Went to start up our evaporative cooler for the season only to find that the water line was leaking. Cue expletives. The tech we had just hired to brave the roof and get it going didn't have enough line in his truck to replace. Cue further expletives followed by frantic pleading and an offer to go buy some ASAP. But much to my surprise the queue was cleared in less than two minutes and I was on my way! The real kicker is that the pricing and selection were better than Lowe's! While clearly, this is normal for owners and managers of this Ace Hardware store, they clearly have no idea of the Progressive clientele of this uptown area.
