The doors here are REALLY heavy. It might seem like the door is locked, but it's actually just really hard to open. I came in for lunch and there was plenty of seating available. We were directed to order at the counter, but there isn't a large format menu available so we looked at one of the small menus taped onto the wall. The have really great services, some incredible cocktails (try the Industry Party), and the food is fantastic. I've been 2 times in the last couple weeks. With out of town guests wanting to eat the best Mediterranean Food and us being fans of Mamnoon, we decided to do a take out from Hanoon for a relaxed evening at the waterfront. We ordered $180 worth of food and haven't been so disappointed We got the mezze with the Arabic bread which was good. The fries was good. Now with most of us being vegetarians we got about eight falafel wraps. Oh my! I have no words. Each falafel was was so dense and hard as rock. The wrap itself was very dry( not enough sauces), add to it the dense falafels to make it a "crappy meal". Maybe it was an off day. Maybe next time will be better. But I just spent a whopping $180 on mediocre food that's hard to digest ( pun intended!) So, yes not going back anytime soon. read more

It came with their side salad, also a very small portion. This was $29. The "baklawa" was barely larger than 1"x1" and was $3.50. All in all, decent food, adequate service (granted, the restaurant was fairly empty), but very overpriced. Also, I went in around 5pm and was never offered a happy hour menu. I didn't even know about it until I went to their website to verify the prices above and saw it should have been available 3-6 every day. Yum! We had a great "brunch" at 2:00pm on a Sunday. The flavors of each dish were so unique and vibrant, we sighed with each bite. Our server had great recommendations. The muhammara was a delicious and hardy starter, I'm so glad we chose it because the whole mezze looked good. We could have just eaten with a spoon it was so good but every bite with bread as just right. If shakshuka is on the menu anywhere I'll always order it and this one was unlike any I have had, in a great way, perfect mix of yoghurt and tomato-spice sauce. My spouse ordered the hanoon breakfast which was a great way to try a little of everything. The potatoes were the biggest surprise with unique spices that melted in our mouths with the littlest gentle crunch too. I love Mamnoon so when Hanoon opened, I was ecstatic! Started out with only take out window but now full service indoor is available (have not tried yet). I have tried their chicken shawarma as a salad (for carb conscious people) and as a wrap. I love that you have that option and it is one of my favorite things on the menu. Fried halloumi is ALWAYS delicious and I ordered that as a side. I also have tried the za'atar wrap which is another great option - refreshing because of the mint and parsley. I also ordered the baba ghanoush but they just give it to you in a plastic container (same one that you find in the grocery store for their store branded products). I want to go back and try their dine in service because I believe they have added things to their menu (beyond the take out menu). Finally had the chance to try the highly anticipated Hanoon today! They have not opened for dine-in service, but currently offer window ordering/pickup service while they complete renovations. As a sister restaurant of the famous Mamnoon, Hanoon certainly did not disappoint! We tried the chicken schawarma wrap which was packed with wholesome ingredients and absolutely delicious (10/10!). The harra frites were nice and spicy albeit on the saltier side - comes with two dipping sauces. Don't forget to try out their drinks too- the mint lemonade with orange blossom water was so refreshing and the perfect complement to the mains. We're already excited for our next visit to try the other items on the menu. There's also a cute patio sitting area by the ordering window where you can enjoy your food.
