The restaurant itself is small but always cleanly and I love how their windows have seasonal paintings on them. They also sell excellent kettle corn. I highly recommend! My grandma and I went last night but have been here numerous times before. I've often found some of their meat to be pretty dry but I do like the meatloaf. That's exactly what I had last night along with baked potato salad, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. They also make some of their drinks in house as well like the iced tea and root beer. My meatloaf was great! Nice Smokey flavor and four pieces was a hefty portion. The last two slices had some harder pieces of fat which I needed to take out of my mouth though. The potato salad is always killer- I think they add some sour cream to it to make it tangier. Cornbread is some of the best I've ever had- super sweet and cake like. The Mac and cheese was also excellent with great creaminess. Iced tea was sweetened and also very good. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. We had banana pudding for dessert which was good overall. I prefer the Magnolia Bakery recipe more but appreciated how the nilla wafers were fresh and it had plenty of banana. I would lay off the cool whip in the future though. Overall, an excellent restaurant who does right by their employees and the community. I love to see it and support whenever I can!

I was in the general area and decided to try Goodstuff Smokehouse again, and ordered the following for takeaway: * 2 Meat Combo (with Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potato, Ribs, Fatty Brisket) $27.00 * Small Cucumber Salad $5.00 In this case, the Brisket was very good, but the Ribs were way overdone, mostly inedible (check out the photo). Everything else was quite good, the issue here is the inconsistency, and the fact that this type of venue should always have good ribs!

The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Can't wait to come back!

They also have a bathroom 6 choices of sauces to choose from. Which is a nice variety. I like the sweet one and the house sauce. Price isn't bad honestly. For the $21 platter, you get two fixin's, one meat, and corn bread. Decent amount of food for sure. Good quality. Smoked chicken was good, the sexy grits were good, would've loved to add some cheese! The slaw...heavy on the vinegar, corn bread not too sweet, not too crumbly. Also tried the bread pudding, jam packed with stuff, not too sweet. Signs all along the walls, hand written menu. You can see them cooking in front of you, or cutting the meat at least. The take out trays, bags, and utensils are all eco friendly, which we love to see. They have both fountain and canned drinks. Would go back to try something else!

Rustic atmosphere on the back of another building with gravel lot. Exactly what BBQ should be. No glitter or glamour, simply a passion for low and slow high quality product. I ordered the chopped brisket, apple butter pepper burnt ends, and they had a special of ribs so you know I had to dive in! All 3 were amazing and I have no complaints. Things to note, they don't sauce their BBQ but have an in house sauce on request. Food was piping hot and delicious. BBQ isn't fast food. Quality takes time and I'll wait all day for superior product, which Paul and his team provide. Do yourself a favor and go visit!

Always grateful for your business, and tells you so. I really hope the locals help him stay for a long long time. The food is ridiculously good, trust me. It's also genius. Pork belly bacon brisket, say WHAT?! Fall apart tenter, buttery and succulent. Smoked to perfection. It smelled so good that I ordered it to go, and ate it in my car. Well done man...well done!
