Food: I ordered a bunch of things bc we love to eat and try different items. 2 Kid's Breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs with cheese on a brioche bread): Delicious. I added a few pieces of bacon and it was perfect! The homemade potatoes - they were so good!!! I was a bit hesitant of the sriracha aioli but it was really good. I should have tried the potatoes when they were warm, but I couldn't stop eating the sandwich and then the potatoes. Btw, that aioli would be really good in a sushi roll :) Lemon ricotta pancakes with fruit: Delicious and you get a lot. Taste good with the butter and syrup. The fruit was very fresh. Son loved it but lucky for us, he couldn't finish it. Side of bacon: You sure know how to make bacon. It was made to perfection - crispy! Potato buttermilk doughnut: Great! Son ate it up. Ice tea: really refreshing. It had a hint of lemon in it. Coffee: Good Since we got a lot of stuff, our breakfast was $70. Overall, the food was really good. They added 18% gratuity to the order to help out the workers which I thought was nice. The workers should feel happy the owners did that. Parking: along the hangar area. This is just a quick note, Please please please make sure that the website is updated with the correct hours. Or Google. Or Yelp. We went to eat breakfast here on a specific day and were greeted with this sign that said they were closed although where we were looking said they should be open. It is also not clear how to get into the building from the parking space, but that was probably because the gate was closed because it was not open. A makeshift diner whose trend has far exceeded its appeal, for me. Hangar B has a quaint appeal and a unique setting, set facing the town airfield. The menu is unique. For some, the setting may be the only appeal. I'm not sure if the staff are naturally nonchalant and dismissive, or if there was a collective bad mood in the air today. As the second party in line at the 7 A.M. opening, we had asked to be seated at the outside deck, as others behind us in line had. This must have annoyed them for reasons unknown as their expressions accurately portrayed their displeasure. So, 15 minutes to see the waitress for a cup of coffee. Another 15 minutes to place our order. At the 1 hour mark, I had to ask about the delay, seeing that every other patron following our party was already served food. I was told that pancakes take a lot of time and had occupied all of their griddles. Why other orders were taken before ours could not be explained. Understandably, many businesses in tourist-heavy areas do get bogged down with the onslaught of business. On holiday and in no particular rush, our party was willing and had gracefully and quietly withstood a rather unacceptable delay. However if you consider that no staff had even kept our hopes up with an order update or given the time of day in any way whatsoever, it really leads one to believe that the diner is severely mismanaged and exhibits significant incompetence dealing with the public. It's my opinion that this is unacceptable for a business. So, shortly after the hour mark we departed, sans five meals. If you are in search of a nice meal and are not in the mood to be ignored and dismissed, then I would keep searching for a diner that can cook their pancakes faster than Hangar B. read more

What a gem! We went with our three-year-old at 8:05am and it was already bustling. The food was delicious (favorites were the donut with jam and the chocolate croissant French toast), the service was great and very accommodating, and the setting was so cool. Hangar B's a little small inside so the wait times can be long if you are trying to get in at peak times, BUT if you got the time, oh boy is the food worth the wait! Tried some things I wouldn't have normally ordered for myself and was blown away, to the point where I am going to have to try and replicate them at home just because I don't want to wait until my next trip to Cape Cod to have to taste them again. Across the board you can't go wrong with anything from the pancakes to the hashes, absolutely fantastically done. We are sticklers for coffee and we had multiple cups every time, even walking out of the eatery with bags for home. Man the wait was a pain but hey it's well worth the wait. The bread pudding french toast was soo tasty! The included lemon and jam was nice addition. The lemon ricotta pancake was also good though it's sort of more caley in a tire and not the soft fluffy version. The potato donut was also quite good, but it was dmeae but was a good start for everyone to share. The donut is quite sizeable I wouldn't recommend getting one for each person. read more

Loved the atmosphere and the views provided by the outdoor seating. You are basically in a private airport so you get to see planes taxi and land on the runway nearby. Definitely the coolest selling point of the place. So during COVID you have one of two options to try their food. 1. Order takeout online via their website with a designated time slot for pickup. (Times fill up quickly) 2. Go to the location for outdoor dining. (We opted for this) The wait was about an hour for a table. We went around 10am on a Sunday. Major downside was that it was very windy the day we went so we couldn't have the umbrellas open and not much shade available. Not the best way to enjoy the day with a minor sunburn. Everything was flying off tables. But they can't control the weather so not their fault. Food was good and good variety. Definitely recommend the donuts with the jams. Still dreaming about the AMAZING breakfast our family had on our little Cape Cod getaway! Everyone was so friendly and willing to work with my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). The portions were huge, everything tasted incredible and the atmosphere was loud but so cute! It was so fun to watch the small planes land and take off while eating! The only bad thing I'll say is beware if it's hot out because it was soooo hot inside- but I think they were having a heat wave that isn't usual for the area so we totally understood! Cool Idea. Poorly executed. Got here at 9:30am on a Sunday was expecting a wait which is fine. When we asked to sit outside we were told that would be fine and a spot would open up in about 45 minutes. Waited outside for 45 minutes only to be sat inside. We were never told about the specials and unfortunately didn't see the board until after we ordered. Finally received our food at 11:05 and by 11:13 the check was dropped off on our table not even 10 minutes later. The inside is loud and you don't get to experience the whole reason of coming here which is watching the planes. Really cool concept but poorly executed. Stopped for breakfast with a party of four on a Thursday morning. Had the wait of one hour and 15 minutes. Not a big fan of waiting but this place had come highly recommended and the menu looks good. Dining at an active airport is quite the experience. Our 2 year old son enjoyed watching the planes take off. The food was appropriately priced for the portion size you get. My husband got scrambled eggs and, unfortunately, there was butchers twine in them. He pulled it out of his mouth before swallowing thankfully. This is the best breakfast I have ever had!! The Huevos Rancheros were amazing as was the red flannel hash with poached eggs!!! It was so good this past Saturday we went again on Sunday where we had to try the lemon ricotta pancakes which are great!!!! Really scrumptious breakfast food in a cute building by a tiny "airport" (it doesn't really feel like an airport, more like a large space with planes parked). We started with the donuts, which came with an assortment of jams (strawberry, lemon with vanilla, and blackberry). The jams were amazing, with the donuts serving as the perfect conduit for the jams. It's a good thing to share with friends while you wait on your food. I tried the lobster + asparagus + goat cheese omelette which was on the special board. It was perhaps the least impressive of the dishes I tried, although I appreciated how soft and fluffy the omelette egg was (usually I dislike omelette eggs because they're dry). The lobster didn't taste very fresh though, was a bit too chewy, which was disappointing given how fresh all the other ingredients seemed. Also the lobster and asparagus didn't have the strongest flavor on their own so it wasn't a super savory omelette. The other omelette on the specials board, balsamic roasted crimini mushroom, arugula, aged cheddar omelette, was more successful with the balsamic mushrooms adding a nice flavor to the eggs (which was missing from mine). The red flannel hash was my favorite, somehow filled with flavor despite the rather straightforward ingredients, and paired perfectly with the poached eggs on top. The French toast was also really good, although perhaps better as something to share since it's a lot of sweet to eat for breakfast. It's made with bread pudding and topped with a bunch of super fresh fruit. The breakfast sandwich several of my friends enjoyed looked amazing and I heard lots of praise for them. Good morning. My name is Sophia Fisher, and my daughter and I had lunch at your place yesterday 7/16/20, around 12:30pm. First of all I have to say that I've always loved eating at Hangar B, and I've always had a pleasant experience. Your food is marvelous! Unfortunately, yesterday was the most dreadful experience I've ever had at ANY restaurant. The minute we got there, we were greeting with attitude. I wasn't wearing a mask and the gentleman yelled at me telling me it was the law to have it on in the area where you check in. I didn't know, and quite honestly, all of the people that were at picnic tables eating lunch weren't wearing masks and so I just wasn't aware of your policy. I live in Michigan, and each state is different. I apologized, put on my mask, and put our names in. When we got the call, we were seated, and sadly had the rudest server imaginable. I don't recall her name, but she had shoulder length hair, and black pants. She was NOT the really tall woman with jean shorts and red hair. Our server treated us as if we were bothersome, and we felt unwanted and unwelcome. When I complimented her on my coffee, she looked at me and walked away. I have no idea what was on her mind, and why she felt the need to be outwardly rude, but it ruined our lunch experience. We had been looking forward to this day for the last month. Our food was delicious, but as I said, our lunch experience was ruined. Upon leaving, I had to use the restroom. As my daughter was waiting for me, there was a cockroach on her leg. Sickening!!! We walked to the car and I called and asked to speak to a manager. A man came on the phone and I asked if he was the manger, at which he said yes. I explained what happened, and told him he should know that a cockroach was in the premises of your restaurant. His response was that he could not control what was outside and hung up on me. I was in complete disbelief! How in the world could my experience get even worse?? I would like to speak to the owner of Hangar B before I post this on social media, google reviews, and trip advisor (with a pic of the cockroach.) I don't want to do this, but if this is the way that you now conduct business, I feel it's my obligation to warn people from going there. On top of it all, we felt the need to throw away our to-go boxes. If a cockroach was on her leg, then who knows what else could've touched our food. On a stormy day in mid-winter, we traipsed down the runway and into Hangar B Eatery. Flights were grounded for the day, but bacon was cleared for takeoff. Into my mouth. Unfortunately Hangar B Eatery is not a name, like Susan B Anthony, but rather the name of restaurant embedded in a small airport. What struck me first, aside from the fact that people can eat so close to airplanes, is how trendy this joint is. One associates Cape Cod with rustic-style and most restaurants on the arm follow suit. Hangar B, in contrast, is slick, clean, and modern. Our interactions with the waitstaff were pleasant, though I may have scared them. I always come in hot, fire off bits, and drill people with non sequiturs, often to greatly mixed results. In this case, lovely songs were coming through the speaker system only to moments later be switched to something else. I brought up that everyone was enjoying John Mayer's "Love Is a Verb" before it got swapped 30 seconds later and the waitress seemed flustered. My friends assured her that I was joking and am in need of serious counseling for my behavior. My traditional breakfast contained The Bacon I Desire and filled me with great joy and optimism. There was no turbulence after landing and cabin pressure remained steady. Everyone else seemed delighted by their fuel, too. Lining the tables and entryway are copious amounts of merchandise, something I treasure in a notable tourist location. As capitalist pigs, we made a few purchases. Ultimately what stands out most about Hangar B is its location and experiential appeal. Walking unguarded onto a runway feels both dangerous and strangely empowering. I hope to return on a day with clear skies to witness the rattling of my coffee cup as a small passenger airplane ascends into the blue sky. read more

Showed up 20 mins after 1pm and other tables stop eating while rude and condescending staff displayed no flexibility or empathy after flying all the way here for a birthday lunch. Despite yummy recommend don't recommend. Prices are relatively high for serving only brunch (eggs, salads, & sandwiches should not be priced as high for simple ingredients & low key ambiance) plus small portion sizes. In addition, my family asked manager and other staff who were equally as rude, snotty, & condescending. Many better options in Chatham & the Cape and especially other better small airport restaurants to choose from (such as Tasos Greek Cafe at Norwood). Stay away! read more
