He has been very welcoming every time I stop in. He asked, what are my favorite styles and pointed me in the right direction. He has totally rearranged the whole place from the previous owners, giving the place a much more open layout. While looking around, Matt informed me I can always break off a single from any pack to build my own variety pack. That is perfect for me because that gives me a chance to taste a bunch of new things without committing to a whole six pack. Ale Yeah, also has about 8 - 10 to beers on tap. I can definitely tell he is trying to create a real community here with different events and specials. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are a beer lover and in the area.

Everything is well curated, clean, and you can tell they actually care about what they're putting out. Had the Little Ricky sandwich and yeah... that alone is worth the visit. Also love the vibe--laid back, friendly, and easy to just stop in, grab something good, and go. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

So unfortunately, I…read morecannot fake knowing what I am talking about when it comes to beer and the selection available at this location. I will say that I did a selection and price comparison to another growler store a couple of miles away, and The Beer Growler was not only cheaper, but it offered significantly more options. The store itself is a delightful hodgepodge of eclectic interior design - owls, interesting artwork, clearly labeled tap selection on a giant blackboard. But I must say the selling point of this particular location would have to be the service. It was serviced by an all-woman staff, and as a woman, this was a very attractive quality. These girls know about beer, and it was so refreshing to see women run the place because every other growler shop I have been to have been all-male staff. One thing I am not a huge fan of is the fact that we had to pay for samples. I haven't had to do that at other growler type shops. We ended up getting the Wild Heaven, which provided a lot for the money. One of my favorite beer is the KT Bourbon - excellent, rich, and so much substance to it. Will be stopping here again!

Food which is definitely elevated in both taste and variety from traditional pub food. We arrived at opening on Saturday and were glad we did because the place quickly filled up. We shared a flight of truly special beers (Brick Store has a casque mark certification). It was hard to choose a favorite. There was a 2016 La Trappe Quadrupel- strong and dark but smooth. Next was a 2018 barrel aged barleywine, then a 2021 mixed culture saison- sour and tart but flavorful, last was a 2020 raspberry lambic : acidic and sour but a wonderful sweet taste. It was fermented with wild yeast. The inside has a very quintessential old pub vibe. For lunch we ordered sage pierogis as an appetizer and the arugula salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and a scoop of flavorful chicken salad. Both were yummy. The only drawback was that our server seemed aloof and somewhat distant, which put a slight damper on an otherwise lovely experience.
