If you need a reputable, honest and fair handyman, then Robert and his team is the one you should call. We had Steve come out for multiple jobs within a two month time span. The first job was for a faucet replacement for three bathrooms with old lines. The second job was to replace a corroded window board and third was to replace the bottom flooring I. The kitchen sink cabinet that was corroded and filled with ants underneath. Steve was awesome and got the jobs done. The price was very fair and reasonable compared to other plumbers and Home Depot. I contacted Robin to install a new hood in my kitchen. After speaking with him, I was comfortable going forward with them. Their crew showed up exactly when they said they would (big plus in my book), and the installation went very well. Because we were swapping a product with a non like product, there was a fair amount of space below that was now open. Dan gave me an excellent suggestion of covering that up with decorative tile. This is exactly what I am going to do. While they were there, we had them fix our sinking kitchen sink, which was basically free floating due to a poor installation by the previous owner. Dan fixed the sink and had it properly anchored. We will have the crew out again shortly to install the kitchen tile. Later in the afternoon, Robin followed up with a phone call to see how it all went. Great customer service. Excellent work! The only hiccup I experienced during the whole process was that Todd mixed up which day he was supposed to come by, but that was hammered out quickly. As to the actual job at hand, I'm selling my place, and my current door from the garage to my entryway has a doggie door in it, and that's no bueno because the door from the garage to the entry has to be fire resistant/fire rated, and a big hole in the door renders the fire ratedness useless. On top of that, the door itself was damaged and was starting to split apart. So obviously I needed to replace it. I'd called around to door installers, and some of the quotes I was getting were unreal. We're talking like, $2500+. For a single door installation. And this wasn't a single company - multiple companies were quoting that amount. I don't know if they were planning on installing some sort of solid gold/platinum door for that price, but I didn't need all that - I just needed the bare minimum to pass inspection. So it dawned on me to contact handymen places instead of door companies, and Robin and Todd really came through, installing me a door for a fraction of my quoted prices elsewhere. My appointment was at 9am, and right around then, Todd called me to let me know he was at Home Depot picking up the supplies and that he'd be there soon. Just before 10am, he arrived, ready to go. There was way more banging and grinding and hammering than I thought it would be, and for a bit I thought maybe my door was unreplaceable. But Todd was able to get through it, and now I have a very nice looking door where my old crappy door used to be. Really happy with the outcome! We wanted to turn our garage into a gym/storage space but it was in it's original 1969 state. I had a few people come out for guidance on next steps and a GC was the best route before finishing the project. I have to say I am beyond shocked at the recent negative comments, but whomever those folks are referring to is not the same company or contacts. I've had several projects done on my home and not one other contractor cared as much about customer service as Robin. Each evening I would get a call from Robin asking how things are going and telling me the agenda/timeframe for the next day. If I had a question about something he was right on top of it. This company excels in providing top notch customer service where so many other companies are sorely lacking. I was not an easy customer. The crew was greeted (tackled) by my huskies and WolfDog every morning and were very nice and accommodating to my pack even though one had a tendency to sneak in every now and again and steal a mallet or some other tool. It's too hot for me to keep my dogs outside right now, so many thanks especially to Anthony for tolerating my pups. Aside from my dogs, the day the crew showed up to start the job I had a "quick question" that turned a two day job into several week job. Initially I hired them to do a vanity, linen tower, mirror and light fixture. Then last minute I decided to do entire bathroom including tub and flooring. The pictures don't do the job justice.
