When I was setting up the guitar stands on Sunday the 6th I found out one of them was defective. On Monday the 7th of September I attempted to return one stand for a replacement but found out they were closed-it was Labor day. On the 8th of Sept I left town for 10 days, and returned on the 18th. On the 19th I went to Woodsongs in an attempt to have the defective guitar stand replaced. The nice young man behind the counter said he'd have to talk to the manager. The manager appeared and told me they had a strict 7 day return policy. I told him I tried to return the stand on Monday the 7th of September but they were closed, and that I'd been out of town since then. He told me that they are never closed and that I should have returned it before I left town. He didn't replace the stand which is not an expensive item, and treated me as though I was making an unreasonable request to have the stand replaced. He even told me that I broke it and it was my fault. As a retail outlet, the customer service is very poor and there is a air of arrogance about the shop. I'll never go back there again. I'll go to Louisville. I've been around music my whole life and usually musicians are good to other musicians. I don't get the impression this shop is run by players. Just a retail shop.

The drum room has a decent selection of equipment, sets, cymbals and stuff but it does feel a bit disorganized and doesn't have an isolated room for trying out an acoustic set which is unfortunate. They were all either on their phones, talking amongst each other, or just didn't seem like they wanted to be there.

I took her advice right before my first performance in well over a year and actually ENJOYED the on stage experience! I figured if she could make such a difference in my life through a YouTube video (that I admittedly watched a few dozen times), imagine what I could learn by becoming a client? I've had almost a decade of private vocal coaching so I know high quality instruction when I see it. Performance High offers so much more than vocal technique though. I recently started performance coaching lessons with Justin Long and I am seriously mind blown. There are very few schools that offer the curriculum available here. Schools which dispense knowledge in a practical manner that is useful AND AFFORDABLE to an indie artist like myself. Did I mention I live in the Bay Area of California so our sessions are in video conference via Facebook chat/Google/FaceTime??? The distance isn't even an issue because technology closes the gap. With regards to my sessions with Justin, the breadth and depth of his expert instruction is thorough, easy to comprehend, logical, and compassionate. He exceeds my expectations (read: value=more bang for your buck). I always leave super excited to implement his methods!!! Performance High rocks on every level possible!!!

He is now 15 and recently had to leave SOR, but only because he is now in High School was not able to juggle all of his high school extra curricular activities as well as the SOR schedule. He plays guitar like a professional and that is all due to the fantastic instruction at SOR Broomfield. We are now looking for a new guitar teacher and it's been difficult to find one with the ability to teach children like the instructors at SOR do. We met with two instructors, who have each been playing guitar for 20+ years, turn down teaching my son (who has been playing guitar for less than 5 years) because my son knew more and played better than they do. No Joke!!! This is all due to SOR as he started playing guitar with them and has never been taught by anyone else. SOR is the real deal. If you have a child who is interested in music, sign them up! It did wonders for my son's self esteem and unlocked a very special talent in him that we otherwise may not have known he had.
