Robin replied quickly and the appointment was easy. I had water damaged in my cabinet due to a leak so the particle board needed to be replaced. I was given an accurate quote and the job was done well. The only complaint I have is regarding the appointment time but the feedback I got from Robin was satisfactory. Highly recommended. read more

If you need a reputable, honest and fair handyman, then Robert and his team is the one you should call. We had Steve come out for multiple jobs within a two month time span. The first job was for a faucet replacement for three bathrooms with old lines. The second job was to replace a corroded window board and third was to replace the bottom flooring I. The kitchen sink cabinet that was corroded and filled with ants underneath. Steve was awesome and got the jobs done. The price was very fair and reasonable compared to other plumbers and Home Depot. I called 5 different plumber with quotes and three quotes were more than $100 more for each faucet and two others said they needed to come To the house to provide an estimate. We will be using robert and his crew moving forward. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for an honest handyman that gets the job done right and will not rip you off. read more

I contacted Robin to install a new hood in my kitchen. After speaking with him, I was comfortable going forward with them. Their crew showed up exactly when they said they would (big plus in my book), and the installation went very well. Because we were swapping a product with a non like product, there was a fair amount of space below that was now open. Dan gave me an excellent suggestion of covering that up with decorative tile. This is exactly what I am going to do. While they were there, we had them fix our sinking kitchen sink, which was basically free floating due to a poor installation by the previous owner. Dan fixed the sink and had it properly anchored. We will have the crew out again shortly to install the kitchen tile. Later in the afternoon, Robin followed up with a phone call to see how it all went. Great customer service. A tip for you Yelpers: unless you have a big project, it would be worthwhile to have them come out and work several smaller projects. Might be more cost effective for you. read more

I had a huge 65+ year old patio built out of telephone poles (by my grandpa) that was deteriorating badly, and would probably have severely damaged my home if it wasn't removed soon. (Yes, I'd been ignoring the problem for a while.) I finally decided it was time...and I lucked out by finding The Handyman! Robin was very responsive, and work began & was completed in an amazingly short period of time - even with adding removal of an old carport. The price was reasonable, the workers did a great job, and I will definitely be using The Handyman for future projects. You should, too. Before & after pictures - it's remarkable. read more

All the jobs I needed done were done quickly, efficiently and to my full satisfaction. I had a list of a dozen o so jobs ranging from very small and minor - a nail in the floor that was sticking up - to more important - slate steps at the front door that were falling apart and quit dangerous for anyone coming up to the house. Robin came to look at the jobs, sent me an estimate and then sent Dan Reynoso and one other person on his team to do the job. Dan was great and kept me informed of what he was doing all along. He arrived at exactly the time he said it would come (almost unheard of!!! Thanks Dan) and worked quickly and efficiently. Robin's estimate was reasonable and the final charge was exactly what he had estimated. I highly recommend these guys! read more

I am very pleased with my overall experience. I spent time looking at reviews for a reputable company that was honest, fair, and just gets the job done. Overall, my experience was positive, and I have already recommended The Handyman to neighbors. I had the master bedroom, bathroom, 2nd bathroom, living room and doors primed and painted, and had a light fixture changed out. I am happy that I could trust them in my home - even when needing to leave. Isn't that what we are all looking for when hiring someone to work in your home? YES! read more

First of all: Robin is a delight. I genuinely enjoyed him as a person. He was a total professional and straightforward. It made the beginning steps of our garage remodel a total blast. Okay now the review-- We hadn't touched our garage since buying our home and it was time to give it a facelift. We wanted to start with ripping out the old drywall, replacing it, adding a ceiling , lighting and painting. I reached out to several contractors, who all gave very high quotes or didn't respond at all. Robin responded the next day and was out looking at our garage within 24hrs. He gave us a fair quote and was able to start our garage within the week of giving his quote. We were extremely happy with Robin and his crew. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right and looked great. Anytime i had questions or concerns, Robin made sure i felt taken care of and was always put at ease. I would highly recommend The Handyman for any of your needs! Killer work. Killer team. read more

Robin was extremely easy to work with. We hired him to remove a middle wall/fireplace that was dividing our living room and dining room. He had guys demo the wall and fireplace, replace drywall, then redo the flooring so that it all matches. We didn't have enough flooring and he helped us order additional materials. We received quotes from other people and his was the most affordable. In the end, the project took 2 days and we were quoted up to 10 days by other people! 100% would recommend and use him again for future projects. read more

Task: replace palm tree lights that were out. Robin was responsive and straightforward and was able to fit me in on very short notice which I appreciated. Appreciated the up front quote and the friendliness of the technician who came out. Would recommend and would call again when needed. read more

Excellent work! The only hiccup I experienced during the whole process was that Todd mixed up which day he was supposed to come by, but that was hammered out quickly. As to the actual job at hand, I'm selling my place, and my current door from the garage to my entryway has a doggie door in it, and that's no bueno because the door from the garage to the entry has to be fire resistant/fire rated, and a big hole in the door renders the fire ratedness useless. On top of that, the door itself was damaged and was starting to split apart. So obviously I needed to replace it. I'd called around to door installers, and some of the quotes I was getting were unreal. We're talking like, $2500+. For a single door installation. And this wasn't a single company - multiple companies were quoting that amount. I don't know if they were planning on installing some sort of solid gold/platinum door for that price, but I didn't need all that - I just needed the bare minimum to pass inspection. So it dawned on me to contact handymen places instead of door companies, and Robin and Todd really came through, installing me a door for a fraction of my quoted prices elsewhere. My appointment was at 9am, and right around then, Todd called me to let me know he was at Home Depot picking up the supplies and that he'd be there soon. Just before 10am, he arrived, ready to go. There was way more banging and grinding and hammering than I thought it would be, and for a bit I thought maybe my door was unreplaceable. But Todd was able to get through it, and now I have a very nice looking door where my old crappy door used to be. I would highly recommend Robin/Todd's services to anyone looking to get a small-to-mediumish job like that done. read more

WORKS WITH INTEGRITY, ON TIME AND ON BUDGET! As I work from home, I decided to build a workplace in my broken down garage. We just had our first experience working with The Handyman. I emphasize that it was the first time, because it certainly will not be the last! Robin, the owner, was very responsive from start to finish, fitting our shower door installation into their schedule within a couple of days. The fact that we were dealing with a licensed contractor with home building experience gave us added confidence and security. Anthony and his crew did an excellent job of modifying and installing our shower doors on what they discovered was an unlevel tub. The price we were quoted, which was quite reasonable and competitive, was the price we paid. We look forward to working with The Handyman again soon! read more

Many thanks to Robin, Dan and Anthony for their patience, attention to detail and just awesome job on my bathroom remodel. I have to say I am beyond shocked at the recent negative comments, but whomever those folks are referring to is not the same company or contacts. I've had several projects done on my home and not one other contractor cared as much about customer service as Robin. Each evening I would get a call from Robin asking how things are going and telling me the agenda/timeframe for the next day. If I had a question about something he was right on top of it. This company excels in providing top notch customer service where so many other companies are sorely lacking. I was not an easy customer. The crew was greeted (tackled) by my huskies and WolfDog every morning and were very nice and accommodating to my pack even though one had a tendency to sneak in every now and again and steal a mallet or some other tool. It's too hot for me to keep my dogs outside right now, so many thanks especially to Anthony for tolerating my pups. Aside from my dogs, the day the crew showed up to start the job I had a "quick question" that turned a two day job into several week job. Initially I hired them to do a vanity, linen tower, mirror and light fixture. Then last minute I decided to do entire bathroom including tub and flooring. The pictures don't do the job justice. I have another bathroom to do in the next few months and I can 100% guarantee I will be calling Robin and his crew to take care of that job next and referring them to all my friends and family. read more

I cannot believe how beautiful the project turned out to be. I have a a fear of contractors. From my experience, no one can recommend one because even though they get the job done, it is not what you want or expect. With Axel, it was way better than we expected. The attention to detail and professionalism displayed with him and his team is more than we can ask for. They went above and beyond. My husband is very picky and they made him happy. I cannot thank this company enough for what they've done. They took a difficult job and did it without any complaints or negative attitude. I would recommend them over and over again.
