moved to the area recently and have been looking for a local coffee place and this one is right on…read moremy route to and from work and close to my home so convenient location. and it was open this evening when I needed a pick me up after work, so that was helpful too! I placed my order online (the fees and tax and tip made a $5 chai latte come to almost $9 though but I think that's just the area) and the woman working waited until I arrived to make it so that it wouldn't get cold. she was so quick though! and while I was waiting, I noticed some packaged French cookies that were vegan so I ended up grabbing some of those and they and the latte were both delicious! and the woman was very friendly and helpful. I think I've found my spot! I will definitely be back and am excited to check out the grocery store and other menu items.

Wake & Take opened in 2020 and was built to be more than that a café with a European feel that doubles as a true community space. And honestly, that's exactly how it comes across when you're there. The coffee is so good. Smooth, rich, and consistent every time. It's the kind of place where you stop mid-sip and go "okay yeah... this is it." And the treats? Just as strong. Everything tastes fresh, not overly sweet, and actually complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. You can tell there's real intention behind what they're serving. What really makes it stand out though is the vibe. It's warm, a little lively, and feels like a place people actually gather not just grab and go. Unless you want. Whether you're meeting someone, working, or just hanging out, it fits. This is one of those places that turns into a regular without you even realizing it. The extended hours are a plus.

But I was disappointed during my most recent visit when my cortado was made with cow's milk instead of the almond milk I ordered and paid extra for. I didn't realize until I'd already taken a few sips. The staff were kind and quickly remade the drink, which I appreciated, but I did end up feeling unwell for a few hours afterwards. It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!

My 12-year-old son has recently gotten into Dungeons & Dragons, and for his birthday we reserved a table here knowing that Enchanted Grounds welcomes tabletop RPGs. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about leaving my son and four of his friends somewhere new on their own for nearly four hours. Any concerns disappeared almost immediately. One staff member in particular, Paul, went above and beyond. The boys would not stop saying, "Paul is the GOAT." He checked in on them throughout their entire time there, helped them out whenever they needed it, and genuinely made them feel welcome. More importantly, he made me feel completely at ease as a parent. It's rare to find a business that not only creates a fun, inclusive space for kids but also earns the trust of parents so effortlessly. Enchanted Grounds Highlands Ranch has my respect and admiration. Thank you for giving my son one of the best birthday experiences he's ever had. We'll definitely be back.

The staff weren't all that friendly or interested in talking to customers. It definitely gives off humble, rainy day coffeehouse vibes and that's not a bad thing. Bright, tacky colored walls, one guy was sleeping in one of the booths, a giant group of 80+ year olds at the big community table, and gamers galore on a Wednesday afternoon. It's low key, wifi was fine, coffee was fine. Nothing stood out for me personally. Considering it's close to an hour away odds of me coming back aren't high. I wish them the best!

Although I didn't get pictures of the inside, there's plenty of seating but beware that the tables inside can be quite small for a group of 2 coming in to work or study. Make sure to come early enough to snag one of the tables with more chairs so you have more space. Also they are open really late. I believe it's 11 p.m. or 12 a.m. which is great! Make sure to check their website for hours. Otherwise, I really liked the ambience and the space so I'll definitely be coming back again.
