Specialties
HandyBandi is the handyman Chicago and suburban homeowners call for plumbing, handyman repairs, carpentry, painting & drywall, appliance installation and accent walls. Every tech on the crew is background-checked, and our electricians follow the Chicago Electrical Code, so the work holds up if the city ever comes to check it.
We take plumbing Chicago calls around the clock: leaks, clogged drains, water heaters, tank or tankless, most fixed the same day. Carpentry covers doors, trim, decks and framing, and we handle the material runs ourselves. Drywall gets sanded to a Level 5 finish before any paint goes on. Appliances get calibrated and tested before we call the job done.
Every home repair Chicago job starts with pricing disclosed before work begins, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Same-day and next-day booking is available across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
History
Established in 2022.
Handybandi was founded by Vladislav Vasiukhno, a former IT entrepreneur who previously owned VictoryWow, a private gaming server business (2010-2022). After relocating from Ukraine to the U.S. in 2022, Vladislav moved into handyman work and established Handybandi two years later.
In 2026, Nick Kuprikov joined as a partner. He had previously worked independently and ranked as the top handyman for Chicago and its suburbs via one of Handymen aggregators, completing over 2,500 jobs and earning nearly 2,000 client reviews. Together, the founders have served an estimated 4,000-5,000 clients to date.
Today, Handybandi provides plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance-installation services across Chicago and its suburbs. Technicians are background-checked, licensed, and insured, with electrical work performed per the Chicago Electrical Code. The company holds a 5.0-star Google rating and continues growing its team, aiming to lead the Chicago market with plans for national expansion.
Meet the Business Owner: Vladyslav V.
I started HandyBandi because too many Chicago homeowners were stuck choosing between a stranger with a vague quote and a repair that didn't hold. My rule is simple: price the job honestly before we touch a tool, and stand behind the work after we leave.
Every technician on my team is background-checked, and we test what we install before calling a job finished. Call about a leaky pipe or a full punch list of repairs, you'll get someone who tells you what's actually wrong and shows up when they say they will, anywhere in Chicago or the suburbs.
