Bought The Snowplow shovel day before a recent storm. Horrible service and experience. Paid in…read moreadvance for a 36" shovel and the woman at the pick up counter tried to get me to take a 24". After catching that and finally getting what I had paid for, the 36", I should have realized something was off. Didn't think about it again until the night of the storm when I discovered as I was shoveling they hadn't assembled the shovel with correct hardware that actually comes with the shovel. Had only an half hour shoveling when the shovel blade fell off the handle. Next day I ordered one from Amazon, not only less expensive but with all the correct hex bolts, and locking nuts that are included with the purchase. I feel the wonderful people at this Ace Hardware really "screwed" me on the number of hardware pieces in the assembly - gave me wrong hardware (a few actual screws with nuts), not even close to what actually comes from the snowplow company. Left with a defective piece of very necessary equipment. A complete failure with I most needed to clear the driveway. As they say, buyer beware.

On 3/22/14, I called HD to see about an estimated arrival time on the delivery of my flooring. The gentleman who answered was named Jeff. He politely told me that there really isn't a time-frame except that I would get it today. I completely understood, but he was very apologetic about that particular policy. We then hung up and five minutes later, I got a call from Jeff. He said, 'Sir, I have located the driver and you should be receiving a call from him momentarily. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I really appreciate it". No Jeff, I really appreciate you! The BEST customer service I have experienced at HD. Way to go Jeff!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reached out months ago to resolve the issue and being passed from one person to the next and no resolution. Had countertops installed several months ago. I told the lady at the store the measurements were wrong she basically shut me down. No issues with the countertop. The store employees are great but the sales people are shady and the management is awful. DO NOT PURCHASE anything from them that requires a middleman or them being transparent or honest. they don't have the capacity to be decent human beings. I've found Lowes to be much more accommodating for my construction needs.
