Dawn, her husband, and especially Jose' and Sean were the heroes of the day! My storage unit caused a delay by not being available as I had requested in writing and via phone a month in advance. Hence, we were delayed. Jose' and Sean showed up in Redmond with my belongings and worked tirelessly for a minimum of over 5 hours gently removing everything. They graciously listening to my stories of where I acquired what; smiled; and were great listeners. Since I had not seen my belongings in so long, I was delightfully surprised to see certain items as I had forgotten them. I highly recommend this team of professionals/experts at moving. Would use them again tomorrow! Dawn, please pass on my thanks to Jose' and Sean. They are the bomb~~~~Cheers! Cathy Lehman

This move was from Medford, OR to CA. PNMS was hired to pack up the home and move us. When we met Solomon we were very comfortable with the quote and the process as he explained it to us. From the beginning the communication was poor and responses were slow. We already had work start dates and needed to know the schedule. I want to be really clear that this review has very little to do with the crew, they were awesome. They were professional, considerate of our things and very polite. There was a mix up with the paperwork regarding the insurance and I was asked to sign off with the addition of an insurance company we wanted to use. Austin explained this all to me but I needed to ask my husband who we were using for the insurance. Austin explained that I NEEDED to sign but that he would leave the paperwork on the counter for me to complete. I was unaware of the fact that Austin's partner was going into labor and he was dealing with that as well. The following day the crew showed up to pack the truck and begin the drive to CA, Austin was not there and I was informed about his situation at home. The, I assumed, lead guy that day told me that he would try to track down that paperwork before they left...I never saw it, and then they were gone. Fast forward to delivery day, only 2 guys were here to unload 2 trucks at a two story house. Again, these guys worked their tails off and continued to be awesome! Unfortunately, 1 of our 4 plasma screen TVs was damaged during the move. They took a screen shot of the back of the broken TV, sent it to Solomon and I was told that it would be replaced by the exact TV. Then came the grill. A $1,200 grill was destroyed, beyond repair. I looked as if it was rammed by a tree trunk, the dent so deep it broke the steel seal around the door, broke both of the heat gauges so that they don't' work at all. I contacted Solomon about the damages. First thing off he tried to blame Austin for "bullying me into signing paperwork" which i IMMEDIATELY told him that was not the case, I was NEVER spoke to that way. I was really shocked the way he spoke about his crew! After 2 weeks of back and forth phone texts with sending multiple photos of the damaged grill, Solomon chose to ignore any talk about the grill and said he was going to "get a TV from Amazon and send it to us". I reminded him that he received a screen shot of the TV that was to be replaced and he said he didn't get any screen shots!! More back and forth and we decided to request that he just send us the money. He sent us a grand total of $499. All that being said, I would definitely not recommend doing business with SOLOMON SWEGAR. Buyer beware that you are giving your money to someone that has no respect for his workers and will take advantage of any and all loop holes to avoid replacing damaged items. This is my first negative Yelp review ever, but I felt strongly about shining a light on a shady guy!

We hired Almighty Movers for a confirmed move on November 22, 2025. The owner, Justin, personally confirmed the night before at 4:50 p.m. that a 4-man crew would arrive between 8:00-8:30 a.m. the next morning. He knew from my earlier email on November 13 that we had only three days to complete our move after our home closed on November 19, and that we had to be out that day to meet a strict contractual deadline. There was no flexibility at all, and he accepted the job with full understanding of this. One hour before the scheduled arrival time, I received a text from Justin that said: "Move will need to be postponed until Sunday. Hope that's okay." There was no phone call, just a text. I called immediately because postponing was not possible. He did not answer. I texted back explaining we had a hard deadline and needed the crew that morning. He replied briefly that he was "on it" and trying to find a smaller crew. That was the last communication I received. He did not return my call. He did not provide an update. No one ever arrived. At 10 a.m., after receiving no information at all, I asked for my deposit back. It was refunded through Venmo, but I received no message confirming the refund or acknowledging the situation. Communication simply ended. Because the cancellation happened with only one hour's notice, and because the company was fully aware of our immovable timeline, my husband and I were forced to complete the entire move ourselves -- including all packing, furniture, boxes, and garage/outdoor items. This was roughly 36 hours of professional labor we had to replace in a single day. I have lupus, and the physical strain triggered a severe flare. I was unable to work the following Monday, resulting in lost wages, along with significant physical pain and stress. The entire reason we hired movers and were willing to pay the $2,500 price tag, was because of my health limitations, and being abandoned like this caused us tremendous hardship. On November 25, I emailed the company with a detailed description of what happened and offered 14 days for a reasonable resolution. I received no response of any kind. I have since learned through the Oregon Department of Justice website that this is not the company's first complaint, something I truly wish I had known before hiring them. As someone who has worked in real estate, I understand how critical reliability is during a move, and I have notified colleagues so they can help protect their clients. I cannot imagine this happening to an elderly couple or someone without the physical ability to complete an entire move alone. I have filed formal complaints with: * Oregon Department of Justice * ODOT Household Goods Movers Enforcement * FMCSA * BBB My hope is that sharing my experience prevents another family -- especially someone medically vulnerable -- from going through what we endured.

The 2nd day, the owner disappeared for at least 1 1/2 hrs, did not state that he was leaving. The 3 individuals he had that day ran out of packing boxes and wasted time. We did not finish til 8 that evening & the storage unit is a nightmare. I left my husband and they didn't read 8 1/2 x 11 notes on cupboards & other areas, acknowledge labeling for what stayed there and what went. LEFT things behind and moved things to storage that were going to my new place & took things they shouldn't have. The storage unit is a MESS! I feel so very violated. Oh & then he charged me more!
