I went to the location on Palm Bay road. I went in for eyebrow waxing when i went in and asked the lady had a weird vibe and i almost left but i second guessed myself being in sensitive mode. Big mistake. Horrible service horrible job on my brows then tried to charge me $15 when advertised price is $10. When i asked her about it she said she trimmed too which is included in the price. Crazy! She was still mumbling about it when i left and why i tipped her i am sure is because i was not with it! Don't walk away run!!! Had mani/pedi/wax. Have to say the worst mani pedi ever. Just to top it off when I finished I was looking for a trash can to throw away the toe spacers and shoes to throw away. They actually took them from me and put them back in a drawer. They are reusing everything. How unsanitary that place is. Both mani/pedi were more like just a change of polish. They did not do much more. Had to ask the guy to add more gel and and get to the edge since he was done after the second coat. Used one polish dip for 2 nails. Still didn't get to the edge. What a horrible job. The wax was the same. Dry cotton ball to clean the lip, put on 2 strips, peeled it back and did no more. Stay way. Health should be a major concern there. read more

Was a little wait to get my brows waxed but they did what they needed to do and did a fabulous job!

Ugh, I wanted to enjoy a nice afternoon with my daughter, we enjoyed our time together, but this place was terrible. No greeting when we walked in, dirty seats, limited color selection, no customer service, I sat and waited for someone to take my payment, made eye contact and said I wanted to pay for 20 minutes, but no one would help me. Two people completely ignored me and looked the other way. My daughter's tech made a phone call in the middle of her treatment. My guy was friendly at least, but immediately went to work on someone else and didn't take my payment (hence the reason I was forced to wait and had to keep asking). Then, my daughter's flip flops weren't put on before the paint, so when the tech finally came over to finish the job and put her shoes on so we could leave, her shoe messed up the paint and it took another 15 minutes to fix the job. I went to Happy Nails for a pedicure and powder manicure. I was wildly disappointed with both. My toes had polish all over my toes and some were cut at an angle. There was miscommunication between technicians and the color painted on my nails was not consistent with the color on my toes. I admit that I've never had my nails with dip powder before. However, there was no care for my cuticles and the paint seemed incredibly uneven near the cuticle and nailbed. The texture is inconsistent and some nails look more rough than others. I sent photos to all my friends who had dip powder nails before and they agreed that it was a sloppy job. When I went back to see if they would make it right, they agreed to redo my toe nails, which I do very much appreciate. But I spoke to two separate people who saw no issues with my fingernails and said "that's just how did powder nails looks. This is your first time." I am angry because I did not feel my concerns were heard. I would have let it go if they could acknowledge why I was unhappy. But they refused. I will never go back to Happy Nail and I strongly suggest you avoid it. Will also accept recommendations in Melbourne for the quality, dependable nail salons. read more

Update November 2019: I changed my star rating because it is posted that they open at 9am however no one was there to open the door until almost 9:10. I parked at 8:55 yesterday and watched a client and employee stand outside until the owner arrived. Additionally, the tech doing my pedicure was moving my foot into uncomfortable positions that bothered my knee. Beauty is pain, right? Today was the worst experience I have ever had with a nail salon. I felt violated. The guy that was doing my nails kept jerking my hands around and he filed my nails down to the skin. I stood in the entrance for 5 minutes while 3 technicians continued working. No one acknowledged me or said anything. Another person came in. The man in the back stood up and acknowledged the new person and told her to come sit down in the chair for a pedicure (I too was there for the same). I don't typically leave reviews but felt inclined to warn others about my experience at this establishment. I was in town visiting my parents and wanted to get my nails done before family photos that afternoon. I got the standard mani/pedi. The pedicure was mediocre at best. My technician didn't ask if I wanted to cut my nails down or if I wanted to file. When I asked her to cut my toe nails down, she nearly cut my toes off. The color application on my toes were less than desirable but I was in a rush so didn't say anything. The manicure was when things took a turn for the worse. I started by showing the technician a photo of the shape I was interested in achieving. The tech started to file my nails then proceeded to use the dremel on my nail beds, all the while trying to up sale me to a gel manicure. Not only was the shape completely wrong and different on each nail, my nail beds were incredibly damaged by the harsh machine filing. When it came time to cut my cuticles, the tech nipped me and I flinched, then she proceeded to go back to the same finger and make the cuticle bleed. She placed some green solution on the cut and instead of addressing it and attempting to stop the bleeding, continued to paint my nails. Mind you, my cuticle did not stop bleeding for 3 hours after this service. When she was "done" the polish was all other my fingers, cuticles, and poorly applied. It looked like my 6 year old cousin painted it. I asked her to clean it up but she kept telling me to go to the drying station. I asked if I could speak to someone (thinking my request got lost in translation) and she started taking my nail polish off. That's when I nearly lost it. Sadly, I didn't get the tech's name as she did not introduce herself or wear a name tag. I walked out of there with 8 painted nails and a massive cut. read more

Well, I went here twice. The first time I went, I gave them benefit of the doubt. I told them I had a latex allergy, they refuse to do my pedicure. They actually told me, next time to bring my own gloves. I had my husband bring some gloves from our house, because they refuse to do my pedicure without gloves. They did a great job so I figured I will go back, since its minute's from my house. Well, yesterday I went back. Refill, pedicure and eyebrows. OK I feel kind of bad because I normally go to another place and one day they were closed and I came here and I must say they did such an amazing job that I came back here again and they did an amazing job again!! I think I'm going to switch but I feel bad. Both places do a good job but this one is absolutely 10 times better and they have more color choices and they offer you water bottles and pull out the chair for you to sit down , they also are open to doing designs! Whatever it takes ! They are so nice .. i mean the customer service is 100% and they are very thorough with your nails all at the same price of the other places for acrylic and gel it's $40 for a fill and gel $30 I would've got a pedicure if I had more time and money. Brian was the man that did my nails and he was amazing... hmm I'm using the word amazing too much but either way he was accurate, clean, cut the dead skin and cuticles, put my nails from each finger side by side to make sure they were the same length and went over everything several times. This place was good when it opened, but has continued to decline. Some of the techs are rude and sneaky. Always trying to get more money out of you. Appointments mean nothing to them sometimes. Recently I made an appointment with Sue, who I have had since they opened. When I got there, they said she was not there so someone else would have to do my fill and pedicure! This was not the first time she had done this to me. I don't like that, as I made an appointment to avoid getting someone I don't know and risking wasting my money on a crappy job. Well, sure enough one of my nails broke the very next day. I couldn't go back that day, but went back a few days later and Sue waited on me. I only wanted one nail fixed, even though none of them looked good. She proceeded to look at them and shake her head and say. "I do over for you". Obviously, I thought when she said she would do them over for me, she meant for no charge since she was not there the day of my appointment and the other one did a crappy job. She rushed through them as I was in a hurry thinking I was only going in there to get one nail fixed. Before she put the polish on she had the audacity to ask if I was going to pay with cash or credit! I was astonished that she would have the nerve to charge me full price again after she said she would do them over! I have been a good customer since this place opened. I never complain, I'm always on time for my appointments, have recommended them to many people and always tip well. Even before this incident I brought my elderly mother with me one day and they cut her finger so badly that she would never go back there again. Believe it or not Sue saw my poor mother's finger bleeding badly and still charged her full price on the way out. I took a photo that day and will post it. I have given this place the benefit of the doubt time after time, but no more. I hope that last money that Sue got out of me was worth it to her because she has lost my business and anyone else that I can tell. read more

Their customer service is horrible. I went for a wax and saw three different people (the first woman left to begin a pedicure rather than take care of me as a client, the second was an inexperienced male who had no idea what he was doing, and the last woman did the complete opposite of what I asked when waxing my eyebrows). I asked the woman to only "clean" my eyebrows and she said "okay, I shape". I repeatedly explained to her to only clean my brows, I like them thick, and asked to see my brows in a mirror as she worked on them. The woman said "don't worry. I do for you" and ignored my requests. I nearly cried at the aftermath. I asked to see a manager and was told Sue wasn't there because she was busy. I got a number to call and haven't been able to reach the owner once. These employees have very limited English skills, do not listen to customer's requests, and are very unprofessional. This salon only wants your money and not your satisfaction. This was the most terrible salon experience I have ever experienced in my life. read more

I understand that we are under a quarantine and these people didn't want to work here but the person who did my nails made it very difficult for me. I made the mistake of not going for my fills to my regular guy, and Sunday came and my gel nails needed help ASAP. I walked in never having been here before. Place was clean and they gave me a bottle of water. Downhill after that. My Ombre gel fills were done with my fingers literally dipped into the powder and then excess flicked off. He managed to screw up the process which caused fungus growth . My regular guy just had to remove everything, and now my nails are recuperating. DONT GO TO HAPPY NAILS. You won't be happy. read more
