Excellent food, reasonable speed, great location :D When I went the restaurant seating hadn't opened yet, so it was only order to go. I got the za'atar wrap with chicken added and the fries. The za'atar wrap was very tasty, although next time I'd probably skip the added chicken. To be the chicken was a little dry. But the flavors of everything were wonderful! The fries were delicious but my weak mouth wasn't expecting it to be so spicy! So word of warning to anyone who didn't know. Very tasty, I ended up suffering through all of them anyway. And the dips helped. I'll be back next time I want some Mediterranean food. I like that it wasn't too expensive for enough food. read more

The food is really tasty. Some of the dishes are middle eastern; but not found commonly. Muhammara tasted delicious. It + Humus was well decorated. mushroom kebab was tasty; but the texture of some part felt like eggplants. Batata harra was also delecious and well decorated. The staff is nice. The service speed was good. read more

This place was soooo good!! Ben was our server and he was welcoming and very attentive. The inside looked edgy with geometric shapes on the tables and artistic metal serving platters. We ordered an Empress Gin martini which was good. From the time we ordered to when we got our food, it was pretty quick. The menu is small, but has a perfect balance of all options of Lebanese food. Would definitely go back when in the area. read more

Upscale casual spot in Kirkland. Was seated right away and had booked the reservation online same day. Smaller portions, but I felt that the food was flavorful and yummy. Great for non-meat eaters. The drinks were also great! Also got the tequila cucumber cocktail and it was strong. Main thing I noticed was the slower service. There seemed like a lot of waitstaff running around; it took two times asking for us to receive a dessert menu for example. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! read more

I'm not sure what concept this restaurant is going for. It looks chic and elegant on the one hand with some lovely interior design like the bar or ceiling lighting BUT THEN the shawarma is served to you in a paper wrap like you ordered it from a food truck on the street. I also thought the plastic chairs were a poor choice and kind of looked cheap. Anyhow just saying the concept seems off and could be revisited so things feel a bit more in sync ‍ Okay moving on to food. I'm Lebanese and I hate to say it but I wasn't a fan...The bread is way too thick and just plain heavy. I didn't think the shawarma. It didn't taste like a shawarma to me. Many spices were missing and it wasn't served with toum. I mean really? At least offer it. Only thing I liked was the halloumi, which I can easily make myself at home. My husband and I gave this place a couple of chances but it just doesn't hit the spot. I think for non-Lebanese or Arabs the food would taste fine. Service was okay. Nothing to say about that. read more

The absolute worst and dry Chicken Shawarma I've had in my life, and I've tried my share of Shawarmas from all over the world. Let's start with the outer layering which is a non-traditional paper thin bread with flavorless chicken lacking major seasoning and zero sauce. I asked for some garlic sauce just to be able to eat it and the waiter agreed that shawarma is more on the dry side, but to my surprise I was charged an additional $2 for the garlic toum sauce. It's the little things, but when the food is already bad and they up charge you on every little thing it's just plain rude. There was even an up charge to get salad instead of the bread for the wrap. The fries were the only thing here that were actually good and fresh. I was really surprised since the place had a really nice vibe and it seemed like they were making bread fresh but the taste said otherwise. It tasted like old whole wheat bread from the freezer. The service was sub par with one waiter given the entire restaurant to manage so I don't blame her for being slow. Overall, I would not come back after this experience. If you're looking for a good Lebanese spot I would recommend checking out Tanoor which actually has flavor and fresh bread. read more

I'm really sad to write this review. I've come to this restaurant to eat several times and have really loved the interior and the service. The food is also very fresh and authentic. We love it. We also order delivery from here a lot. I mean a lot. Like any time we want take out we usually get Hanoon, and usually have the same order. One time we ordered a dinner for 4 which came with 2x portion of 2 entrees among other things. So 4 total boxes of food. They forgot to pack the sides, but we didn't realize until the end so we just let it go. We ordered this meal again recently, but this time it only came with 2 boxes of food (so 2 single portion entrees instead of 4). Thinking there was a mistake, we called the restaurant to check. The person who answered the phone insisted this was the correct amount of food and was not apologetic at all, and didn't even try to clear up the confusion. She became rude and dismissive, even though we knew she was wrong because we had ordered it before. We had also gotten single portions of each entree before and this was definitely only single portions. So we definitely only got half of the food. There is no way that this was meant to be a dinner for 4 as it would maybe feed 2. The person on the phone eventually said they recently had to change portions or something. But then why charge the same amount? And even if the amounts did change, did they think customers would not notice and not call in? Her tone implied we were in the wrong for even questioning this mistake and was extremely rude from the get go. I am not sure if this is the person who usually serves us, who is normally very sweet, but if so I'm just really surprised. I think this is the most disappointing of all - treating your repeat customers poorly and being rude to them. Honestly she may have just said it to shut me up and end the conversation. I'm not sure. Upon taking another look, we also realized the sauces and baklava were missing from the order, which is definitely in the description and we definitely got it last time. So all in all not only were we lied to, but we didn't even get the rest of the food that was in the description either. Again I am so sad and disappointed to write this. We really loved this restaurant, but seeing the way they treat loyal customers is just really off putting and wrong. Again, I'm very sad to write this because we love the food and have had great service other times. But this was just straight up lying and rudeness which is unacceptable. read more

5 stars for the food which was wonderfully flavorful and fragrant. Everything that appeared on the table disappeared just as quickly: shakshuka with amazing sangak bread, hummus, and halloumi. The coffee could've been stronger but still pretty good. As for the service - I don't mind the small mishaps/confusions but everyone in this place was exceptionally friendly and nice though! This place is so overpriced, go elsewhere and save your money. They claim it's better to share but the portion sizes and pricing make no sense. It's like they want to be tapas but couldn't figure it out how to size or price. Our server also forgot a main dish, blamed it on the kitchen and then clearly added it to the bill late and my partner only got his food after we checked on it 25min later and after everyone ate. No apologies or anything. Would not recommend. read more

We were very excited to try this out as Mamnoon is one of our favorites for Middle Eastern food. The decor and ambience is pretty neat and elegant. On that front I would say it's on par with Mamnoon. Food was good, but not outstanding. I ordered the mushroom kababs. This dish has the potential to be spectacular, and gets a lot of things right. The squash was perfectly char-grilled. Mushrooms were the right texture, juicy and tender but not mushy. The sauce was the weak spot, some work can be done there to improve the flavors. In its current form it was a bit too tart, balancing it with some sweetness and smokiness could really elevate the dish. My friend ordered a tuna dish. It had the right flavors, but quantity was very little for its price point. Important to note that this restaurant is on the pricier side and you have to shell out $$$ for a hearty meal. I would still definitely recommend this place, it's a top contender for great middle eastern food in Eastside. read more

New spot for my sisters and I. We ordered the Baba Ganoush, Hummus, and three wraps. Two chicken and one lamb. My lamb wrap was amazing very flavorful. Both of my sister felt the chicken wraps need sauce and used the hummus. We all loved the baba ganoush (first time trying it) and hummus, very flavorful. The food was very filling. The ordering process was a little intimidating. Right when you walk in you order from a kiosk menu tap to the window for review, then they provide you with a number and bring out your food. Since it was only one kiosk at the front of the restaurant we felt the need to order quickly. The atmosphere was great, food amazing! And price was very reasonable. Definitely look forward to going back. Great place!! read more

Great addition to the Totem Lake Village Shops! There are two separate food menus. The take out one is loaded with hand helds that are flavorful and like nothing else around. The sit down menu has much of the same ingredients in platters and salad fries combos and costs about 30-40% more before tax and tips. They do not allow you to order just the sandwich while seated. You must order off of the eat in menu which I found strange while feet away, people are ordering and gathering the take out menu items and then eating them outside within view. Seems silly. Everything looked delicious. I ate the Za'atar wrap. It was Thyme and Sumac forward. Delicious. I'll return for a mezze sampler or to try the Shwarma. It is a fun date night or friends meet up, or take your order to go and enjoy the fireside seating in the Village. read more

Like the others mentioned, you order at the front and you can take out or sit in. The music was a bit loud but the interior is pretty spacious. Their menu is also a bit limited. From what was on the list, we enjoyed the chicken shwarma wrap and the frites. There's a great amount of flavor to both and the chicken was very soft and moist. Frites tasted good even after being reheated later in the day. The fries do have a bit of a spicy kick so may not be the best for toddlers/young kids. Overall this place has a pretty casual vibe so it would be fine for a lunch break or quick bite. read more

Went to Hanoon to try their newly launched brunch and it was amazing! Everything we ordered was very tasty. The Moushakal Mezze sampler was fantastic, you get to try 4 things: hummus, muhammara, baba ganoush, and labneh which was well balanced, super creamy, and my personal favorite of the 4 (hard to choose a favorite). We also ordered the Za'tar French Toasts which were unique with the orange blossom maple syrup and had a great consistency, the Shakshuka which was to die for, and the breakfast potatoes also delicious and perfectly cooked. Obviously being that it was brunch, I ordered the bottomless mimosas, you get to try all 3 flavors if you want! Orange, pomegranate and grapefruit. I also ordered an oat milk latte and not surprisingly their coffee is great too! The service was attentive, I think one of the dishes took longer than it should have so we got complementary croissants, much appreciated even though we were too full to eat them on the spot, because we were celebrating my birthday we also got a baklava which looked dry but was actually on point! Great time at Hanoon, we appreciated that there was life music which added to our outing. The only very minor constructive criticism I have is that the actual table which was beautiful by the way, was annoyingly wobbly. I told the server about it and she agreed with my observation. I will be back to Hanoon for sure! Can't wait to try all their other yummy things. read more

Almost 4 star but not quite (for now) for this new Nadi Mama venture. They just opened their dine-in options with some limited menu. I really love their Mamnoon restaurant and struggled not to give this 4 stars but had to. but everyone should totally try it for themselves. Having tried their shwarma wrap and falafel wrap I felt something lacking. The pita wrap was nice thickness wise but could be roasted more to get that crispness just a bit more and same thing for shwarma- where I lacked the smoke. Also give me some more of the garlic sauce in my wrap to make them less dry. But adding the potato fries was a nice touch to give it texture (reminded me of cali burrito with fries). The falafel filling was bit doughy. I intend to try it as they bring on their new dishes and am sure the star ratings would go up as they pick up their operations. read more

Food: Overall, I thought was really great - moushakal (has the 4 dips). All were delicious. My favorite being the labneh and baba ganoush. Comes with only a few *very* small pieces of pita that is waaaayyy too little for the dip. Not sure why they skimp so much on the bread. So ended up ordering more pita. Falafel. Good, but not amazing. The sauce and the slaw with it was quite good but would probably skip next time to try the more unique offerings Batata hara. Sooo delicious. One of my favorites. I really like Japanese sweet potatoes which has a firmer/delicate texture with a mild sweet potato taste. Tasted really good with the crispness, spices, slaw. Aleppo eggplant. Another favorite. So flavorful. Seasonal green fattoush. Good salad. A little elevated for salad with some very flavorful toasted bread. The olives were a little too mild for me. Baklava--really delicious. Had a unique kind of floral/orange favor. Less sweet than most baklavas Cookies--standard chocolate chip cookies--fairly sizable actually and came with 3 so good for a group. Very good cookie, but not a special/unique sort of dessert for the restaurant Overall: food was very good. Portions just a little small. Very good for vegetarians. Ambiance. Nicely decorated. Has some outdoor seating although tables were small Service: our server was lovely. We were a larger group that trickled in and they were patient with us. Food pace was slightly slow but overall fine. Parking: found challenging which i found surprising in a shopping complex in the suburbs. Parallel parked on street. Not sure if there is an easy garage. Overall was happy with then dinner and will probably come back to try other menu items. read more

Visited on a Wednesday around 6:00 with plenty of parking at Totem Lake Mall. We ordered at a window and had the choice to sit inside or out. We got a chicken shawarma, falafel wrap and a lahm bi ajine wrap. We also got a couple of waters and were glad to be asked if we wanted ice, and even more glad to see that the cups are compostable. The wrap is not pita as I expected - it's stretchier, bouncier, and not as dry. It doesn't hold up well to moisture, so I wouldn't recommend letting it sit more than 20 minutes or so. My chicken wrap didn't look like Ratish K's picture from July - mine had very little vegetable, but the chicken was plentiful, moist and well-spiced. It was easily our favorite. Unfortunately, neither one of us liked the falafel or lamb. The ingredients were all fresh, so no complaint there. The falafel was dense, wet, and lacking flavor - the mint was overly pronounced because there wasn't much else to taste. The lamb wrap looked so sad I decided not to take a picture of it - it was flat because there wasn't much in it and the filling looked like reddish-colored baby food. I liked the flavor, but hubby couldn't stand it. I guess it depends on how much you like pomegranate. If we come back it will be for the chicken shawarma and to try other items, but for $40+ fast food, we'll probably look elsewhere. read more

First off, I love Lebanese food. When I heard that the folks behind Mamnoon were opening a bit more casual spot in my area of town, I was elated. We've eaten there twice, once when it was just a walk up place and then again when they fully opened up. Food A great selection of things to eat. We had the harra frites (delicious with the harra ketchup), chicken shawarma (nice and juicy), baba ganoush (smokey and delectable) and arnabeit makli (quite good, though I wasn't sure what to expect). Drinks I had the arak n' roll (quite strong like a manhattan) and my wife had one of the wines followed by a few negronis. Service It was quite attentive and they were great at providing us a view into what to try. read more

Tasty! I've been looking forward to trying this place and today was the day. I got the za' atar wrap, my partner got the lahm bi ajine (lamb) and we split the harra frites. The fries were definitely the star of the show, a little spicy and with two unique dipping sauces. The wrap was good, just incredibly salty. Lots of olives and seasonings but the salt was really overwhelming. Prices seemed reasonable to me for the wrap (around 10-12$) but I was surprised that the fries were 9$. Our total was about $34 before tip which seemed a bit steep for two wraps and a side of fries in a fast casual setting. *apologies for the messy photos - I forgot to take pictures until a few bites in * read more

Our first time here, we came for dinner. And the food was AMAZING. We had the falafel and harra frites (spicy French fries) to share, a shish taouk, and a chicken shawarma (not on the dinner menu, but they let me order it), and a baklawa for dessert. The falafel was good, good texture and the sauce was pretty good. The harra frites were extremely good! Spicy at just the right level. Came with two sauces, a tartar sauce that she liked, and a ketchup mix that I really liked. Not sure what's in it exactly, but seems like an applesauce/ketchup mixture. Great combo! The shish taouk was so good also! The chicken was heavily spiced, and very moist, great flavor. It also came with carrots and raisins, and a green sauce, that all created a very good mixture. Excellent all around. The chicken shawarma was, surprise, also extremely good! The actual shawarma wrap is pretty heavy on meat and has a layer of harra fries inside of it, and just enough vegetables to provide a nice contrasting texture. And finally, the baklawa. A hint of honey and orange flavor, great texture, just really good finishing dessert. A little small, but enough for two to share. The service was also very welcoming, the server was helpful in describing all the items on the menu (and again, letting me order something off it). And the ambiance is pretty cool. Nice relaxing pop music covers in the background, well lit with interesting decorations. Just a wonderful all around experience. We will 100% come back. read more

High on concept, low on execution. The food is tasty but the portions are small and prices are high. The dishes all seem to want to make a statement. I want to eat, not be impressed. But the food did taste good and we left feeling satisfied, if a bit financially regretful. The issue for me was more the dining room floor. General chaos reined. Dishes being sent back. Confused and inattentive wait staff. There were two of us and our entrees arrived 20 minutes apart, after several attempts to get service. They did comp it after a brief negotiation.
