The massage itself was okay but it was the place itself that brings down its rating. The rooms have very old and smelly furniture.

Anybody know if these poor workers do actually get their tips? When i was done, i handed my masseuse her tip. I paid @ front, receptionist ask if i wanted to leave a tip. Told her i gave it to them, her tone changed and went to the back as we left.

I always tip before leaving the spa room. How can you not tip these hard working people?

The 'foot massge" is actually full body with your clothes on in a very quiet, darkened communal room.

My husband booked me an appointment as an early Valentine's Day gift and I'd never visited before…read moreso I was very excited. From walking in through the end of my service, I had the best time. The lady at the service desk was extremely friendly and helpful, and my massage therapist was very knowledgeable and precise with her massage techniques. I especially loved the heating pad on the massage table throughout the entirety of my massage and the hot towel that was placed under my neck when laying on my back. I enjoyed my experience so much in fact that I signed up for the membership. I'm always looking to book a massage for my sore muscles from the gym, and I'm excited to have found such a great place so close to where I live.

Where do I start. I purchased a gift card for my boyfriend's birthday for a couples massage. We…read morecalled to schedule the massage and it was a headache for them to even find a day and time for us. When we finally had an appt set we were called on the day of our appt, 20 min before our arrival time, & informed they had to cancel!! And once again it was a headache for them to reschedule us, they had NO time slots over the next few months. We finally booked an appt a year and a half after getting the gift card. We arrived early, waited and only one of our therapists were in the vicinity, the other was still on lunch. He finally strolls in, LATE. The rooms aren't very nice at all, looks like you're in someone's basement. They offered aroma therapy, they spray a tissue with essential oils and place the tissue under your nose. Not very "spa" like, where is the diffuser? Again, felt like a Craigslist ad massage vs an established business. One of the therapists coughed the entire time. We wanted to get up and leave. The other made a very unprofessional comment about my boyfriend's shoulder injury. We left feeling tense vs relaxed. Not so great experience, not so great ambiance, not so great massage. Zero out of 10, do not recommend.

I guess I've always been a fan of massage therapy though I don't go very often-over the years I…read moreprobably go about 2 or 3 times a year-When I do go I always tend to go to New Happy Day Spa in Natomas located on Natomas Crossing. Well last week was one of those times-my wife and I have been going here for probably over 6 or 7 years-for sure long term customers-she goes much more than I do,averaging about once a month. When we 1st started going here,we both realized the value of buying either the 5 pack or the 10 pack of the discounted massage tickets-they are a pretty decent value, especially if u pay with cash-I tend to go with just what they call the "Foot Massage" and those tickets run for 5 of them for $215.The wife goes with "Body Massage" and those got for $260 for 5 tickets-each tickets gives you 1 hour of your designated massage. Not terrible price for either, $43 or $52 an hour.Compared to the prices that other places offer for an hour of massage,I feel it's a pretty good deal. After being a patron at this establishment for so long, the wife and I have for sure developed of preferences of massage therapists there. We are both big fans of "Kelly" and we both tend to ask for her availability whenever we call in for an appointment.Of course when we are going at the same time,I let my wife have the session with Kelly,so that has led me to have experienced many of the other therapists who are employed there. So I could say with pretty good confidence that I've never had a bad experience with any of the others, maybe some are a big stronger than others or maybe some have better techniques but overall I would say they are all pretty good at what they do. One thing I wanted to talk about is the difference between a foot massage and a body massage at this location. This is a debate the wife and I have had more than a few times as to which is better option when considering price and services.I reluctantly would admit the full body massage is probably the better option for only a few dollars more per hour, but for the longest time I felt otherwise . With foot massage they do focus on entire body but you can either get it fully dressed or with your shirt off but you do keep some sort of sweats or shorts on-I tend to keep some sort of gym shorts on when getting my foot massage & they do tend to focus probably like 20 minutes of the hour on just your feet. With body massage-it's a bit different,no gym shorts needed, could do the full Monty if you were so inclined-not my thing but I know others do-wife prefers it that way and they do tend to spend a lot less time on your feet and more time on whatever part of your body you ask them to focus on.I can also vouch that in my many years of going to this location, the massage therapists have always been very professional and go out of their way to make sure their clients are always as comfortable as possible. In closing,I can say as a long time customer to this location,if you ever find yourself in the Natomas area and looking for a massage at a pretty good price, give this place a try-they are pretty good-I know I will for sure.

Will go back. Reasonably priced and my massage person was good. I needed a firm massage and got…read morewhat I asked for. Made an appt by calling and was taken in at the time of my appt. No waiting.

But this was by far the WORST service I ever received at any business. Due to soreness from athletics, I decided to book a one hour appointment. When I arrived, they took me back to a room and told me to wait. The employee then asks for my money upfront, which I thought was a bit odd, but nonetheless I paid anyway. About five minutes into the massage, the masseuse ran out to take a phone call. Three minutes later she comes in, still on the phone, and proceeds to massage my back with one hand, while talking on the phone with the other hand. About 10 min later the phone rings again. She runs out to get the phone, and proceeds to talk on phone for five minutes. She then enters the room and resumes the massage with one hand, while talking on the phone with the other hand. About 5 minutes later, says that she won't be able to give me the one hour appt as I booked. She says she needs to cut it to 45 min. She wraps up the massage about 5 min later and rushes me out. The massage was only about 30 min, and half of that time she spent it on the phone. I asked about receiving some of my money back, because I paid for a one hour massage. She hands me back $10. I was in disbelief when I walked back to my car. I couldn't believe that I actually just paid for that service. In closing, I'm not the type of person to complain. But I was so dissatisfied with my experience that I felt compelled to warn others.
