Had an early morning flight and wanted to eat before boarding. As I walked the concourse I discovered Harbor Grille and was able to grab a bite to eat without having to go too far from my boarding gate. Service was a tad bit slow to be early in the morning but the servers were hospitable and made a few recommendations. No extensive menu, but it had a bit of variety to allow you to ponder what you want to order. If applicable, they offer a military discount. My food was decent and if in a pinch, I'd stop by again for a bite to eat. read more

We had the boneless buffalo chicken tenders app (mild), which was very delicious (they nailed the texture and sauce), and I had the shrimp tacos; he had a chicken sandwich. I got an Abita Light draft beer (only because they didn't have Abita). Deducted one star for cost ($56 for our meal w/one beer) but it is airport dining so it's to be expected. I'll never know what the food is like at this place because the service is so bad that I gave up and left. There were three groups waiting to be seated, and the server ignored all of us completely in favor of telling a very lengthy story to some people whose order she was ostensibly taking, about her COVID diagnosis. Finally I and the family behind me sat down, only to be rudely told by the guy at the bar (who had also ignored us) that we had to wait for COVID lady. We all just left. I know this review won't matter because they're in an airport so they have something of a monopoly, but Firkin and Flyer, just a 5 minute walk away, is much better and treats their customers like human beings. read more

Harbor Grille is, by far, the best place to eat at the Baltimore airport. The service is stellar, the menu has enough variety to satisfy everyone and the food is well though out and prepared. I had a turkey club with rings and it was more than enough for an early lunch. I was happily given a box to take the rest of the sammy on the plane. My wife had the shrimp tacos and was happy with her choice. We don't fly out of the D terminal very often, but the next time I'm our there, I will know where to eat. read more

I just walked into Harbor Grill for lunch before my flight. There are 15 tables open...only half the restaurant was seated and there are 5 bar seats open as well. I stopped by here this past Friday afternoon for a later lunch with a coworker. We often fly through BWI and I was looking for something a little bit different and the Harbor Grille fit that. This is a bit of a tinier rectangle shaped place in the C concourse which has a bar on the one long side which runs almost the length of the restaurant with one row of tables in the middle and then booths on the other long side. For lunch on this day my coworker and I decided to start off by splitting the crab fritters. There were three decent sized fritters (almost crab cake sized) on a bed of some sauce which I never did figure out. The fritters were good though as they were fried to golden brown color and had a nice filling of some corn and crab which proved to combine for a sweet flavor. Then for my entree I went with the pesto chicken flatbread sans tomatoes. It had a good taste to it with an ample amount of chicken, pesto, cheese and red peppers. I think it probably would have been better with the acidity of the tomato to cut through it but I take full responsibility for ordering it without. The only thing that I didn't really like about the flatbread was the crust for it. It wasn't that the flavor was bad but it was thicker than any other flatbread crust that I have had before and so it was doughy and not thin and crispy like I was expecting. That also made it quite a bit more filling than I had wanted. The bottom line for me is that I might head back here again in the future. The Harbor Grille is a bit of a different restaurant (in a good way ) than most that you find at the airport read more

This place is decent for an airport. Personally I feel like BWI has the worst restaurant choices of the DC area airport.. but Harbor Grille was okay. Something that bothered me was that there was no prices on the drink list. So I asked our waitress about the wines and she said they all range between $10-12. That helps a little I guess. For someone who flys fairly frequently this was a great experience Started off with a gentleman taking my luggage and wheeling it to a table very unexpected and I've visited plenty of different airport restaurants and here it's been hectic and messy. The waitress taking care of me was friendly and quick, I got a burger with fries nothing fancy but delicious. Ordered the margarita labeled as a chihuahua and it's strong...perfect for those pre-flight jitters (only semi joking). I wasn't expecting too much being that it was an airport restaurant, but both the younger waiter and waitress were very attentive and friendly! I really wish we could have more dining experiences like that! It's almost unheard of nowadays. We really felt welcome and cared about. The food is of average price, but cheaper than I expected considering many airport restaurants are outrageously priced. My husband got the crab fritters and they were nice and full of crab and not a bunch of fillers! Not to mention, I really liked the design of the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here! Wow for an airport food it was great.... service fast. Good fast and very good. A true surprise!!!!!!!!

This place is a waste of time, money and human exsistence. First of all the restaurant had 7 people when we ordered. Second, all but 2 other people already had their food. Third out food took 30 minutes ( the waitress said that our food was taking long be as they made the chicken from scratch). Forth our food was terrible. I sent the chicken strip and waffles back and we took our BWI omlette to go. Not only was the omlette burnt but they couldn't give less of a crap about the way it was made. They also claimed to use local crab (BS). They took like 5 eggs burned them then threw marscapone cheese crab meat precooked shrimp and frozen spinach and folded it like a damned taco. The breakfast potatoes were fried to the point of stones. Even the bread was crappy. Brand spanking new. Convenient spot with large bar located near the C gates at BWI. I came off a late flight hungry and immediately saw this large open bar and dining room. There are large Tv screens behind the bar and on the walls. Charge up! All the seats at the bar have outlets. Full bar, decent variety of options on the menu. Friendly staff. Jason and Tiffany & co. took good care of me. I ordered the Salty Chihuahua which was fine, and the shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were spot on. Fresh, with the right amount of spice, the right amount of tang. Yum. Hearty but not heavy. Bonus points for the throwback jams and the live performance! I fly out of BWI for work frequently and typically stop at Harbor Grille for a drink before takeoff. Last time, I had a very early flight and stopped for a Diet Coke for some much-needed caffeine. I was one of three people in the place, and the waitress never offered to refill my glass. I threw a five on the table and went on my merry way only to be screamed at and chased down by the waitress accusing me of skipping out on the tab. The entire terminal stared as I explained that I had, in fact, overtipped her for a fountain drink. Out of bitterness, I refuse to return. read more

Was thinking oh no, here we go again! You know how it is when you go to an airport restaurant, captive audience! We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant with breakfast menus and had made our decisions we were told that they had just switched the lunch menu and she replaced our menus with lunch. Needless to say we had to peruse the menu again and sort out exactly what we wanted. By the way, the time of the menu change was at 10:30 AM. We were pleasantly surprised with the roasted squash soup and the chicken pesto flatbread! Both were terrific! Ordered their bottle Porter and they were out along with another bottle beer. I settled on a glass of the local draft IPA and my wife had a Bailey's and coffee that she raved about! Would have been four stars except for the flop early on. Was spending five hours at BWI waiting for flight home. Had plenty to read, but skipped breakfast. Found the gem on the C concourse at BEI. Staff is fabulous, food really good and the Music Choice Classic Rock station was on in the bar. Perfectly relaxing way to spend my wait from my return from marvelous cruise. read more

They were out of something needed for a drink I wanted to order, didn't have grilled chicken for me salad, and took 35 min for them to inform me that they forgot to make my salad! Harbor Grill refuses to serve BWI employees. Many of my coworkers would go to Harbor Grill for carryout lunch but they have a new policy of no longer having carry out service. It's sad as an employee that works 12 hr shifts, that we are refused service. Hope they change the policy. read more

Service was great and the place was very clean. Food was good; I had a chicken Caesar salad and chicken tenders. About three hours later (having eaten nothing else) on board my connecting flight, I started feeling sick. Stomach ache and a bit nauseous. No time to take care of it between landing and scrambling to make my final flight. After a cold sweat or two waiting for the plane to reach cruising altitude, I hopped up and made it to the lavatory before drink service. I then proceeded to evacuate my stomach and bowls...expeditiously. I'm sure it sounded like I was calling dinosaurs from outside the lavatory door. Landing at my final destination, I walked out onto the concourse and immediately got that achey feeling with chills to accompany. More bathroom time. Then I got my bags and rode away with a friend. Now, about 14 hours later and with yet more QT on the throne, the chills and aches and nausea have significantly abated to the point that I can write full sentences on yelp. Had a great experience at the Harbor Grille. Large portions and awesome prices. I really enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Don't be afraid of the siracha mayo - it was so mild and yummy that I asked for extra to dunk my fries into. The blue cheese slaw in the wrap was a great, fresh compliment to the spicy meat and gave only a hint of blue cheese to a great tasting sandwich. Wait and kitchen staff were amazing.
