Communication was great and the work done is top notch! I used to restore classic muscle cars as a hobby so I have had body work and paint done on cars in the past; at other shops and with varying experiences, so know what good work looks like. The color match is perfect, the repair is flawless, there is no overspray, broken panel clips, and you can't tell repairs were done aside from the fact that my car looks better than it did before it was vandalized. I would give negative stars if I could.... The service I received from Carsmetics was worse than horrible. I had to bring my car back three different times for them to fix parts they did not put on correctly. Four times if you count the day they said they would see me but when I brought the car in no one knew what I was talking about. The first time I brought the car back after "repairs" there was a piece hanging down. Second time I had to bring back because they put my bumper on crooked (higher on one side and lower on the other). Today I went to get an oil change from my regular car service and they showed me two different parts that were zip tied on instead of being placed in the proper locations! Yet another mistake by Carsmetics mechanics. There is also leaks from my front grill which is the area Carsmetics was supposed to fix. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!!!!!! read more

Unprofessional and inadequate are the nicest comments I can leave. I went there twice to get a quote after an rear-end accident. I was told there was no one available and was turned away. Third time, there was someone there that could provide a quote. The person didn't seem to understand the points of impact and what needed to be done. What a mess. Unbelieveable. I accidentally backed into a fire hydrant in my mom's car and broke through the metal. I got a few estimates, but Carsmetics was the cheapest by a third of the price and also had the fastest turn around (1 week!!). My mom decided to use another place because they were going to use the authentic Mercedes parts instead of finding other similar parts and welding them on, but I still really appreciated their time and trying to find me the best possible deal! Stay away! Overpriced, unreliable, Peter is rude and socially inept! I have Never received such horrendous customer service anywhere from anyone as I was subjected to at this place by Peter. He strung me along for two months and in the end I took my deposit back and went elsewhere . During the two months dealing with this man he had me bring my car in twice, first time he kept it for a week knowing that he didn't even have all the parts! Never told me til I called to see if it was ready! I had No transportation that week! He scheduled it a second time and on the fourth day when I called he was busy and couldn't speak with me and he'd call by ten the next morning. I called him a few minutes before ten that morning and he was angry that I didn't wait, yelled at me and then hung up on me! I got a ride down there, got my deposit back and went to MC'FEE'S!! They had the work done in Three days, looks Fabulous and charged $1156 LESS than Carsmetics was charging me! Stay Away! read more

Overall very negative experience. I chose this shop only because our insurance Geico works with them and recommended it. it was a huge mistake. I honestly don't understand why Geico, whom we are generally happy about, still has a contract with this shop. We had pretty much the same constellation of the problems as other customers mentioned below: lack of communication, extremely long time of the repair (2 times longer that it was originally promised!), additinal visits due to the issues that were not identified upfront. On top of all that the front desk lady was very rude and unwelcoming. I gave them 2 stars only because we at the end the car was repaired but every other aspects of interaction with them was terrible. Interestingly, I noticed here that the owner only responding to the positive reviews. Perfection...and more. I had my 2016 Explorer repaired (my fault) and paid out of pocket. Peter in the office clearly went over my options, how long it would take and worked around my schedule. My truck was finished the day they said it would be and it didn't cost anymore than they quoted. It came out great...like new! They also fully detailed the whole truck, it was a mess from my dog too. It would have cost me $250+ to get it detailed; Carsmetics did it for no charge. We're do I even start . This place has to be the worst place to try to get any repairs done to your car. I can't even give them half a star because they don't even deserve 1 star. I dropped of my car about three weeks ago. Told the guy that was suppose to be the manager to only fix the hood because a tree branch had fallen on it. At no point in time did I ever mention my bumper whatsoever. Three weeks pass by and the car is still not finished. Not to mention now I have a flat because of them. Never did I Ever receive any paper work nor did I sign anything. All of a sudden it's a back and fourth game with this place. They lack in communication skills. The employees there are just as sloppy at Peter(manager). I am still trying to understand how going in a place to get my hood fix and now all of a sudden you want to make "your" own changes to the car, as if anyone asked them to touch anything else. I took my car here to fix a bumper. I had a fender bender in my new car! :( they were great. I brought my insurance info and car on a Monday and got it back Friday afternoon. They contacted enterprise for me to get a rental. This is the first time I ever had to do this and they made it easy. Didn't get 5 stars only because updating me didn't really happen. I went to carsmetics with my 2014 Lexus IS 250 to get a couple small dents taken out and their exterior and interior detail. Overall I recommend this place, Peter was very nice and my interior was so clean as well as the exterior. They did have my car from Wednesday AM to Friday @ 2 which was a little longer than I thought since I made an appt. I was however bummed they only got 2/4 dents out that I requested (and a third I didn't notice I even had) that cost $300. I know PDR is expensive but the only 2 they got out were visible to me as they couldn't get the other two dents out (one was too close to the door which I get). I just would've thought the price would've been adjusted a little. However, I would recommend for detailing ! read more

My accod coupe got hit by a rolling wheel on high way from the rear passenger side. They took a moth and a half to get my car repaired and it was only a replacement of one quarter panel. They blamed everything on my insurance company, which I understood at first because they didn't do good job on the estimate. But things didn't stop there. I got my car back after 45 days in their shop and upon pick-up, I found two broken door frame piceses in the passenger-side doorhandle storage area. There was also a huge gap between the left C pillar and rear glass. Not to mention the worst. Whenever the road got rough, there was tinny notice coming frome the B pillar. I brought the car back the second day and have the manager checked. He claimed he would need to order parts for the car and have me waited for another whole week. During the one week waiting, I found out there were TWO MAJOR BOLTS (that holds the front dashboard) missing on the passenger side doorframe. I informed this to the shop manager, he claimed they didn't even touch the doorframe, which was impossible because it was a part of the quarter panel (my car is a Coupe). They asked me to proof there were bolts otherwise they wouldn't be responsible for it. I found a same car and took pictures of it and send it to the manager Peter and then he ordered the bolts and put them back in. I finally got my car back after two months. And all the tiny noise was caused by a missing bolt inside the B pillar, which the manager and his workers did not find out until the third time I brought the car back to them! read more

Not only did they do an excellent job of completing the repair, but they also worked with my insurance company so that I didn't have to do anything at all. When my car was returned to me, exactly on the date they specified that it would be done, it was in showroom condition. I appreciated how well repaired and how clean it was... great job! Fantastic from the moment I walked in the door until my car was completed. Peter and his whole team were very informative, answered any questions I had, even regarding insurance questions. They set up a rental for me and even when additional damage was found, they called the adjuster and made sure that I was kept informed about every little thing. I stopped by for an estimate on vehicle scratch repair today. A woman first took a look visually at my vehicle, offered no itemized written estimate, just a final figure of $2500+ We then went inside for her to ask another employee to take a look at my vehicle. He seemed reluctant to move from his desk and disinterested in general. When he finally stepped outside, he just echoed what the woman had verbally estimated. Along with poor customer service and lack of professionalism, the verbal estimate was excessive, certainly not competitive with any area auto body business and quite inconsistent with their advertising! read more

Terrible!! We recently got rear ended and called our insurance who recommended this new place called Carmetics. We went in and made an appointment to have the work done. Because we share a car and commute timing was really important so we reviewed the details and picked a day that would work for us in the future. The guy, there are only 3 of them, said it wasn't a bad dent and would take one day to fix, so drop it off and then pick it up after work. This seemed like such an easy fix! After work when I was in my borrowed car commuting from Boston to Worcester at 5pm, I called to verify that the car was ready only to be told nope, sorry, it will take us 3 days. I was given no real reason why the other guy said it would take one day. The man on the phone said it would only take 4 hours but the insurance gave them 3 days so they would take the three days. For only 3 people working there no one knew who we spoke to the first time, no one even apoplogized!! After I explained the cost of parking in Boston without my car's work decal, the case to commute back and forth in by borrowed truck from my friend, and the tolls without FastPass they were costing me an extra 100 over the 3 days! No one cared, no one even seemed to care. WORST PEOPLE EVER!! I would like to tell all of Worcester, if you are looking for a good car place- DO NOT GO TO CARMETICS! read more
