While I only continued lessons for a couple of months, she was able to help me perform drastic changes in my vocal power and stamina. She is patient and seems genuinely interested in her students success. She will put you through the paces of classical training first. While she encourages all styles of singing, you will have to learn the classical techniques and warm ups first. After warm ups and coaching on proper pitch correction using scales, she does let you sing what you want. She will actually coach you though a song that you are struggling with and identify problems and offer remedies that show immediate results. While the results were drastic for me, the results are only as good as the effort the student puts in.

He is now 15 and recently had to leave SOR, but only because he is now in High School was not able to juggle all of his high school extra curricular activities as well as the SOR schedule. He plays guitar like a professional and that is all due to the fantastic instruction at SOR Broomfield. We are now looking for a new guitar teacher and it's been difficult to find one with the ability to teach children like the instructors at SOR do. We met with two instructors, who have each been playing guitar for 20+ years, turn down teaching my son (who has been playing guitar for less than 5 years) because my son knew more and played better than they do. No Joke!!! This is all due to SOR as he started playing guitar with them and has never been taught by anyone else. SOR is the real deal. If you have a child who is interested in music, sign them up!
