The line is only several people long when I pull up on a random weeknight at 630 pm. This quickly changes once I find my way to the entry, and within minutes, there are now 6-7 (insert Gen Z juggling hands) PNW'ers waiting for ice cream on this gloomy Tuesday. The location is easy to find with easy parking. There is no seating as every other Yelper has noted. Service is quick since there are several windows open. Aaand now to the good stuff. Brooo. This place...best. ice cream. ever. EVER ever. So creamy. Excellent texture, like a cross between soft serve and sorbet. I cant remember the exact name of the flavor I chose, Dough Notty maybe? Whatever it is, it was incredible. The other people I was with got Cotton Candy and Cookie Dough, and both report their flavors were the BEST. And the amount you get for a "small" is crazy - at least the equivalent of 2 big scoops. The value is right on the money as well - for 3 of us, all waffle cones and size "small", it came out to around 20 bucks. Was so excited to try even on a rainy day. No one was in line so we walked right up to the window. The menu is a little overwhelming, lots of stuff on there. I decided on a reeses peanut butter cup hurricane. We had 4 of us in our party & we got 2 hurricanes & 2 shakes. The girl who took our order was also the one making everything while someone in the back sat & watched. She seemed a bit overwhelmed. One person who was waiting in the back us gave up & left. It did take a while for us to get everything & only after she finished the 2 hurricanes, the other person stepped in to help her. I popped by on a rainy day, I didn't realize you can't go inside lol luckily they have covers outside but boy I can only imagine if it's ever busy, probably don't want to stand outside for your turn! I will say their menu seems chaotic and although I appreciate the many flavor options it's too many IMO. I ordered the taro sugar cone (I wanted the smallest possible) and it was still massive! Not complaining, pleasant surprise! I was the only one there, until after I ordered people started filing in line. First time to a Handle's and I gotta say it was a great experience. Arrived in mid afternoon on "opening day" 01/17. Short wait and plenty of staff so the line moved quickly. I had the Graham Central Station and it was fantastic. Ice cream was rich and creamy but not overly sweet. Also, I'm not sure how they do this, but it's not hard ice cream and it's not soft serve. It's almost like a custard consistency which the kids and I all really enjoyed. Ambiance was commensurate with a walk up window ice cream shop. Plenty of parking in the shopping center right next to Crumbl. I'll definitely be back, and I hope you all give them a try! read more

Quick stop here to check it out..ended up with a delicious hot fudge sundae! I am usually a Baskin robbins girl , since we don't have many choices for ice cream other than that or DQ in Vancouver. but that maybe changed now. ( Yes I am aware of the Yard, salt and strat and ice cream renessaince ..but who want.to pay parking downtown or try to even find a spot or mess with trying to find a spot at the waterfront!) Went on a weekday evening after their grand opening and there wasn't any line.my partner and I each ordered a small single scoop. If you order a waffle cone like I did they tell you it needs to be two small scoops as the small which didn't matter to me either way! A good amount was given :) the ice cream was soft and flavorful. There was large chunks of icing swirled into my birthday cake flavor scoops, I thought there'd only be sprinkles so I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the ordering process was pretty quick for us. There were others who ordered larger items like the banana split in front of us who grumbled about the wait, but it wasn't the case for us but we only ordered single scoops. The only downside is I WISH there was indoor or outdoor seating. The complex this is located makes it hard to sit and enjoy your ice cream unless you get into your car. Otherwise you feel rushed to finish it outside the establishment. Hopefully in the warmer weather there'll be some seating put out! Can't wait to try the other flavors :) read more

My family came for a scoop of ice cream each and left with a quart. There so many mouthwatering flavors to choose from! We were able to taste a few and each pick out our favorites. Each of us got a small, which were three scoops tall. So creamy and delicious! Every member of the staff was so sweet and helpful. When we couldn't decide out of two flavors which to take home, they immediately mentioned that with that size (quart) we could do both if we wanted to. So we didn't even. Been dying to try this place for months and it did not disappoint. Service was great and the price was great. Overall, I can understand why this is a five star business. I do like the flavors and taste at Salt n Straw more, but for the price you pay here, it's unbeatable. We got the 4 flavor sampler for ~$7. Salt n straw charges over $7 for a single scoop (split). Two flavors versus four for the same price? The sampler is much more fun. They also gave my baby a free vanilla cone. We will be coming back here for all of our ice cream needs. Absolutely wonderful handmade ice cream. My husband and I visited Handel's yesterday evening. I chose Chocolate Chunk and Carmel Latte. Both were excellent, but the Carmel Latte was to die for! My husband chose the Strawberry and he was pleasantly surprised at the chunks of strawberry imbedded within the ice cream. He also had the Almond Mocha. We will be back. You can tell this is " real" ice cream -it melts! And is so creamy, you can taste the love. read more

The ice cream is the best anywhere. The service however lacks speed and efficiency. Please ask the servers to put the ice cream scoops in water to clean between scoops. Makes scooping so much easier. They also will need more service windows open. Missing 5 stars because of the service. read more

It was not disappointing, we all had a difference flavors and we all LOVED every bite. Andrea the franchise owner came out and talked with us.
