Really can't remember how I found this place, but I made it a point to drive down and try just about everything on their menu. We loved all of it. The only thing we didn't completely devour was the soup noodles because we were so full by the time we got around to it. Harbin Dumplings is located in a little food truck/cart park next to the water where there's sometimes also a taco truck, bbq truck and Turkish coffee, so there's a little bit of something for everybody. Don't skip the fried noodles or the pan fried buns (I think they're called). The noodles are perfectly chewy and the bits of cabbage mixed in really help balance out the flavor. The flat pan fried buns are SO JUICY. Make sure to also get the spicy sauce on the side. I should note that the food is greasy, so if you're not into that, I might reconsider. But I was so happy with my grease soaked napkins by the end of it and had plenty of leftovers to take home.

This is one of the new food stands in anacortes by the marina .The couple , shuli and Rick, operate this venue . They are happy to provide recommendations. We ordered the meat pies and pot stickers . Food is definitely authentic prices definitely reasonable . While their menu is limited , all their items are made to perfection. I highly recommend giving this place a shot .

An unassuming trailer parked in a gravel lot in downtown Anacortes is where you'll find a friendly owner operator serving up delicious northern Chinese cuisine. Each menu item is hand made from scratch including the dough for the noodles and dumplings. I'm

Good little food truck! There are only about 5 menu items. We got the spicy pork noodle soup and it was perfect for a chilly day. Seemed pretty authentic. We asked for it to be as spicy as possible and it still wasn't very spicy. Broth is thin and oily. Delicious.

Went to Anacortes today to run some errands, and while I was there I decided to look for something new. Found this place on yelp and knew I had to try it. The meat pies and dumplings are so good and juicy. They were really simple and fresh and the spicy dipping sauce was perfect. The first thing I noted, for anyone who likes to cook at home, was that the dough on the cooked dumplings smelled fresh. You can tell this is all from scratch. I was absolutely not disappointed, I got exactly what I was hoping for. Such a great find. I will be coming back!

Great Chinese dumplings made by a nice Chinese lady. We had each of the three types of dumplings she offers. They were all good. We visited Harbin, PRC earlier this year, and these dumplings are definitely in the same league as those we ate there in northern China. There's a little roped off area inside the shipyard fence where her food truck is parked. The signs are a bit confusing, but you can pull your car in next to the food truck while she prepares your order. There is no place to sit and eat. We stopped by a local market for some drinks, and ate our lunch at a local park.

Shuli and Rick are the nicest people. Stop on by and say, "Hello!" They are honest, hardworking, and the food is excellent too! Little pillows of heavenly goodness that is how I would describe the potstickers and meat pies. As an added bonus, the food is very kid friendly! My kiddo gave the food a thumbs up and it would have been two if his hands weren't busy quickly gobbling up his food. Authentic Chinese food with lots of meat in the pot stickers and the meat pie. The dough was fresh and delicious! I loved that it had lots of flavor. A fun lunch treat. We will be back!!

Noodle soup!

I was craving pork buns today and decided to make a trip out to this stand after searching on Yelp! It's located across the road from Safeway and in a small plaza with other food trucks. But WOW! I ordered the pork buns and the noodle soup and both were AMAZING! I would highly recommend getting some spice in the soup to add more flavor and kick, but the meatballs and broth were delicious regardless! The pork bun was tasty as well, not to mention that all menu items are handmade! Definitely going to go back for more! Would highly recommend!

Menu on a typical rainy day, but one that requires a parka.

Potstickers we're super juicy and flavorful. Noodles were also quite good. A bit pricey, but an unexpected surprise find in Anacortes!

We didn't get to try the pork buns, but the dumplings were really good. My daughter is a picky eater and she ate them right up.

Ask the Community - Harbin Dumplings

Will you ever do half orders of dumplings? Was so excited to try but I can't eat that many by myself.

Any vegetarian or vegan options? Thank you

An excellent question. Thank you. Vegetarian dumplings can be made special order in a large amount for a party, given a day's prior notice. We don't usually stock them. Many things can go inside a dumpling. Egg and green pepper are quite yummy.

I've been aware of the Seattle location because of the cute name, like mountain bao, but never visited. Lynnwood (Mill Creek) area is a bit more convenient, so decided to stop by. Kind service, mainly taking orders and dropping off food, but was pleasant. Green Beans - solid green beans! No meat but stir fried well. A bit pricey but a solid shareable portion. I'd love a version with some meat but I can appreciate being vegetarian friendly. Pan Fried Pork Bao - sadly no soup in this pan fried bao. I think there was too much bread because everything was very doughy while the actual pork was tiny in comparison. If there was more meat then maybe the extra large dough would be okay. On the bright side I guess this is a filling item with the carbs. Xiaolongbao - Unfortunately, 2 out of 8 XLB were ripped and the soup spilled in the steamer. Those ones were extremely sad and disappointing. However, even the remaining 6 XLB didn't have that much soup. I would skip the XLB here which sucks because the place literally has bao in the name. Shu Mai - tasty, hearty, comfy, and satisfies the craving perfectly. Large and scrumptious, as delicious as any dim sum spot. Highly recommend because I was shocked, not expecting much.

I meant to write this last week after visiting with my husband and I'm so glad I didn't forget…read morebecause this place truly deserves it. If you love dim sum, you have to try this spot. Everything we had was handcrafted, fresh, and served hot exactly what you hope for but don't always get. We ordered the sesame noodles, chicken sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf, chicken dim sum, shrimp & chive dumplings, turnip fry, and a tofu skin roll wrapped in a delicate rice paper-style sheet -all absolutely delicious. We also had a nice hot pitcher of tea that tied everything together perfectly. What made the experience even more special was the warmth of the people there. It's a cozy, family-owned, mom-and-pop kind of restaurant, and you can truly feel that care in both the food and the service. The boy and girl who took our order and served were very polite . You can tell this place is built with so much heart and hard work please show them some love, they really deserve it. We're already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend if you want authentic, comforting dim sum made with heart.

Most of them are quite justified as the filling is really packed! They do not skim on it so each bite is full of seafood or fillings. They are cooked to order so they come out nice and hot! Servers are attentive, came by a few times to check on us and offered water refill. The only downside is this place does not offer chilli oil which is essential for dimsum imo. The place is nice and clean and simple/minimally decorated.

There was very few waiters that were working that night making it harder to get the waiters attention. The food on the other hand was good and bad. I ordered the xiao long bao and it was very good. It was good, I had never had it before. The flavor was there, and adding the sauces made it much better. My friend had ordered the mama chicken lollipops. I think she was expecting something else and wasn't satisfied with the quality. She and asked if she could get it taken off the bill as she didn't eat any. I would love to go back and see what recommendations the restaurant has because we didn't know what to order.
