Their customer service was amazing -- they responded right away and had my Fetch & Go cake ready for pickup exactly on time. My dog loved the oat cake and happily munched away at it. One thing to note for anyone doing a reveal cake: the center is filled with colored flakes rather than traditional blue or pink frosting. It also took my dog quite a while to reach the middle because of the texture -- the cake itself was pretty thick and on the drier side, and the frosting was firm (which I totally understand since it's not like human-grade cakes). Because of that and the small number of flakes, the reveal color wasn't super vibrant. Overall, I still had a great experience and would definitely use Happy Tails Barkery again! read more

The cutest place for all of your fur babies. I stopped in for one of our Dobermans sixth birthday treat. They have cakes available for purchase both customizable and premade generic. So many different treats toys and accessories to spoil them with. They also make the cake cakes with both wheat and oat flour since Dobermans have sensitive stomachs. This is our second time purchasing a Fetch & Go! Cake for our dog's birthday. I will continue buying because my dog and his fur guest enjoy them plus they are beautiful. You can walk in the store and they have them ready to go. They have a variety of different colors for the "happy birthday" writing. You are able to customize the color and writing but you need to give them a 48 hour advance notice at no extra cost.I loved that they are baked from scratch with no preservatives added. The gentlemen at the counter informed me the cakes are frozen and to put them in the fridge the night before. 4.5/5 A happy tale of happy tails! Recently my little pup celebrated his adoptaversary with us. It's been 10 years of snuggles, cuddles and the requisite woofs, wiggles and wags. I wanted to get him a little something extra special for his special day so I headed to our nearby Pet Planet where they were selling "Fetch and Go" Happy Tails Barkery cakes. They looked absolutely adorable and so well crafted. The toddler was very excited as well and even though it was a dog cake it looked so good she wanted a piece too. We settled for letting her put the candle on the cake and having her blow it out for my dog. Note that the frosting on these cakes isn't soft like your typical human grade frosting. It's pretty hard so we needed to poke a hole in the frosting with a chopstick before placing a candle on it. The taste? No complaints from my pup! I haven't seen him wag his tail this much in ages lol. Feeling the oat flour based cake, it was very soft and a bit crumbly. The only negative is that while looking at the ingredients list later, I noticed that towards the end of the ingredients they use titanium dioxide, a chemical considered safe by the FDA here in limited quantities but banned in the EU due to potential DNA damage and accumulative effects in the body after ingestion. Since it's listed at the very end, it's the smallest quantity out of all the ingredients in the cake but take that as you will for your doggo's safety. For your reference, as of 8/2022 their Fetch and Go cakes contain: -Cake: Oat flour, eggs, honey, peanut butter, vegetable oil, coconut, plant-based colors. -Frosting: Dehydrated yogurt cultures, non-fat milk powder, modified tapioca starch, egg whites, granulated rice, titanium dioxide.
