First, Kellie has great availability because she works long days 5 and 6 days a week. So even though she is super busy with loyal clients like me, she always tries to make time. Second, her nail area is super clean, the hygiene there is superb. Third, the selection of colors and polishes is huge. She is always adding new product. Fourth: her price point is great. I pay $95 for gel manicure AND pedicure (plus a good tip)! She is highly skilled and can provide nail art freehand if you want or you want to change up. I've gotten tropical flowers, hearts, all kinds of fun designs. Fifth: Kellie is super nice, super sweet and super friendly. If you want to chit chat she's great and if you prefer a more quiet nail pampering she's all in. She immediately greeted me, offered me a drink, and made me feel welcome. The inside of the salon is super cute with little decorations everywhere and feels cozy. I loved to see they had a few products from local businesses including amazing candles that were burning. It smelled incredible! When she was ready we did the shampoo which included a nice head massage. The salon senior stylist, Ashley, came over and warmly welcomed me and chatted with me about some of their services and products. After hearing about their teacup clarifying treatment, I knew I had to try it and it really made a difference in my natural blonde. For my haircut I felt comfortable the entire time she Tara would check with Ashley if she was unsure of something. Honestly Tara is really great and did such a fantastic job. With her learning under Ashley I can't wait to see the growth in her skills. After the cut I opted to do the split end treatment. Before I even paid and left the salon I mentioned not being happy with my hair stating "I thought it would be much lighter" and the stylist made multiple excuses and told me it would lighten after a few washes (it did not after a week) My original appointment was rescheduled with very short notice (2 hours prior due to stylist). When I initially asked for my hair to get fixed it took multiple days to discuss a new appointment time. I told the stylist I would prefer first thing in the morning 3 days from then and it wasn't until AFTER I requested a refund did she miraculously have availability on that day.

I have no idea where to start. I came to see Brittany for hair extensions... something I have…read morewanted for years because my natural hair is so thin. First off, I was over charged for the hair. The website of the hair Brittany uses has much cheaper prices than what I paid for the hair. Second, after only two weeks of having my hair extensions in, the color stripped out of them and they turned a horrible blonde color (I'm a brunette). While Brittany did put toner in them for me free of charge, the same thing happened again two weeks later. One can only assume something is wrong with the quality of the hair I just dropped $400 on. It's important to note that I also used all of the recommended products throughout this process . Anyway, after the extensions faded the second time, I was told there was nothing more they could do for me and I would have to purchase all new hair and start over. Let me also add that Brittany charges $325 per hour for for installation, so "starting over" would be another $700 investment. This is when I decided to go to a different salon for a second opinion. And this is where things get interesting. The new salon I went to was willing to work with the hair that I already had so that I didn't need to buy new hair right away. And the new salon I'm going to only charges **$80** per row of hair for installation. I had two rows, so $160 was still a great price compared to Brittany. When I went to my new salon to have my extensions moved up, I was HORRIFIED at what they discovered. Brittany had installed my extensions SO TIGHTLY that it literally ripped my hair out of my scalp. I could not believe the amount of my hair falling to the ground as they combed through it. I lost at least half of my natural hair due to Brittany's careless installation. I literally sat in my chair at the new salon sobbing at the sight before me. My hair... just gone. I put my trust into Brittany to help me with something that made me insecure to begin with and now I'm left worse off than where I started. Something that was always my dream so quickly has become my worst nightmare. Oh, and it's important to add that I was seeing these little white hair follicles all along, but I thought it was part of the extensions themselves. It wasn't until today that I learned it was my natural hair follicles that had been yanked out of my scalp. Which means that when I went to Brittany to have to her put toner in the hair the first time, she also saw these follicles and neglected to do or say anything about them. Careless, negligent, money-oriented. That's all I have to say. If you're in the market for hair extensions, avoid Brittany at all costs. You're getting overcharged for careless service, and there are MUCH better salons in Coastal Virginia that actually care about YOU and not your money. I am so horrified at my experience and the physical damages done to my scalp/hair that I will pursue legal action.

She was talking so loudly with people which is totally fine to have conversation; but to do it so loudly without a concern for the customer your servicing is crazy. I wanted to come back but I don't think I'll ever go back again because I wouldn't want her to touch my head again. I still felt the pain of the hair pull and rip all night and I still get anxiety thinking of all the hair she pulled out. It has taken me a long time to regrow my hair. I treat my head gently. There is no reason why anyone should be pulling your hair during a wash. I wish I could go back in time and never let this girl touch my head.
