This place will surprise you with the interior space (beautifully decorated) plus the outside seating which is also pet friendly. I went upstairs and sat at the bar where I met Kate...she is a non-stop dynamo behind the bar with a fun personality. The two dishes I enjoyed were specials for the evening and may not be available when you visit. My appetizer...black mussels in an elegant cream sauce...this dish blew me away. Make sure you dip the bread in the sauce, it was so good I was tempted to order another helping. For dinner the fried Grouper over a bed of gnocchi and a drizzle of aioli was incredible. The breading was light, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the combination of flavors was very well done. While I am not a fan of the texture of gnocchi...this was really good with the cream sauce. What sets this place apart...the people! Yes...the food is great! But when you spend four hours enjoying a great meal, intriguing conversation, and a smattering of food theory you know you've found a bit of paradise. Thanks to Kate, the owner Jason, Chef Armen and his wife Ericka...it was a pleasure to meet and spend time with all of you.

We kicked things off with two of their monthly appetizer specials--octopus salad and steak fries--and both were outstanding. We planned to continue with main dishes, but as the place filled up, the service understandably slowed down. It seemed like the server was handling everything on his own, so no fault to him. That said, the food was on point. The fries might be the best I've ever had, and the steak was cooked perfectly--even without asking for our preferred doneness. I'll definitely be back and hope to see this place thrive. It's a great spot for a date night. I'd love to see more salad options on the menu, but overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Visited December 9, 2025…read more For as long as Five Guys has been around, I had somehow never tried it - until this year. Today was my third visit to the Smyrna location, and I'm officially a fan. Service & Food: The service has been consistently friendly, and the food has been spot-on every time. For a fast-casual spot, the dining area is as clean as it gets, and the restroom was surprisingly tidy as well. Small Suggestion: My only recommendation would be to keep the pumped ketchup stocked. Other than that, the team here is absolutely killing it. Extras & Convenience: When dining in, they usually bring your food right to your table after you order at the counter- not always but a nice touch. The women's restroom has a changing table (bonus points), and there's plenty of hassle-free parking. Price Point: Expect to spend around $23 for a cheeseburger with all the toppings, a soda, and little fries. Overall, this location delivers a great experience and has officially made me a Five Guys customer whenever seeking a burger.

When the employee finally came out, instead of being respectful, she immediately gave me an aggressive attitude. When I asked if everything was okay since I had been waiting so long, she became verbally aggressive and insulted me, including calling me a "fat ass." I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and was simply trying to use the restroom. Being spoken to this way was extremely humiliating and emotionally distressing. Another individual, who claimed to be her brother, was also present and aggressively yelled at me. I felt intimidated and unsafe, especially being 35 weeks pregnant. My partner had to step in because he was shouting at me. The shift leader on duty, Corey Hedges, did not properly handle the situation and instead implied that I had escalated it. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially not by employees. This was completely unacceptable and very disappointing.

All of our food was great, and came out exactly as ordered (we had some modifications). It was hot and fresh. Staff members stopped by a couple of times to see if we needed anything which was really a nice touch and unexpected. The negative: it was really kind of dirty in the restaurant. The tables weren't, but the floor was quite a mess. The area around the trash can, too. It felt as though it hadn't been mopped in a month.

Visited December 12, 2025…read more Ordered carryout to end the night and, unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. I saw they offered smash burgers and was hoping for something at least on par with Shake Shack or Steak 'n Shake, especially given the $40 price point, but it fell short. My order included a burger, hot dog, kids burger, fries, a shake, a root beer float, and side condiments. When I opened the bag, the condiments were missing, and there were no napkins or straws included. The fries were stale and not even a full portion. The burger was overly salty, to the point that I didn't finish it, and it looked nothing like the photo; additionally there were barely any mushrooms or onions. I may give it another try dining in to see if the experience is better, but with several stronger options nearby, it will likely be a while before I return.

They're massive and the breading has almost a tempura type quality to it, somewhat light but still great crunch. For all my ranch people out there, the ranch is pretty good here too and they weren't stingy with it either. Our server was great and took great care of us.
