Homemade baklava was so pretty and amazing tasting!

We happen to have dinner here accidentally after the Brazilian restaurant next door was closed for a private event. It was definitely meant to be because we had an amazing experience. You can tell it's family owned and our waiter took the time to describe the dishes and recommend some. He even gave us samples of a drink we were inquiring about.. such top notch service! The portions were generous and affordable! My beef skewer plate was only $16! Fries were amazing and greek salad was delicious. Don't forget the baklava for dessert! Best baklava I've ever had and you can tell it's homemade. Highly recommend this place!

I'd say depending on what you order, your experience at Noon Cafe could be just okay or stellar, but I was lucky to come with a group of friends and was able to try a ton off the menu. Pulled up on a Thursday night at 7PM and the restaurant only had 1-2 other parties seated. Zaboon Sandwich (4.5/5): This would absolutely be my go-to order - the tongue is so tender and perfectly seasoned. Bread is the perfect ratio of carbs Persian Pizza (1.75/5): I don't think this one is great, think like a not super nice frozen combo pizza energy, but with beef hot dogs. If that's your vibe, you'll love it, but wasn't what I was looking for. Koobideh (4/5): Well seasoned ground meat blend. I thought the rice and veg was fairly standard fair. The rice in the dolmas were a bit soft for me, but was actually nicely balanced in flavor (I've had some really sour dolmas in my time). Roasted tomato was a nice touch though! Barg (4.25/5): Steak is actually perfectly cooked, super tender and juicy. Didn't come with a ton of protein, but came with the standard sides and was delicious, especially with a hit of acid from the lime wedges. Knafeh (1.5/5): In spite of the name, this is not knafeh, which was a big disappointment as I LOVE knafeh. This is just pistachio with kataifi, which isn't bad, but I was looking for a warm, crispy disk stuffed with cheese.

Service was very friendly, no issues with that. We paid at the front at the end. I don't know if I got unlucky/went on an off day. All the other reviews said the food was good, but I was rather disappointed. We tried the noon mix grill for $43, which came with a lot of white rice with some yellow rice sprinkled on top. The meat was surprisingly bland and overcooked. I expected it to taste better for this price. The $8 hummus and pita were just ok too.

Great place to get Persian food in Kirkland! Their beef skewer was my favorite thing that I had but everything as a whole was really good including the chicken and the rice. Pizza was OK, something that I would skip on next time. The service was pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend and would come back.

We heard a lot about this place so we decided to try it for lunch. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, he told us the significance of each dish and how it was supposed to be eaten. The place itself is quiet. We were the only one there so it wasn't busy at all. We ordered: - zamboon (tongue sandwich) --- good portion, love the bread, it was light, soft inside, but crispy outside. The meat was juicy and soft. I wish it had more flavors though. The dish also had a nice presentation as well. - koobideh platter - 1 skewer of beef, rice, taziki sauce and a roasted tomato --- the rice was very aromatic, the butter helped balance it out. The meat was very tender and juicy. I love how it goes well with the raw onion and the basil. Overall, it was a pretty good place to eat. Portions was good for the price.

    Shirazi salad for $10!!!

Great burger! Must try! I have tried their sandwiches before too! Very good! This time I got it I was a little shocked at the Shirazi salad thst I paid $10 for! I get jt, it's a chopped salad but $10 for a tiny side size? They could do better about serving size or reduce the price! It's more like a $6 salad and not worth $10z

    Persian pizza

I absolutely loved my first experience here at noon café. I came here with two other friends and we ordered three things to share. We got the Persian pizza, the hamburger, and the sosis bandari (sausage) sandwich. I was absolutely transported back to Tehran where I had delicious Persian pizza. It was a nice throwback to a nostalgic time for me. The sausage sandwich was delicious, the bread was perfect and not too thick or crunchy. The burger was good. Our server, I believe was the owner and he was incredible. His service was prompt, he explained what items were popular, greeted as very kindly, and overall made our experience very lovely. I highly recommend anyone visit noon café, especially if they love Persian food. I will definitely be coming back to try some other foods.

We are from California and visiting Seattle and decided to try persian food. California in known to have good persian food but I must say this was the best authentic persian food we had. We tried Zaboon,Mortadella , bandari sandwich, persian pizza and Koobideh. All were amazing. We just want to come back to seattle for this place.

Had takeout food from this restaurant. The hummus and the fries were solid. However, I wasn't a fan of the pizza - it was very blend and the cheese was too heavy overpowering everything else. The beef tongue sandwich was OK - the texture was more like a ground meat, and though had too much of moisture from the meat making it not crispy, but mushy - not for me

I've been low-key obsessed with this place for weeks (maybe months?) thanks to DoorDash--but honey, going in person? Game changer. The food? Even better fresh. The vibes? Immaculate. The staff greeted me with the kind of warm, smiling faces that make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time walking in. It's a charming little spot that seriously delivers--both to your door and to your soul. I'll definitely be back for another bite of heaven.

Incredible food, incredible service and what great hospitality! The kebab mix grill was incredible. The sausage sandwich was so good. The bread was so soft and the sauce was just right. This is probably the best Persian restaurant in the Seattle area.

I absolutely love their specialty drinks like honey cardamom, and a shakerato. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. It's usually social and low-key but never too loud. They have excellent food, matcha with option to remove sugar (not all coffee shops have this!). Generally, I feel like their staff is really great! Love the location minus the issues with parking being tricky for a quick stop, sometimes need to pay. I keep coming back here! With gas prices over six dollars and budgets getting tighter for so many the one thing that hinders me is their prices. Their baseline drinks are an average of $5.75 + tip. Quiche slice is $8 two hard boiled eggs near $4. Typical typically if I'm gonna spend almost $10 I'd rather buy a fancy drink like a bubble tea or go out for an appetizer and food. When you own your own espresso machine and Matcha at home it's hard to justify getting such expensive drinks unless there is that "I can't make this at home" appeal - housemade syrups, Boba, etc I do love that urban coffee lounge has pour over options which can be time-consuming and cold brew, which is delicious and also more time-consuming. I appreciate their presence in the neighborhood. Having lived in Seattle for so long with so much access to incredible coffee I appreciate urban coffee lounges level of expertise with coffee. It is more rare on the east side. (Zoka is great of course!) And I will keep coming back, but sparingly due to prices. (Am I the only one who feels this way? Let me know!) Thanks for being here, urban coffee lounge!

It gets busy, which makes sense given how popular it is and where it sits downtown, but the wait is always shorter than I'd expect. Service is fast and friendly even on weekends. I ended up parking near the small plaza with the UPS Store and Nothing Bundt Cakes, and it was only about a 3-minute walk to get there. When I walked in around 9:30 AM on a Tuesday, it was already pretty packed. There were a lot of people on their laptops, grabbing coffee, and just hanging out, it felt super lively. I love the overall environment of downtown Kirkland, so I was really excited to finally try this spot since it's been on my radar for a while. I was also meeting a friend, which made the experience even better. I ordered their pizza scone, and it looked so good, and it definitely delivered. It was warm, crusty, and had such a unique flavor combination. I've honestly never had anything like it before, and it just felt perfect for a spring morning. I also got a hot chocolate, which wasn't my favorite. It leaned more on the watery side. The space itself is really nice and spacious. They have plenty of seating in both the front and back, which is great whether you're meeting friends or getting work done. Their menu is also pretty extensive, with options like sandwiches, pastries, drip coffee, matcha, vanilla lattes pretty much everything you'd expect from a café. One thing I appreciated was how fast the service was. Our order came out in less than two minutes, which was impressive, especially given how busy it was. The staff were also super friendly, which always makes a difference. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe here. Even though the hot chocolate could've been better, I'd still definitely come back and try more items.

I look forward to trying something different next time. Only con for me was the massive ice cubes. Holy balls! Literally...ice was thicc. Refer to my photos. We recently had Mevlana pide, Kavurma pide, Lahmacun, Gozleme as well. They were all very delicious. The owner said the desserts come from Gaziantep Turkey (where baklava first originated) monthly and oh my when they put a Turkish Marash icecream in the middle, it was out of this world! I highly recommend. Their Sutlac (rice pudding is very very delicious) - it's not too sweet like some others. It's perfect & they serve with hazelnut or pistachios. Very delicious with a good combination of textures and flavors. Their doner meat has a discernible meaty texture without being greasy. We like their doner meat much better than A.D. also in Kirkland. This is a sizeable meal, and I brought half home. Iskender Doner Kebab Plate, $22.75 - 4.5 Stars Sliced doner meat is topped with hot tomato sauce and melted butter over pieces of pita bread. This is a rich and very filling dish that my hubby happily finished. Lahmacun, $8.95 - 4.5 Stars We shared this crispy lavish bread with minced ground lamb/beef, their version of flatbread, with our friends. All four of us like it. It's a smaller bite and sufficient as a meal for a smaller appetite. A must try. This place is 4.5 stars overall. I rounded up due to reasonable cost (for Eastside) and portion size.

In long Meeting an old friend for lunch, I looked for the best place that was close to halfway between us. I knew he dug Persian, but, for all the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean I've tried, this was my first venture. Safe to say I was long overdue for this exploration. 100th is pretty dense with little strip malls and mixed-use retail/residential for miles through here. A couple blocks away, you're in very leafy suburbia, but this stretch of road is 4 lanes and endless business district. BBMC is tucked on the east side of the street in a corner suite, plenty of parking. The dining room isn't much bigger than the back of most moving trucks you've loaded in your life; there's seating for maybe 20, and about 4 more on the little sidewalk patio. There's a clean and spacious washroom in back, though getting a wheelchair in there might take some doing. You get laminated menus and a carafe of water within a minute of sitting. It's not the longest menu, but evidently pretty extensive by Persian standards. We both went for grilled kebabs with basmati rice and salad. I was on duty to bring home a full serving of leftovers, so I went with the King's Choice. Great big salad, and a huge tray of rice. This is clearly designed for at least 2 to share. As it happens, that was the plan, since we're having leftovers for dinner at home. The salad has tons of fresh veg and a nice herbaceous yogurt dressing. No sauce on the meat or rice, but there's a ton of flavor from perfectly-balanced dry seasoning. The beef, ground beef, and chicken kebabs were all bursting with moisture and flavor, cooked just to perfect doneness, and showing nice little hints of grill scoring. I paid a little over $70 for what will be 3 servings of food (at least), and I haven't even tried the eggplant appetizer yet. I grabbed that to go. This place is worth many repeat visits, and I'd be in here regularly if I lived closer.
