This is an easy on easy off access location for this particular Hardee's. I have not ever physically been inside the store as I use the drive thru therefore this review is only based upon my drive thru experience (as is most of my reviews for fast food). I find the drive thru location to be a bit awkward (depending on the direction that you enter the parking lot. However, with a bit of navigation, you will get into the drive thru lane and begin ordering your food. They folks here are pleasant and prompt. The food order is generally fast (as it should be) and correct. I am giving 3 stars as I have been to quite a few Hardee's locations and this one, while the food is good. I have had much better made burgers and well presented at locations on this same street in Smyrna. However, it is fast food and you can not expect to get but so much out of the experience (other than a quick bite to eat). read more

Horrible location to go to! We stopped here on our way home from the beach and the experience was terrible, we got a kids meal for our 2 boys to share, supposed to be 2 tenders, they gave us one tender that they cut in half, my husband ordered a double burger and got a single, he had to go backup to have it fixed, we asked for ranch with the kids meal and my meal and had to ask for it for not receiving it, the fry's were old and leather, my kids wouldn't even eat them, will never be going back, service was absolutely awful! The employees clearly hated their jobs - they were cold and short. I ordered a Frisco with no tomatoes (as noted on the order receipt) and still got tomatoes. The burger was clearly day old and not even reheated to lukewarm. I literally threw it away because it still had cold spots. The fries were soggy, barely warm and old. We were the only people in the drive thru line and we still have to park on the waiting area because apparently It takes a lot of time to microwave a burger patty to lukewarm temp. read more

I went through the drive thru to get a milkshake and onion rings. The service was good and fairly quick. The cost of the food was good. The chocolate milkshake was delicious! The onion rings had got cold in the few blocks before I got home, so I had to reheat them in a toaster oven. They were a little tough when I ate them, but the taste was good. This Hardee's is ridiculous. Sign in the window says they start serving lunch at 10:30. Went to pick up food for my son at 10:35 and was told they don't start serving lunch until 11. I asked about the sign, they said oh we start serving lunch at 11:30. So I ordered a breakfast sandwich, got to the window, PAID, then was asked to pull up. There were NO other cars in line. At all. So I said no and got a refund. Hardee's is slow, overpriced, and the food is just average. Ate here for breakfast at 630am by myself. Property is clean and restaurant is clean but could use some detailedcleaning. Floor is a little sticky. Associates were very polite and professional. I usually go in the mornings and let me start of by saying that the staff is friendly and quick. My only issue is the quality of food. I usually get a chicken biscuit at Hardee's for breakfast and I enjoy it at other Hardee's but this one the biscuit is over cooked and chicken is not fresh. My coffee is always bitter. If I order only things there fine. I always always get the apple turnovers they are never fresh as well. Mind u I only go in the morning they shouldn't be an issue with their fried items. worst place. i never put bad reviews for things but that was the worst place ever. so ghetto. it was messy everywhere. it was really hot in there. the one stall didn't have toilet paper, and the one that did had a disgusting toilet seat. seemed like it has never been cleaned. workers walked past the drink area that had soda spilled everywhere and didn't do anything about it. they only gave me one pickle on my burger. will not be returning to any arby's any time soon. read more

This Hardee's is easy to access if you're approaching Dover from the south via Route 1 since it's just off a highway linking Route 1 to US-13. They have a small but adequate parking lot. This parking lot is next to an environmental conservation area and a duck pond, but heed the sign and do not feed the ducks. The dining area and restroom appeared clean on the night I visited this restaurant. Hardee's food is a bit above average for fast food. The burgers are decent and the fries are good. The real treat is the iced tea, which is a good alternative to the usual sodas. I wish they wouldn't put the iced tea dispensers away until their actual closing time. read more

Have always been pleased with food here. Breakfast is really good. Just be aware that this really ISN'T A FAST FOOD PLACE. The food is made to order so you must be patient. They've added the Red Burrito menu here a few years ago but I have yet to try it out. With Tonalteca and Taco Hell right up the road I forget about it when I want Mexican. read more

Stopped here after the NASCAR race yesterday to grab something to bring back to the hotel before an early morning drive to Baltimore airport. Place was empty exept for 2 people waiting for food. I got double cheeseburger, my girl got beef taco salad and side of onion rings. Place had all dirty tables , soda machine drain was overflowing and one side wasn't working. Upon getting our order and returning to the hotel, her onion rings were undercooked and all stuck together in one big soggy clump.then she abruptly pushed her salad away and started yelling what is that !!?? Well as she was eating, she started mixing it up and there were bugs in it. I seen a dead fly on the top and some other insect a little deeper. We don't have Hardee's in southern Jersey so whenever I drive south and see one, I dine there. There's nothing exceptional about the chain, but it's nice to have a little variety. Their burgers are flame-broiled, so that helps. Dining here always remind me of my childhood visiting my grandfather and having a burger. read more

I went at an off peak time to grab an early dinner between meetings. Ordered a double bacon thick burger 2/3lbs. The receipt reflected my order correctly. The staff got confused that it was a To Go order (the receipt indicated exactly that). When I got back to the office... I had a basic cheese burger. Extremely let down. I don't recall ever enjoying a Hardee's meal. Maybe because I was always coming in with a herd of people on a bus full of skiiers. We stopped at this one on the way to the beach and coupons for the Hardee burger. Got 2 burgers and shared some bacon cheese fries. The burgers were top notch! Better than alot of burgers in restaurants. It was 1/3 of a lb. We couldnt imagine eating the 1/2 lb burger. The fries were skinny fries and tasty. I didnt care for the cheese and bacon as much. Would prefer them plain with salt and maybe a little ketchup but we still licked them clean. The service at the front was extremely friendly and also the person that brought the food out to us was friendly as well. I will stop here again on the way to the beach again for sure! read more
