I have been to this nail salon twice and I am planning to continue coming here. The first time I made an appointment on line and I was seen immediately. This time I just walked in and while I was seated quickly and given a warm foot bath right away, I did have to wait a bit. Makes sense to make an appointment if you can and it's really easy to do on their website. You can even choose your technician!

While you might wait a little, which is true for all these places, it is worth it. They do a beautiful job!

Another subpar experience here. I had limited time to run to get a pedicure so came here (vs the…read moredowntown location). I got the most classic pedicure on the menu (forget the name). The pedicure was inconsistent - for example, a hot towel on my left leg but not my right. The bristle brush on my right toes but not my left. Maybe the tech was distracted? The actual polish looks fine. The tech was also trying to push other services (ie manicure, wax, etc) which i totally empathize they are a business, but after the first two no's, I'd hope I didn't have to keep fielding no's? Ruined the relaxation of the service.

I was told it was $53, plus an extra $5 to take off an existing dip - which I thought was annoying, but I went anyway. The service itself was pleasant, place was empty, they gave me a glass of wine. However, when I went to pay I was also charged $5 for "trending nail shape". I went in with round, natural looking nails, and that is what I asked for today. I was told that anything other than square was a "trending nail shape"... although last time I checked, nails don't grow square naturally? They were trying to make the argument that it was more work to file the nail. And acted like they did me such a favor putting a tip on one of my nails that broke. So I'm confused what the $53 price even includes. Anyway, my regular dip mani was $63 for no good reason - which is way more than any other prices I've seen even downtown or Mt. P. I don't think this place is worth it and will continue my quest for the perfect nail salon... sigh.

Before the YELP event for Charleston, wax girl, I had never gone to a waxing location. I love the studio and how it is decorated, Peaceful, and serene yet fun. Brittany is lovely to talk to and makes you feel completely at ease, no matter what services you are getting. She's getting ready to go on maternity leave, but will be back mid August. I like Brittany and Charleston wax girl so much, I drive all the way to West Ashley from North Mt. Pleasant!! Even if this is my only appointment, I still come just for this. Highly recommend coming to visit Brittany after she gets back from maternity leave!!

I went to a Yelp event here once and got $50 off a wax. Brittany did a great job then so I figured I'd give her another shot. I got there and was pleasantly surprised when I quickly found out that she remembered who I am. She asked me how I was doing, and when I answered, she made a comment that was related to what we talked about last time. She definitely remembered me. I mentioned that and she said she remembers everybody! She's been waxing for years too. She is new to Charleston, but she waxed in New Jersey for a while before moving here. Come check out her space. The outside has a cool mural that looks like a monopoly board but made with Charleston related things like the Arthur Ravenel Bridge and the Pineapple Fountain. You go thru a door on the ground level that leads to a set of stairs. The suite is on the second floor. It's a cute little room she rents out in the building. I like the way she waxes me. She is a pro! Both times she waxed me so far, I haven't gotten any ingrowns. I get them a lot, so that's a great achievement. I would definitely recommend hiring Brittany to do your next wax. You can book online. It's very easy and you even get reminder texts. Help this nice woman from New Jersey build up her business in Charleston. Come see her for your next wax.

My review is kinda split, let me explain why. The…read morebuilding/salon is a large space, with lots of individual suites inside. They are all numbered, which makes it easy to locate the one you need. The building is locked at 6pm, so if you have an appointment after hours, you have to have a code to get in, or someone has to come let you in. It says that you can "check in" online and be sent a code or a staff member will come retrieve you, which I did, but did not receive a code. I was notified that my staff member was notified of my arrival and would be with me shortly. So I suggest making an appointment before 6pm to prevent any confusion/wait. I easily found the suite (2012), which just as an FYI: if the door is closed, it is locked, and they are with a client. Amouriona was my aesthetician and there is one other person that works with her, but as it is a single suite that can only manage 1 client at a time, they have alternate schedules. She was very nice and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. She asked about allergies, etc before placing any products afterward, and provided advice on aftercare. I have been getting routine waxes for a couple of years now, but I will say that this was less painful than my usual experiences, which is appreciated! Overall, it was a good experience other than the confusion at the beginning with the building being locked and I would go again.

I get waxed regularly every 5-6 weeks and have for years and she left a lot of hair behind on my Brazilian. If you just need a quick inexpensive wax that's what you're going to get, it's not the most experienced waxer and the entire space is just one room in a salon suite.

I went to Koniver Aesthetics for AviClear laser treatments. I had been suffering from acne for over a decade and I was told this would "cure it", or I would get my money back. I was also informed that it would take up to a year to see the results. After a year my skin was still terrible. At this time I was told by Koniver Aesthetics that it could NOW possibly take a year and a half. Obviously this was upsetting, but I waited. Around 18 months after the procedures my skin seemed to be worse than ever. I was livid. I reached out to their team and I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I wanted to get on social media and write bad reviews for the establishment everywhere I could possibly find. Though, I was so depressed I didn't even have the motivation to do that. So why am I speaking out now? Well, I was wrong when I initially thought my skin was worse than ever. I spent thousands of dollars and waited 2 years to see results. My skin never improved, in fact I am pretty sure in the last couple of weeks I have reached the pinnacle of disgust with the state of my skin. I am crying as I write this and I thought maybe after spending $3000 + at this business, there might be something they would be willing to do. Also, I happened to have an interview for a position at Koniver Wellness last month and I was told that the owner was a kind person. I thought that maybe that was a sign and reaching out can't hurt. All I can ask is if there might be SOMETHING they would want to do to remedy the situation. I sent them basically the same message as I have written above and they actually did respond asking if I wanted to come in .... almost a month ago. I said I would like to. I have not heard back since. My diet has not changed. My health is good. I get every acne product that aestheticians suggests and facials from other facilities all the time. I do EVERYTHING I can to take care of my skin. This successful business took over $3000 dollars from me and now has stopped responding to me.... Below is what I look like now. I would like my money back.
