First time trying their breakfast and they did not disappoint! They use real eggs. The bacon was fresh. And the biscuit was soft! For how early in the morning it was, the staff was pleasant. I will definitely be going back again for breakfast. Yum! read more

We stop here frequently, even driving down to get breakfast sandwiches because they have the best biscuits. Although it depends on the staff, we've always had a pretty decent experience at this location. The service is fast enough (walk in orders at the counter or at the drive through). Only once or twice has it taken longer than we expected. The food is excellent compared to other fast food establishments. Their larger burgers even give places like Red Robin some competition as a slightly lower price. I've never been a fan of their fries (I like my fries to be very thinly cut), but they're good. My favorite is the breakfast sandwiches. Sooooooo good. Hardees is our go-to spot when we're on vacation and want a quick breakfast. This one is definitely worth a stop. Second time they have made our order wrong when we've pre-ordered online for pick-up. This time it was a bacon double cheeseburger combo that does not come with mayo - and they added mayo, on both sides of the bun. For someone who despises mayo, this was disgusting and made the meal inedible. Driving 20 minutes back to the restaurant while the rest of the family ate their meal was even less appealing than the mayo slathered burger. Complete waste of money for a combo meal that could not be eaten. Moral of this story - check every item in your order before you drive away. Every time. I don't know about other locations or this fast food chain in general, but I've had nothing but positive experience at this location and I strongly prefer it over McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and the like. We first found this fast food joint after a hike at the nearby US Army Heritage Trails. We now try to find excuses to stop by whenever we pass by the area. The decor is modern, sporting a refreshing red and platinum color scheme. The place feels neat and clean; I believe it's still less than 2 years old. After you pay for your order, you're given a placard which you place on your table and they'd bring your food over when ready, just like Noodles & Co. That's nothing much but still a nice touch for fast food. Their beef patties are supposedly Angus beef, not quite as good as Five Guys, but a lot better than others. The cheeses they use don't seem stodgy like McDonald's or Wendy's. Pricing is on par. They do observe happy hours between 2 and 5 pm where you can have a double charbroiled Angus slider for only $1.25. Talk about god-sent afternoon snacks! Maybe I am just tired of the usual burger chains, but for now I remain a fan of Hardee's. read more

Stopped in for breakfast while driving through the area. We walked in, assuming that we would have to get our order to go - due to COVID restrictions. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the dining area was open (with proper distancing between tables). It was very modern and bright. This is, by far, the CLEANEST fast food restaurant we've ever been in...including the restrooms. It's very apparent that management takes pride in their facility, and it shows! read more

I just don't understand how i ordered online for a drive -thru pick up and still end up waiting 12 minutes.. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? I was always a fan of hardees. It's a nice change from BK. I recommend going for their 1/4 burgers which are much tastier than the smaller, cheaper menu offerings. I've only tried it in Florida and Georgia at least 5 years ago. It could be that my taste buds have evolved since then, or the fact that I bought one of the smallest value meals on the menu, ( poor attempt at keeping my lovely figure) but my burger was very ho-hum and not worth a drive from Mechanicsburg to Carlisle. Perhaps the Patti was of lesser grade meat? It didn't have that char taste. I couldn't smell that salivation inducing char sitting in the drive though either. Bummer. I dunno. My soda wasnt fizzy, sweet enough either. I know, i know, im just being stupid picky! Lastly, I wasn't too keen on their fries either. BK has better fries and dare I say, Wendys?! Overall, i tninkningot what i paid for. Service was friendly and quick. Maybe i'll stick to the bigger burgers, skip the fries and drink. Went through the drive through, ordered 5 pc chicken strips and curly fries. I ended up with a chili cheeseburger and cold greasy mix of regular and curly fries. My burger and my husband's burger was still raw in the middle. This location was great when it first opened but has gone downhill. read more

Well, it's not as good as they were in the 70's. As a kid, the Hardees plain hamburger was the best of all fast food chains, you could taste the difference. We stopped in here the first weekend they were opened. I tried the plain hamburger and I was disappointed. I'm not into fast food, so I won't be going back. Just came from your store, had the worst meal ever, store was not busy but it still took 20 minutes to get my food, food came cold, took back up, employees seamed confused as what to do, they reheated my meal and it came back half warm, not sure if a manager was on duty or not, if they were then they need to train the employees better. I have been twice so far. The biscuits were a little hard, but not nearly as hard as mcdonalds on high street most of the time. the 2nd time I got a chicken sandwich. it tasted good. I am glad that I don't have to go to Harrisburg location anymore. they messed up my order a lot at that location and another time no soap in the bathroom. so far I am having better luck with the carlisle location. I hope to try more items on the menu. IT is near the sheetz gas station. if you pass burger king on high street keep going straight and you will see it. read more
