She treats your dog as if he was her own and sends you daily updates (via email or text) with pictures, reassuring you that your dog is in great hands and doing well. Most recently, my dog Prince stayed with her for a week - the longest he's been away from home - and his birthday fell during that stay. She baked him the most adorable doggie cake for me to take home to celebrate when I got back, and also got him a Prince crown cookie with his name on it and sent me pics of him in a party hat! He also got a solo walk to PetSmart with Norm to pick his own toy, and an egg for breakfast - one of his favorite foods to eat! I am always blown away by how caring and loving they are and it makes me feel so much better if and when I have to travel, knowing that Prince is in good hands! I adopted him when he was 4 years old, and he had been owner surrendered at a shelter so the thought of boarding him at a kennel just made me so upset. I found her on Yelp and Prince has stayed with her 3 times so far, and I can't say enough great things about Samantha and Norm. 100% recommend them to anyone who wants a home away from home for their dog while they're away. She even checks in periodically, especially right after the stay, to check in on my pup and make sure he's doing well! And the first few visits, she even provided a wonderful take home bag with toys and homemade treats for Prince. So incredibly sweet and well priced. And much better than the options I've seen on DogVacay, which can be $50-75/night for minimal supervision! I'll be back the next time I go out of town!

Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

They were particular about the way his food was packaged, no big deal but tell me that when I make the appointment. Like send an email or something with "to do's". I've always put his food in a single gallon zip lock bag when I've dropped him off but this was the only time it was mentioned. No biggie but they could be on the same page or consistent with what they want. When I picked my pup up, it smelled badly in there and on the cameras, the dogs seemed to be unhinged. He came out extremely high energy, still well from the bath they gave, but very thirsty. When we got in the truck, I let him drink out of my water bottle and when we got home I filled his bowl 3x in 10 mins with water. Later that day he had the poops which lasted 3 whole days. Randomly runny poop throughout the day which he hasn't had since he was 6 months old. Not sure if they booked too many and were less attentive but again, this time was different. Still gave 4 stars because this is the first time out of all of my visits that this has been an issue but for $450 (this includes the $57 tip I left) things could've been better.

The girls get groomed here on their regular days which is super convenient since it takes something off our list of things to do. Plus, I have one dog who is scared of the clippers, but she already trusts Ms. Deborah so she's doing better with grooming. We have done several boarding visits too. I love that the girls don't have to spend time in crates when we are away. Neither of my dogs does well in a crate. I know they are safe, well cared for, and being loved while we are away. I can't relax worrying about my dogs- so I really appreciate this. If you are looking for the newest, fanciest building in town for your dog to stay in. This isn't your place. But Fluffy's has put me so much at ease as Huey seems to love it there! He is typically boarded there as the drive is a little far to drop him off before work, but it's well worth it if I ever need to. Each time he comes home, he is always fully worn out and naps the rest of the day. One of my favorite things about Fluffy's is their report cards they send out. Each report card includes a couple pictures as well as some demeanor descriptors. It helps me feel more at ease seeing how much Huey is enjoying his time at Fluffy's, as well as knowing how he is behaving in daycare or during boarding.
