We have always used Sherwin Williams and were pleased to find out that they had an outlet near us. Veronica the sales associate who assisted us was so friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions and provided us with color samples. The store has coffee, tea and cookies for the customers. They even had lollipops and Tootsie Rolls for kids who visited. It is always nice to give you business to local people. It is even better to have that personal touch even if you spend a little more. We will be getting our paint here.

After Behr paint failed me twice in the past few year I'm done. Now that Sherwin Williams own Valspar why not just used the actual real paint. Rated highest, cost can be a little higher but if buy it on a sale it's cheaper. The last sale was 30% and the one before was 40% all paints. I love Emerald for exterior because it goes on thick to cover some of my older homes age blemishes. Extreme bond primer might be overkill but it works great and give me confidence in a lasting paint job.

Lumber, paint, hardware, screws and nails, tools, gardening supplies, rental equipment for those larger projects, you name it! They also do chair and table rentals if you are throwing a party and need some extras! It really does feel like a family when you walk in there. There are numerous employees walking around, constantly asking how they can assist and make your experience at DMI better than it already is. Mind you, I don't need to learn. I'm an Ivy League educated who do in fact know how to measure. The refrigerator was 28 inches wide and 31 inches deep. My door is 30 inches wide. So, simple math, you can fit the damn fridge in there. You know how I know? Because my old fridge was the exact measurement you retard! I'm so disappointed how the delivery team treated me as a loyal customer for years! I've spent at least 50k on items I bought from Lowe's over the year for businesses and personal needs. I would say the value was incredible as they came in on estimate and did not oversell or overcharge me. In addition, they made recommendations for proper care of the exterior paint and home as we move into winter. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

The owner of the store really knows his products and he knows which furniture makers will make something custom without breaking the bank. The store had a Saloom Trestle dining table that we really liked, but we were shopping for a desk. This week our affordable custom desk arrived. Most furniture stores seem annoyed with a custom order, or they give you a crazy price to dissuade you. We will continue to support this local business.
