I loved how the crunchy apple contrasted the slab of Brie on the turkey sandwich, and the roasted garlic aioli brought a great savory balance. The roast beef sandwich was pretty spicy and I loved the slight smokiness of the provolone. We left very satisfied and with leftovers. I acted as my own parent here and said: "OK, now you can buy one thing here, just ONE!" Also, when you buy from the bulk bins, the very-sweet candy lady gives you a handful of candy to sample. You know, to juice up for your run. Duh.

The prices are also higher than before the change in ownership and the competition. For example they sell regular and organic bananas for 79 cents and 99 cents a pound. Whole Foods sells for 69 cents and 89 cents. I'll go to Tony's in a pinch if I desperately need something because it is walking distance but usually prefer to drive elsewhere where I get better quality for the same or slightly better price.
