It never fails. I go down as soon as the store opens on the day a coupon is valid and I ask if they have it in stock. "Sure, we have 3 in stock. Let me go check" Again I'll say it, it never fails. Out of stock. This has happened on numerous occasions. They have the Hercules brand but I want the Bauer brand that fits my batteries. Why even belong to there loyalty club? Nothing I'm looking for is ever in stock. Strike 2 in my book. read more

Usually find what I need, pointed in the right direction. I'm really surprised reading some reviews about poor service because over the years in and out I've never had a problem. Worst I can say is they didnt carry the 8 point sockets I needed once lol. read more

Friendly service and well organized location. We found everything we needed and they were located in easy yo find spots on the shelves. Both the staff on the floor and behind the register were helpful and nice. Can't beat that. read more

My husband stopped by the Visalia Harbor Freight store. Joseph was the cashier that waited on him. Joseph was so rude. At the end of the transaction my husband asked him to throw away the gift card that he had used. Joseph refused said they do not have public trash. This cashier needs to be retrained on delivering customer service. read more

I love harbor freight. As a DIYer they have great tools at a great price. What I like is that I can buy a tool at a lower price, see if I like it, and then sometimes I choose to upgrade. But really this strategy has allowed me to try so many different wood working and building tools that it has been quite rewarding! read more

There should be a NO star rating for whoever was managing the store on Friday April 10, 2020. Purchased a electric nail/staple gun on Thursday. Store does stock required nails to properly utilize my new tool. After hours of searching the needed item I was not able to continue working on my project. This morning I called and asked for a manager and received absolutely no help from him. Asked for corporate number and was told to go on line....basically after repeated asking for the number he insulted me and said I was nasty. After being in the customer service business for 38 years I would never insult or be rude. I asked for a number and he refused to give to me. He is rude/ unskilled in handling customers concerns/very unprofessional. This manager has no business handling customers......without customers you don't have a job! Will never step foot into a Harbor Freight store again. read more

It is what it is. If you need tools quick and don't have a lot of cash, then this is the place. I've seen bad reviews because they had to wait in line. Really? If you don't know how a line works, then you have bigger problems to worry about. I mean you get a complete wrench set for under $20 and you're going to complain? Seriously, it's a great store for what it is. read more

One of my favorite stores. Never expect every tool you buy to be top of the line and you will be fine. You can find some great deals and freebies with coupons. The employees I have dealt with are very nice, but they are not there to give you advice on everything in the store. read more

Great customer service and the workers are very friendly and helpful. I love the great deals I get there. Just love this Harbor Freight!!!! read more

Purchased an irrigation pump here. Very helpful and pleasant staff on the floor. When I unboxed it at home I discovered a used, nonfunctioning unit! Called the store and spoke with a manager (?) who apologized (apparently items are sometimes restocked instead of sent back?) and as there were no more in stock promised a replacement pump would be brought in from Fresno and be ready for pick up at 8am the following day. And to ask for the manager Anthony. I arrived at 9am to find no Anthony and no replacement pump. Not very professional. The one star clincher is that upon returning the non-functioning pump I was charged a $20 restocking fee! If you buy anything here beware the horrible management structure and open every box to check the contents. read more

Never ever ever ever ever going her again or any other cheaply made tool store like this unorganized clerks. I got into line to pay I guess there was a line in middle of the floor people told me so ok I wait in the middle while people cut in front of me like I have time for this forget this place I left never again just for some punches that prob wouldn't last a month go to amazon or eBay just make sure it's not pitsburgh. read more

Morning stop for some necessities. Store is clean, employees are nice, and ready to answer any questions you have.

Harbor Freight is like Toys r Us for men. I can't get out of there without filling my basket.

If you like tools this is the place for you to come and look ariund. I bet you your going to walk out with something. This place has so many good specials and deals on several different miscellaneous items. The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

$20.00 re-stocking fee? Really? What a joke. I shouldn't have to lose money to return an item that I changed my mind about. Especially considering I only had it a week maybe? Pretty annoyed. read more

Great place for beginners to start building a tool collection and people on a budget to buy a lot with a little. The quality is sometimes missing but for the price is worth trying. read more

Only 3 cashiers on a sat and each line has over 10 people... Managers need to step it up on weekends.. Just left to go to lowes..

I love this store! My wife always has to pull me out of the store or I will be in there for hours! Prices are great. This place is perfect for the emergency need a tool now type of situation. Yea they are not the best quality but you get what you pay for. They don't advertise having the best professional $13 heat gun or best professional $20 drill. But they do have a decent heat gun for $13 and a decent drill for $20-$25 a decent jigsaw for $20-$30. They have more expensive tools as well for the everyday use as well but not at these low prices. They have everything you need from beginner to professional DIYer! Their tools come with good warranties too and you can purchase extended warranties as well! They are great about no questions asked too! Wood working, metal working, auto body, auto mechanic, etc. give them a shot you'll like them and I bet you will come back for more! The store is always busy so keep that in mind. The sales are awesome too! Sign up for the coupons and save even more!!! read more

lines are way too long they have enough people to man the registers and they will not bring them out I stood there for 20 minutes trying to check out while two people were on the registers and they have 4 registers there were over 40 people waiting the manager would not come out of his office nor any other clerks from any other part of the store to get this mad rush out read more

MY receipt says" 2YR REPL 9.99 but it really is a One time replacement only. The receipt is not accurate and is very misleading. I don't think most folks would purchase the warranty policy if they were receiving the correct information on the receipt, VERY MISLEADING !!! read more

This is the place that we love to hate and still go there. When you need some damned tool that you're only going to use once or a few times at most and don't want to spend 5 times or 10 times more for a name brand one this is where you go. It's the disposable tool headquarters. And what's more sometimes there stuff is actually really good but you have to learn through experience what is good and what is junk. Soldering guns for instance are junk. The orange butane torches are downright dangerous as they blow apart. The drill bits are probably the best value in the whole store. read more
