Strawberry Lime Jasmine Green tea with kiwi and strawberry popping boba
Cynthia S.

Two trips to Harmony Tea shop recently to enjoy a passion fruit and lime green tea with strawberry and passion fruit popping boba for my granddaughters's choice to help celebrate her birthday, and (she had a strawberry lime with kiwi and strawberry popping boba). It's not only visually appealing but delicious and fun. Since they offer such yummy customizable drinks with great variety I had to go back and have a mango jasmine green milk tea with cheese foam, yes cheese foam, a great addition that adds another subtle layer of flavor, peach popping boba and it has mango pieces-such a great combo! I could go there everyday and never tire of these delicious drinks. What's your pleasure tapioca boba, yogurt, jelly, popping boba, brewed teas, various combo teas milk teas and so much more. And if you're watching your sugar you can opt out or opt for 100, 50 25 % sugar and they honor ice quantity requests. They have some desserts that look epic but I have not tried them yet. Several locations are available and each offers different items like some desserts and or meal choices. The 86th st location has pleasing decor and you can order easily through their self ordering system. Truly a unique drink and more experience that has so many options, there's surely something you'll love. I hope to try their food sometime too! (My daughter said it's good) I'm craving a boba tea right now! Don't miss this gem of a place!!!

Mochi donuts

Five words: matcha/taro ice cream cup. This was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. As a person who usually avoids super sweet things and leans towards the savory side of life, I purchased it, expecting to enjoy a bite or two. However, I had one bite and fell in love with the varying texture and flavors layered throughout. You can choose to order it with matcha, taro (almost tastes like sweet potato), or a mix of both ice creams. I went for the mix, which also had mochi balls, chunks of matcha sponge cake, red beans, and granola in it. The mochi balls were my favorite, the beans added a creaminess, and the granola added a nice crunch. I ate every bite and wasn't left with that fake taste in my mouth that I often get from eating too sweet of desserts. This was perfect. They also sell mochi donuts, bubble waffles with ice cream, smoothies, teas, mocktails, and more. You order on the digital screens and then they call your name when it's ready. I really like that you can choose your sweetness level -- I always choose 0% sweet and am happy to know that no sugar has been added. The owners are kind, the decor is cute, there's free parking outside, and if you want a meal to go along with your drink or treats, you have Sushi Boss, Petra Cafe, and Thai Station a few steps away too. I'll be back!

Very cute shop! I'm not familiar with the concept but was excited to give it a try. I wasn't a huge fan of the kiosk ordering, as it's a pretty extensive menu with items having multiple modifications to select. I had to try the mochi donuts, as they seem to be a relatively new item around town and people are always saying how tasty they are. Also purchased a black tea (half sugar) for my husband and a jasmine green tea for myself (no sugar). First, the donuts were good! I really enjoyed the chocolate flavor one the most! They others frosting was a bit too sweet for my liking. My husband's favorite was the strawberry but I didn't get to try that one because he ate it all before I had the chance lol My jasmine tea was very tasty! However, my husband didn't think his drink had much flavor. It's also a little pricey in my opinion as I believe it was $5.50 per tea. Very nice cup and packaging though. Check it out!

Just took the family out to this grand opening and it was amazing! The owner and staff are super helpful and friendly. The kids ordered rose milk tea, daddy ordered matcha milk tea, and I ordered an Avocado Pomelo Mango Sugo drink. That was absolutely phenomenal!!!! We also ordered some mochi doughnuts: matcha, ube, taro, and black sesame. I loved them all! I have been looking for mochi doughnuts in Indy for years and I can't express how deeply satisfying those were. I nearly slid out of my chair to be honest, lol. Last thought: run, don't walk here and get some fresh mochi doughnuts!!!

I visited Harmony for the first time during a Yelp event. I decided to purchase some mochi donuts. I loved them! I can't wait to go back for the other flavors. I would say HT is a higher priced tea shoppe. It's fit for an evening when you want a nicer dessert or sweet something to share even. The inside is nice and welcoming- seating at this location is limited.

I ordered donuts and boba which were yummy! The service though was so delightful, I've already been back a few times! I love the boba options as well! There is parking and inside is so pretty and games to play! It has lovely ambiance. Makes you want to hang out for a while!

I have been to the original location several times and I love these bougie beverages. However, they are quite expensive and 98% not good for me, so it is a real treat when I'm holding one in my hand. I had not, however, tried the boba donuts, so that was different this evening. #Getlostindiana

Caramel milk bubble tea

I stopped by and got three mochi donuts (strawberry, mango and coconut) and a Carmel bubble milk black tea with brown sugar. All are very good and aid say that the bubble tea was more interesting thank others I've had because of the flavor combinations and extras in it. The donuts are good, but $3 for one is pricey. You order at kiosks, as there is no menu on the wall. However the staff is friendly and I'm sure you can ask questions. I was hoping to get the cheese foam topping as an add on, but it appears to not be an option (only for specific drinks I guess). You can custom order your drink with sugar levels and ice amounts too. I will 100% go back, but given the price point it won't be an all the time thing.

We made a trip to Harmony Tea Shoppe after our first choice for boba was closed on Black Friday. This plaza was super busy, basically all the parking spots were taken - but the store was almost completely empty. Hmm... well anyways, we walked in and started our order at the kiosk. Original Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7.50) - The tea here is okay. A slight muted fragrance without much flavor due to the amount of dairy and sugar added. 50% sweet here covers up a lot of the taste - I wouldn't recommend over 25% here. The add the boba, then (I believe) milk or some kind of creamer mixture, then pre-brewed tea from a dispenser. The boba here is not good - the sizes aren't consistent and some stick together into large chunks. It's also on the hard side, with an interior that's not pleasant to chew. On the plus side, the boba is soaked in honey, giving a nice sticky quality to the exterior. Be aware that the small here is comparable to the large size at most normal boba shops (700 ml). The large is 1 liter. We had no idea, because the kiosk doesn't tell you - it's only when we were about to finish our order when we noticed that the drink was going to cost over $11 after tax and tip. That's ridiculous for a drink at any boba shop. Reverting back to the small makes a small difference in cost. In addition to tax, they charge you a service fee, and they auto fill in a 15% tip, which you have to manually change. I'm sorry, but paying a bit under $10 for a normal drink is crazy. It was only after we ordered that we found out that the drink might actually come with boba and by adding this topping (excessively priced at $1.25 per topping, where normal shops are $0.50-$0.75), we got double the amount. I don't believe the kiosk makes this clear - we only found out because we looked at the paper menu afterwards that states literally "All Milk Tea with The Boba". Of course, it doesn't say "comes with" so I'm still not certain. Here are the problems I have with Harmony Tea Shoppe - their ordering kiosk terminal isn't really equipped well enough to sell things. It's missing way too much information for you to make an informed decision on how to customize your drink. Not to mention that the cost of the drinks are a good 25-30% more than their competitors and for a place called a "tea shoppe" I was very disappointed at the paucity of tea varieties offered. The boba quality here is also not up to par. For this kind of quality and cost, Harmony Tea Shoppe is a no-go for me in the future. I guess there's a good reason they haven't been able to expand outside of the Indianapolis area.

Strawberry mock tail with popping boba

Amazing boba shop. The workers greeted us warm I got as soon as we came in and asked if it was our first time-then they continued to guide us through the menu, explain the kiosk, give recommendations, and even give us samples! The interior of the shop is also so cute! Perfect for all your photo needs. We got the tarp/match ice cream, two mock tails, a milk tea, and some mochi donuts. Everything was amazing quality and so delicious!! I wish we lived close by to become regulars, they also had a stamp card. Definitely recommend if you're in the area

I loved Harmony Tea Shoppe so matcha! This is the cutest tea spot with a phenomenal menu for anyone looking for a refreshing way to enjoy the day! I sampled the ice cream which was a taro and matcha mix. If you're a lover of the sweeter side, I recommend the Taro. The matcha ice cream has a hint of sweetness wrapped in earthy vibes that got me hooked! The sweet cereal and cake pieces they add create a whimsical treat! I love mochi donuts so I had to grab a few and they did not disappoint! Mochi donuts have a chewier texture than the more common donuts you may be used to. I find that they taste lighter as well and the toppings are just as amazing. My som loves the oreo mochi donuts while I'm a fan of their ube which to me tastes like a heavenly vanilla.

Passion Fruit & Lime Green Tea

Harmony holds a special place in my heart. I seriously love coming here. The service is always fast and I haven't had a bad drink. I love all of the fruit teas. Especially on a hot summer day. I decided to try something new passion fruit lime tea. I should've ordered half sweet but it's very refreshing. I added kiwi boba as a fun treat. My only caveat is they are extremely expensive. 9 dollars for a tea is steep in my opinion.

Megan F.

Harmony Tea Shoppe's are located all over Indianapolis and seem to have slightly different products between locations. Upon entering we were greeted by friendly staff. I like the setup for ordering and think the kiosk is helpful since they have so many options and customizations. I enjoyed my bubble tea, however I thought the boba was a bit chewy. The shoppe was clean and I would come back again.

My partner and I shared the Seaweed and Cucumber Salad and the Chicken and Steak Hibachi Dinner, while another member of our crew went for the Tonkatsu Ramen. The salad was freshly made, crisp, and presented beautifully. Definitely the work of a culinary artist, not some Padawan on training duty. The hibachi portions could easily feed two adults or one particularly hungry Wookiee. Everything was delicious, and the flavors hit harder than a lightsaber clash. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly timed. The vibe inside was calm but lively, with a modern design that feels more Coruscant chic than Earth casual. Service was fast and friendly, and not a single dark side moment to be found. Dinner was fantastic, the portions were generous, and we're already planning a return mission. The Force and the flavor is strong with Kyoto Nora.

I've heard you you shouldn't sleep on Nora. Earlier this year, I opened my medical massage practice…read morein Nora, and I officially woke up to this hidden gem of an area. There are so many great restaurants and eateries in this condensed Northside neighborhood. Kyoto is a prime example, hiding in plain site on Westfield Blvd, just south of 86th st. My family and I visited Nora because my children have not had the opportunity to see my studio. We decided to make a little day of it. First stop: a hot bowl of real ramen! I am sure the 30 cent package of ramen my children regularly make for lunch at home is "real", but I needed them to experience authentic ramen. Fortunately, my family isn't suffering from any head colds at the moment. But the wonderful Indiana weather decided to drop suddenly and a hot bowl of ramen seemed like just the thing, We started off with a Japanese soda for my oldest son, who loves tasting different sodas (You should see the boy literally light up whenever he sees an ice cold Jarritos!). My girls wanted to try their first boba. I could have sworn they had already tried it, but I guess not! Fun fact: I actually had my first boba tea just earlier this year, and fell in love with the fun concoction! We ordered the milk tea and strawberry boba. Word to the wise: I made one grave error. I had assumed the strawberry boba came with the the popping boba (they have popping boba here!), but there is a small line of text that I completely missed that said popping boba is an additional $1. The dollar is worth it, but I missed it, so both bobas had tapioca. They were good, but the popping boba would have put the strawberry drink over the top. My middle child wanted a simple avocado sushi roll and gyoza. The girl loves her dumplings! The sushi came out beautifully prepared and hand-rolled. With a little drizzle of eel sauce (perhaps the greatest sauce known to mankind, in my opinion. Eel sauce is always the chef's kiss!), my daughter loved her personal sushi roll. We also ordered the tonkotsu ramen, chicken ramen and a teriyaki chicken hibachi plate. The food is fresh to order and comes out fresh and hot. I tasted authentic ramen for the first time earlier this year. (What can I say, it has been a year of new experiences and exploration!) The ramen at Kyoto is served beautifully with corn and a jammy egg. The noodles and broth are velvety smooth. Our server was kind and patient as I helped my family of five navigate the menu for this fresh experience. Kyoto is small in a cozy sense. A great place to bring your family and sit in the middle of the room with tables pulled together, or bring a close friend and sit by the window for some fascinating conversation.

The interior was a vibe with dim lighting that made the rainy meal experience even cozier. Ordering is easy either through the staff or a self ordering kiosk. I ordered a Hokkaido Miso ramen and sat down. Before I could pull out my phone my ramen came out piping hot. As I sipped and slurped my way through the ramen I tasted a rich and savory broth. It had a soft red miso flavor to it which complimented the fresh veggies, chasu and the egg. The chasu was thick and tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly too. I liked the addition of corn to finish up the soup at the end. If I'm in the area again I will be stopping for bubble tea as the menu looked great!

Thankfully, Yujo Ramen & Boba Tea was right up the road. It's tucked into the commercial strip off Meridian and 96th--you could almost miss it if you're not paying attention. I'll be honest: I arrived around 1:30pm and it was completely empty, which caught me off guard. But the vibe was nice and calming, the menu was extensive (ramen and boba options for days), and I landed on the spicy miso ramen--exactly what I needed to warm me up. Nailed it. The broth was rich, savory, and comforting with just the right amount of heat. Every ingredient tasted vibrant and fresh. The green onions, tender pork, and perfectly marinated soft-boiled egg were the ideal companions swimming in that spicy miso goodness. On a gray, cold Indianapolis day, this bowl absolutely hit the spot. Can't wait to come back and try the boba.

I walked in and had to stand to the side to stare at the menu for several minutes, just to figure out what I wanted. There are classic teas, milk teas, slushes, punches, lemonades, yogurts, coffee drinks, seasonal specials. Then you need to decide if you want boba, and if so, what kind? Do you want regular or popping boba? Do you want a milk cap? Cream? Some of the drinks (like the mango slush) come with jelly in it. Do you want the jelly that comes in the drink, or would you prefer it without? Some drinks come hot or cold. Which do you want: Hot or cold? Aghhhhh! There are so many choices. I eventually figured it out and ordered what I thought my children wanted, but then almost screamed when they asked why there were mango chunks in their drink when they only wanted popping boba. Guess what, kid? You got lucky and you got bonus mango jelly in your drink. Congratulations. This Kung Fu Tea is a nice little place to hang out, though. They have board games that you can play at your table, and we played one of them while we waited for our drinks.
