I must admit that I am not a beer connoisseur, but more of a beer apprentice. So unfortunately, I…read morecannot fake knowing what I am talking about when it comes to beer and the selection available at this location. I will say that I did a selection and price comparison to another growler store a couple of miles away, and The Beer Growler was not only cheaper, but it offered significantly more options. The store itself is a delightful hodgepodge of eclectic interior design - owls, interesting artwork, clearly labeled tap selection on a giant blackboard. But I must say the selling point of this particular location would have to be the service. It was serviced by an all-woman staff, and as a woman, this was a very attractive quality. These girls know about beer, and it was so refreshing to see women run the place because every other growler shop I have been to have been all-male staff. One thing I am not a huge fan of is the fact that we had to pay for samples. I haven't had to do that at other growler type shops. We ended up getting the Wild Heaven, which provided a lot for the money. One of my favorite beer is the KT Bourbon - excellent, rich, and so much substance to it. Will be stopping here again!

Beer in large jugs is not a new concept in Georgia really. in 1982 or so I lived in Albany GA and…read moreworked at Wendys. After a shift working with soul-crushing low-IQ managers we would go to the trailer across the street and buy a gallon of Meister Brau freshly tapped into a plastic jug. That beer jug got me through a bad time. Luckily we don't do that anymore. The Beer Growler is nothing like those dark days. Here you will find 35 or so of the best beers available in Georgia ready for you to take home in 32 or 64 ounce bottles. You can spend a little or a lot but you can surely get something really tasty. Go for it!

A tremendous selection, plain and simple. You walk in and immediately see aisles of spirits lined…read moreup like they're auditioning for a very organized parade of booze. Whiskeys, vodkas, gins. Local names that are easily recognizable, national staples and a few international bottlers that make you pause and think, maybe today's the day that I try something new? The wine section keeps the same energy, rows and rows arranged so neatly that you almost feel bad disturbing them. Then comes the long stretch of coolers, humming quietly and packed with cold beer. Macro labels, imports and a surprisingly deep lineup of Atlanta breweries that make you feel like you're getting a quick tour of the city's taprooms. At the end, a cooler full of non-alcoholic beers. This isn't some token shelf, but a real selection which is honestly great to see. And if you're including, there's a small cigar corner tucked in. We were stocking up for a day of college football, which made this stop feel essential. The folks working here were friendly, the prices were fine, and there's a customer program you can join. The discounts apparently can't apply to alcohol which is likely a state law doing its thing, but you can redeem them at the CBD shop next door, which is a quirky little twist. All in all, a solid spot when you need options, organization, and a quick path to game-day supplies. [Review 1332 of 2026 - 976 in Georgia - 26511 overall]

I walked past the main register and took a left to the beer section. Their selection is massive!! There are multiple aisles to explore in addition to the whole back wall of refrigerated cans and bottles. All styles are well represented. If you are looking for wine or liquor, they definitely have that covered, as well. I would definitely recommend this location.
