Feeling WILDLY disappointed in this office. I liked Dr Mohty well enough and trusted his guidance - BUT when I received the bill I was DEEPLY confused at the extra $10 charge for medical literature. I'm looking at the literature that was printed out for me, it's a one sheeter about De Quervains tendinitis. So ten dollars for an info sheet, I'm thinking okay, maybe this was a medical publication from Dr Mohty and that's why he's charging so much for it...? Nope. I went to google the exact words on the one sheeter, and it pulled up cedars Sinai medical centers info on De Quervain. Word for word it was copied from this website. So when I called to inquire about the charge the front desk girl recited something along the lines of "well add Mohty has these brochures and he has the info in his own words" and then something like "obviously this is information that he provided you is something you needed so that's why he's charging you" and "he has treated thousands of patients and this has never been a problem" My problem is that 1. He is plagiarizing info 2. He's charging in EXCESS for a sheet of info that is online for free. read more

Dr Mohty is an amazing doctor! I had a terrible break and dislocation on my ring finger and saw him for help. This man is a surgeon and he helped me through the recovery of my injuries without having surgery! I would trust this man with any hand problems. My son goes in on October 2nd 2017 for a wrist x-ray. Insurance pays on October 20th 2017. I receive a 1st statement on October 25th 2017. Now on November 5th 2017 I get a 2nd statement with a red label stating if payment is not received within 10 days, my account will be turned over to a collection agency. Avoid medical facilities like this that have billing problems, you can end up with a damaged credit score. read more

I needed a small cyst removed from my hand and my experience couldn't have been better! Dr Mohty was terrific! I would highly recommend him for anything to do with the hands. read more

Dr. Mohty is great. He operated on my thumb several years ago and I thank him for giving me the ability to use my thumb again. I had a cyst which ruptured through the tendon - and it was sketchy for awhile, but he advised me what to do to insure good healing - and I listened and did what he said. I have total confidence in his ability and recommend him highly. I no longer live in Scottsdale, but I would travel to Scottsdale for his care if it were needed. read more

I can't say enough about this Doctor and his office staff. I was able to get an appointment sooner than later, the office staff was friendly and very professional. I actually got to see Doctor Mohty at my scheduled appointment time. what a treat.. Dr. Mohty was caring, looked me in the eye, made me feel very comfortable and most important listened to my problem. Not only did Dr. Mohty explain my issue and how to resolve it, he also gave me advise on future issues with my hand. I can not say enough good things about this office. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mohty. My son has had to see him for two different breaks with his fingers and this last one was not easy. Dr. Mohty is so kind. He saw us right away and scheduled my sons surgery on his day off because he wanted to get his finger fixed and healing as quickly as possible. If I could rate this place a zero I would. Worst experience with a Dr. EVER!! I saw Dr. Atef Mohty because I've been having numbness in my hand. I was asking a bunch of questions because he was using technical terms that I don't know and he started YELLING at me. Accusing me of questioning his knowledge and I didn't trust him and he's the best Dr around. Then I asked what an EKG was, I work in dentistry and you CAN see the Inferior Alveolar Nerve on an x-ray. He's trying to tell me that's bullshit and you can't see any nerves on any x-rays. Then at that point I started crying and I told him I was done I wanted to leave then he basically forced me to stay and kept saying no see I'm a nice Dr (still in a RUDE tone) and talking to me like I was an idiot. I couldn't even ask a question because he would get more mad! I cannot believe that even happened. COMPLETELY unprofessional and I don't give a crap if you're "the best surgeon around and I'll never get a Dr to spend this much time with me" I will gladly go anywhere else because of you're HORRIBLE patient service. Dr. Mohty has performed 2 hand surgeries on my husband and I cannot say enough about how great he is. His level of expertise is absolutely beyond compare. Dr. Mohty is also very personable and explains things in a way that not only elicits trust, but is easy to understand. It is obvious that he is passionate about what he does. Dr. Mohty's office staff is wonderful and always goes above and beyond to make the scheduling and insurance process as easy on the patient as possible. On June 29, 2017 Dr Mohty performed arthroplastic surgery on my R hand. As a therapeutic massage therapist, I was devastated, thinking my career in helping others was over. When I first called his office because of the pain I was experiencing, Angela answered the phone and reassured me that Dr Mohty was an excellent doctor with years of experience. She scheduled my appointment that week, and when I met Angela, she was the kindest, friendliest and most efficient front office person I'd ever met! And then I met Dr Mohty, who confidently reassured me that he could help me. Two weeks later, I had my surgery. He talked me through what I would experience with any pain and the healing experience. Yes, it was painful after surgery and there were times I questioned myself as to why I went through with this surgery. But I kept hearing Dr Mohty's voice in my head telling me every detail of the healing process and he was spot on as to every pain and zinger that I experienced which made it easier because he is so knowledgeable, confident and truly an expert at what he does. I was highly recommended to see with Dr. Mohty. I am beyond pleased with him and his office. When I was a child I had 2 screws placed in my wrist, over the last few months they started interfering with my daily life. After being recommended to see him, I walked in to his office and made an appointment with Angela (by the way, she is WONDERFUL!). I saw Dr. Mohty and he was terrific! He spend time with me, answered all my questions, and I never felt rushed in his office. After evaluating me, he said I needed to have surgery the next day because he was worried about my tendons severing. I had surgery next day, and could not be more pleased with his bedside demeanor, and his work. The screws came out without a problem! I am truly grateful for him taking me as a patient when he didn't have to. I promise, you will have a wonderful time with him and receive great work from his expertise, and extensive knowledge.
