There trailers are over priced but they get the job done . If you expect they can do repairs on a trailer you purchase from them , you got a better chance winning the lottery , I brought in my trailer for repair 7 months ago still wanting for it to get done , never get a update call , at face value they try but behind the seems they don't do anything. I have bought several trailers from them and had service work on lights or trailer plugs. I recently bought a new truck and the lights weren't working on the trailer even though the new truck was a chevy (same brand as previous truck, just a newer model) Their shop guy quickly got me into the shop with my trailer and troubleshooting began, determined several of the lights were shorted or bad wiring or both. So appointment was made the following week and the trailer was dropped off just after 9am and was done by 11am completed as promised. All lights are working and a new plug in adapter was installed. Was passing thru and had some issues with my trailer. After calling 7 other shops, all said 30 days before they could even look mine over, the guys there said bring it in. They fixed the issues with my trailer and installed a new brake control. All said and done I was in and out in about 2 hours. Price was fair and customer service was great. The staff at Hardcastle's are life savers!!!!! We are out-of-staters enjoying a 3 month camping getaway. Everything was going fine on our return from Lake of the Woods until our brake-away cable pulled out of the box and our trailer brakes burned up along with some wiring. This unfortunate incident happened on Friday afternoon, July 1st---the Fourth of July weekend. Things looked dismal for us until we found Hardcastle's. They advised us to bring the trailer over and they would take a look. Joel immediately accessed the situation and had the wheels removed and new brakes installed in about an hour. He also replaced the wiring for the brake-away cable and wired it properly so it wouldn't pull loose. Co-owners Scott and Joe provided us with valuable information about travel trailers while we waited and Scott helped us reset our trailer brake unit located under the dash. These guys were professional, hard working, quick and helpful. They knew we were in a major bind and they fit us in and got the job done. I expected to experience some sticker shock when I got the bill but the amount was so much less than I expected. To say there are reasonably priced is an understatement. I highly recommend this business. They went out of their way to help us and we were able to continue on to our next camping site rather than having to stay in a motel for the Fourth of July weekend while we waited for our trailer to be fixed. read more

Worst experience ever, pushy nasty sellers, charged 42$ to change a fuse, do not go there

The staff is friendly enough, sometimes I believe they are only friendly long enough to make the sale. Once the sale has been made they really don't want anymore to do with you. The cargo trailer I purchased, was sold to the person that is buying a new trailer from them. So since they knew the person from the previous sale, they did not feel, just like the owner who failed to verify the information on the title was correct, like the VIN #. The dealership took it a step further, by not verifying the owner signed the title, which it took over a week to receive the title, so I could verify the information on the title was correct, which you know the answer to that. I notified the Dealership about the problem and asked them the hard questions about them verifying the information on the trailer and the answer is "no, we sold him the trailer in 2007 and the information was correct on the paperwork they gave him". I can't believe they don't think that there could have been a human error. So I asked the dealership to ask the owner for a discount since I had to do both of their jobs and pay extra to get the title fixed, which should not be my cost. So my best recommendation is to find a different cargo dealership. read more
