I like stopping here since it never too busy, service is super quick, and close by when I'm craving boba. The staff is friendly and quick with service. There's lots of seating and great place to study since it pretty quiet along with a drive-thru if you don't want to come inside to order. They have all types of boba drink from milk tea, smoothie, and tea along with bubble waffle which is made fresh. I recommend getting strawberry cheesecake smoothie and a bubble waffle. Though I do recommend adjusting the sweetness level as regular sugar is super sweet along with their tapioca pearl being too soft and not chewy at all. We went through the drive-thru and ordered the D5 boba milk tea with cream puff, the C2 lemon black tea, and a bubble waffle. The drinks and waffle were alright, not amazing, but decent. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the service. The employee wasn't friendly and, worse, she deliberately covered the no-tip button on the keypad, essentially forcing us to tip at least 15%. That felt really off, especially since we didn't customize anything and just ordered through the drive-thru. Definitely left a bad impression, not sure if I would come back as the Katy location is much friendlier. read more

This was their grand opening weekend, I came on an Easter Sunday. They had the BOGO so I decided to get four drinks to try. I arrived at 11am on the dot right when they're just opening and the lines were outside the door but it moved quickly & I was able to get my drink within 7 minutes. What I like about this location versus the other Bellaire location is that it has a drive thru, the inside is more spacious for you to sit down and enjoy your drink & they have outside seating as well. Here's what I ordered. * Passion fruit green tea- refreshing, good for a hot summer day. Maybe tone it down on the passion fruit syrup because it makes the tea flavor weaker. 3/5 * Strawberry green tea- it was fine but they added too much strawberry purée which made the tea flavor weak. 2.5/5 * Mango lemon slushy- I was expecting a combination of mango/lemon flavor but it was just chunks of mango. It was more of lemonade drink with diced mangos. Also when I received my drink it wasn't a slushy anymore, maybe add more ice when you're blending it together. They did hook it up on the mango though & the drink was delicious. Good amount of tartness. 4/5 * Classic milk tea- out of all drinks that have tea flavor, this one was the strongest. This was a textbook made drink. Creamy & I can taste the tea. 4.5/5 Overall, it was a fairly decent experience, the service was quick considering how busy it was. Great place if you like citrus based teas/drinks, they have other choices for non-citrus lovers also! The line was long but the service was efficient enough to keep the line moving and this was during opening day. I'd say that's a positive 1st impression. They're opened!! Another Happy Lemon spot in Houston? Count me in. They have a BOGO deal this weekend for their grand opening (04/08-04/09). Plenty of customers on their opening weekend definitely did not deter the quality of this boba shop chain. I ordered the Passionfruit Mango Green Tea with boba and it was super refreshing. They use real passionfruit (yay!) instead of just syrup, so you really get the fresh passionfruit taste. The boba was chewy with just a hint of sweetness. Overall, such a great addition to this area! It's their second location off of Bellaire, but just a little farther west near highway 6! read more

I was afraid of a strong dairy taste when I ordered the strawberry matcha latte, but to my surprise, it was very refreshing and just right. For the kumquat honey lemon green tea with lychee jelly, it was a bit on the sour side, and regrettably I should've went for 75% sugar instead of 50%. I was visiting my family for a week and tried to get boba daily so I'm lucky this was one of the closest spots and it was always fast, correct, and well-made. This last time I ran out of things to try and the Sunday night crew made me up something on the spot with my parameters (no caffeine, super lemony, not a smoothie) and they nailed it (B2, sub wintermelon, extra lemon). Got jasmine green tea with salted cream cheese topping -- 25% sweet. The topping was delicious, but the tea was sooooo bitter! I asked to have it remade (was thinking a milk tea might cut the bitterness. Instead they tried to convinced me this it was bitter because of reduced sweetness. I get this type at every boba place and usually it's just fine. They insisted it was just because of sweetness level. I let them add more sweetness-- so now I have a really butter and really sweet jasmine tea. Not a fan :( My kids got different types and did like theirs. Service - mediocre... not overly friendly. Happy Lemon is awesome! I came by during the Grand Opening weekend and today again as well. I was very excited to have a new drinks place nearby since Kim's Teahouse is the closest we have in the area and I always hoped we'd get a new place with a drive-thru which now we have with Happy Lemon! I hadn't tried Happy Lemon before but so far the drinks seem to be okay. I tried the F10 Strawberry Shortcake and it's so tasty! I wish they'd put more of the Puff Cream in the cup though, so you'd get more of the Shortcake taste.
