It's Friday night at 7pm and we Dropped by as we were in the area... which is a little shady which should have been my first clue of things to come. This restaurant is Located in a "Class C center "... clue #2. When we entered we were the only people inside as another couple was leaving with take-out. While we waited to order we failed to see any employees for a few minutes.. clue #3. Finally a woman in middle eastern attire showed up & we ordered. 1 Greek salad with Gyro meat & 1 Gyro platter with yellow rice, French fries, hummus & pita bread. 15 minutes later it was ready & we were ready to pay for it. Clue #4. The Greek salad was small & the meat was not those long cuts of delicious lamb, but rather tidbits or remnants of lamb pieces. No Feta cheese to be found either. It was edible but underwhelming. My platter was anything but a platter... because it all was crammed into a styrofoam box with little compartments. The lamb was a super small portion of the same chopped lamb remnants more like lamb hash. The rice was white not yellow...I ordered fries and got a morsel of salad instead....no hummus present but I think it was babaganoush... and no pita bread anywhere to be found! What a disaster! Now I'm mad that I left a Tip. Furthermore the prices on the in store menu are not the same as your final ticket. I was charged $16.99 for my platter when the menu clearly states $15.99. This was the most disappointing Mediterranean food I have ever had in the 11 years living in this area. I usually love supporting local independent businesses but in this case I highly recommend you DO NOT support this Family business until they improve the Food, the service & the prices Charged. We in Boca Raton know better Food and deserve better than this attempt. Hannah's is still just as good as I remember. I ordered a falafel salad bowl for lunch delivery to my office and it was absolutely perfect. The falafel were still warm and crispy even with the takeout. I try falafel everywhere I can and I swear Hannah's are my favorite. If you're looking for good Mediterranean/ Arabic food this is your spot. I got the beef shawarma and it was just what I was craving. Everyone else I was with got grape leaves, chicken kabob and falafel. They enjoyed their meals as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The portions were large and plated beautifully. If we're in this area again we will definitely be back. My only complaint is that I wish the restaurant was a little cleaner. When we first walked in the people that I was with were very weary about eating here because it wasn't up to their clean standards. This family run hidden gem in an old strip center on Yamato in east Boca Raton is the real deal. Food is authentic and outstanding. Everything is made to order so a little patience is required but your taste buds will be thankful. We started with the mixed sampler appetizer that comes with falafel, kibbeh, hummus, baba ganoush, grape leaves, and tabouleh. A great way to try several menu items. The mixed grill platter is fantastic with skewers of chicken, lamb and kafta. Rice and a choice of salad or French fries are included with platters. Phenomenal. Absolutely delicious, authentic, traditional Middle Eastern food prepared beautifully and with obvious care. Everything we tried was fantastic, from the falafel to the beef and lamb shawarma to the kafta kabob platter. Sauces are all made in-house, including a wonderful tahini that they sell to take home and the hot pepper sauce served on the hummus (the pepper sauce is also available to take home, though I grabbed the last jar they had today). They also sell legit labneh that they import. The owner is lovely and welcoming. Top to bottom a wonderful experience. I was spending time with the family tonight, and we wanted to try something new. Looking around online, Hannah's kitchen seemed to be popping, so we decided to head there! Going in, Hannah's kitchen was tucked away inside the Plaza, but we finally found it. The restaurant had the vibes of a Middle Eastern grocery store and had somewhat limited seating, but that didn't stop us from eating here. This evening we ordered 1x chicken shawarma pita, 1x chicken shawarma special wrap, and 1x zatar cheese bread! Moving on with my review, our experience was great! The owner, Hannah herself, greeted my family and chatted with us for quite a bit (very friendly)! As for the food, the dishes were simple, yet tasted very fresh, and had a nice contrast of flavors too. My only critique is that I found the chicken itself could use more mediterranean seasoning as it was missing that signature spice. Despite this feedback, the food & service was near excellent, and I'd definitely be glad to come eat here again! My final verdict 4.5/5! read more

Some of the best falafel I have ever tried! 5/5 (14.99) Lamb Shawarma wrap - Lettuce, tomato & cucumber salad, onion, red cabbage, pickles, and tahini. This was a bit on the average side. The portion was also not as generous considering the price but it was good overall. 3/5 ($10.99) Chicken Shawarma bowl - Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, tabbouleh, red cabbage, hummus, turnip pickles, cucumber pickles, and I chose yellow rice. This was really good and flavorful. I think the chicken protein was a better tasting option than the lamb. It was also a very nice portion. Absolutely delicious! I looked up random places to get a chicken gyro and this place has got to be the best place I've tried! It's so flavorful and the garlic sauce is amazing! The vegetables were fresh and juicy. Had that right amount of snap to them! I got the pita pocket and I got it to go originally but it smelled so good I ended up eating it all in the car! You can get a wtap, salad, or rice bowl with yoir choice of protein with a variety of toppimgs and sauces. I chose the chicken schwarma with hummus and garlic sauce. It was a huge portion and so delicious. We also tried the falafel whicj was one of the best I have had. It is a good value and the owner Hannah is very friendly. She is happy to give suggestions and brought us a sample of the stuffed cabbage. They have recently added a small store area and they have a good variety of foods. I bought labneh, cheese, pita brrad, and some hummus to take home. They have a few oitdoor tables and several inside. It is simple but clean and the food is really good. Was craving some hummus and falafel and was in the area. Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant at lunch time. Hannah was nowhere to be seen ! Someone finally came out front and took our order. The menu on the wall is not correct and you need to look at the small menu on the counter. We ordered six falafel, hummus with shwarma meat and a lamb wrap & side salad. We took two iced teas from the little fridge and sat down. Waited and waited and finally my felafel came out. Next came the hummus but the meat was missing. They brought it back out with meat and a whole lot of olive oil drizzled on top. Finally the lamb wrap made it out. Falafel was terrific. Crispy. Flavorful. The hummus dish was tasteless. Super oily. Meat was meh. Portion seemed a lot smaller as well. Had a bit of my dining companion's lamb wrap and it was good but not great. Line to order grew pretty long as new customers came in. The woman at the front taking orders seemed overwhelmed. I asked where Hannah was from the chef and he said "she's taking care of something". I've never had a disappointing meal here ....
