I went in for a full set of almond french tip nails. immediately started off wrong. i walked in…read morewith a friend and they took her first which was no problem. but then a lady walked in after us with no appointment for the same thing i was getting and got to go before me. i ended up waiting 30 minutes and my friend was close to done when i was just getting started. The application was ok but every time she messed up she used her finger to wipe and not a napkin or towel which can cause dermatitis. and it did in this instance. All of my nails are different sizes and i did tell her that multiple times and that my thumb was very crooked but she only gave it a few sends of filing and went on with her day. she cut 4 of my fingers and they bled. then proceeded to not have me wash my hands or wash the blood off and put product over it. the acrylic powder burned so much when it was put over the cuts i was in so much pain. after my nails were painted and all cured up, she filed them some more and then put lotion on my hands. She did not tell me to wash them and rubbed lotion into my hands with all of that dust and nail residue all in the lotion, so it was very grainy and very unpleasant. And then proceeded to put nail oil on me. I've been some multiple nail salons and I've recently just moved here but every nail salon I've been to after filing they make you wash your hands so that you don't have that grainy nail residue on you. my cuticles are now scabbed covered in blood and look very unpleasant, which is dissatisfying because I take very good care of my hands and my cuticles. it ended up being $70 in the end which I expected for a full set but usually when I get cut and bleed at any other nail salon, I get some sort of discount or they at least help me clean it up. I did not tip and got a weird look for not tipping but why would I tip a service that I was not satisfied with and was already paying $70 for? I hope this problem gets fixed because it is the only semi affordable place near me. But now I have contact dermatitis and messed up cuticles and won't be able to get my nails done for quite some time because I am in so much pain.

I've been going here for about a year. Saturday I noticed a couple of new nail techs. One was…read morevery chatty. I got there early to get the full on pedicure and then a fill in on my nails Pedicure was ok but I've had better. He was new and had to ask how to do the "Volcano " pedicure. I was going to expand my nail horizons and get these cool black nails with studs.... The new tech sat down and was talking away even before that. I showed her the pic She said Ok. She started the process talking away to her coworkers. I had to remind her twice to cut them back. She had just done the cut back with the Dremel tool (usually they manually cut them). She was talking to someone on her right and looked away and as she began to look back to me she hit my left ring finger with the Dremel tool going and WHAM ! It stung. She immediately grabbed it and blood started flowing. She kept putting some product on it and pressure but it wouldn't stop bleeding. So she covered it with a paper towel and finished my other nails. She kept apologizing and said she didn't want any product to get into it and that it was severe. She was going to do the black I had asked for but I said no because it would look stupid with a bandaid on one finger. I had her just do a natural color. Not the look I was so excited to have for Valentine's dinner out She told me to let it heal and come back in 2 weeks and she would fix it. She didn't charge me for the nails Told me to keep an eye on it and if it got infected to go to Patients First and give them the bill I was trying to be gracious and told her be glad it was me and not someone else who might not be as understanding. She said Thank you. I came home and immediately cleaned it with alcohol and neosporin and a fresh bandaid. As of today, Wednesday, I can now see what I thought was blood that seeped under the old nail product is actually my exposed nail bed along with the cuticle slice My finger is throbbing today. This is the first time I've ever had something like this happen. I'm so disappointed. I'm not going back there anymore. But now my dilemma is finding a new reputable Salon near me. But it will be awhile before this heals over enough PS. There was a really nice lady beside me who had just started getting hers done and her Tech apologized to her and had her wash her hands. I heard that lady say " I guess it happens ". So it seems some happened to her as well. Seems they've hired unqualified Techs.
