She didn't hesitate: "Don't bother looking at anyone else in the Valley. Go see Russo." In that heavy accent. I'm glad I listened. As a nurse myself with 26 years of experience, I've seen it all -- the good, the bad, and the downright scary. Dr. Russo is one of the best. His father was a physician, and I can say with confidence his Father should be incredibly proud of the surgeon and human being his son has become. Dr. Russo isn't just a highly skilled surgeon with a stellar track record and excellent credentials. What really stood out to me was his bedside manner. He never once made me feel rushed. He listened. He cared. And you can tell he genuinely loves what he does -- there's no trace of the burnout you sometimes see in seasoned surgeons. On top of it all, he's a family man with kids of his own, so he gets it. He understands how a bum hip doesn't just affect you, it affects your whole family. That empathy came through in every interaction. I had a left hip replacement and walked out the same day with not just a new joint, but a new outlook on life. I'm excited to soon tie my own shoes again, to ride a bike pain-free, to live my life again. If you're considering surgery and you're lucky enough to get in with Dr. Russo -- don't think twice. Thank you Dr Russo!

This is long overdue, but I've been meaning to post. DR. LINDA LIU IS EXCELLENT!!…read more I started out with weird symptoms in my nipple. Went to my gyn, cytology was abnormal, had an MRI (also abnormal) and was referred to Dr. Liu. I was immediately impressed with her quiet confidence and calm factual demeanor. She mapped out a plan, genetic testing, more tests and likely surgery. She felt that it might not be cancer, but I was having high risk symptoms that would have to be addressed. After the tests came in, she recommended surgery & warned that I might lose my nipple. Also, Dr. Liu called me personally with results and to discuss treatment plans. My mother got all panicky and insisted on a Mayo second opinion. They agreed 100% with everything Dr. Liu had said. Throughout this process Dr. Liu kept in touch. The next step was meeting reconstructive surgeons, again Dr. Liu was always available texting as I interviewed three different plastic surgeons. I decided on Dr. Michael Meno and proceeded with both surgeons working together. Everything went fine and I ended up KEEPING MY NIPPLE!! I now have a matching set of perkier breasts that DO NOT have cancer! Dr. Liu was calm and confident throughout this process, she shared her cell number in case I needed to reach out with questions. This whole process of breast surgery was not on my 2024 bingo card, but if you are going through this, cancer or not, surgeons do not come any better than Linda Liu. I can not recommend her highly enough!

Eight weeks later, I went back to complete under my bra area and mid-back. Going into it, I was honestly terrified because I'm not a fan of pain at all. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Hall and his entire staff made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. During the procedure, I was shocked I literally felt no pain. Afterward, I went home, rested, and still had no pain just soreness. The next day was just mild soreness, easily managed with Tylenol. I was already up, walking around, and even working on my computer while following all post-op instructions. This has truly been an incredible experience. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can confidently say that Dr. Hall delivers on what he promises. When he says it's very minimal pain, he means it. And if you follow your aftercare properly, your results will reflect that. I am absolutely in love with my results and feel more confident than ever. I would do it all over again and I am! I figured I would just walk in and make an appointment since it's literally right across the street from my neighborhood. There was a lady outside who I asked what time they opened and she said 8:00. So I came in and the lady from outside was now behind the counter. I believe her name was Cece. I asked if I could make an appointment for a surgery evaluation, and she said, "oh we don't make appointments in person, you have to call" I feel like she was either having a bad morning and I thought she was kinda rude so I just left. I went and got in my car and contemplated calling for an appointment or just finding a different spot because of the treatment I received. But all of a sudden, there she was standing at my passenger door telling me she could get me an appointment. Her entire attitude had changed and she became much more pleasant. She said the person that normally sets appointments was not there yet but she wanted to get me taken care of anyway. I don't know if the correct person wasn't there or if Cece WAS the correct person, and quite honestly, I didn't and I don't care. The fact that she did a course correction and changed up her entire demeanor to be very nice and friendly was amazing in my opinion and I appreciated it. She took what could have been a bad day and turned it into a great one. So far this has been my interaction here but I have my appointment today (why I checked in, lol) so I will let you know how it goes from here.

Dr. Perry Evangelista replaced both of my hips this past year. I went to him for a second opinion…read more I am 62, and I had been told I had end stage arthritis in both hips by another surgeon. The first surgeon was very nice, but I wasn't ready to hear that news, and wanted to verify. Dr. Perry agreed with the first assessment. I chose him based on several factors. First, he is a trauma surgeon, experienced in big, messy issues. He also has a great deal of experience in fixing complications from old orthopedic surgeries. He was recommended to me by a friend who had many hip replacement complications- that Dr. Perry repaired. Another reason that I chose him is that he showed me something on my imaging that everyone else missed. And it was important! I'm a retired nurse, and I think you pick the one who fixes the worst of the worst, just in case. Dr. P. Evangelista was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and explained what he would do, how it would help, and what the potential problems could be. I am 6 weeks out from my second replacement, and I couldn't be happier. I've had no complications. I am able to do a lot that I couldn't do when I first saw him. I am able to lift my grandkids, get down on the floor (and get up again), and I'm walking without a limp for the first time in a few years. I am so happy to have chosen Dr. P.Evangelista. I would highly recommend him. The staff has been very friendly to me. Front desk is very efficient and has been very pleasant/accomodating when I've called. Melissa, surgery scheduler, is great. The MA's and Xray people are always really sweet and fun. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Her work was phenomenal and I wanted the same type of results and him and his team delivered exactly that. The consultation was done over the phone where Dr. Corey talked about my preferences and he discussed what he think might be best for me based on the information I gave him. I was very open minded with what I wanted and I made sure to mention the most important things to me; upper pole fullness and closing my cleavage was my top priority and I was flexible in the sizing in order for those two priorities to be fulfilled. He recognized off the bat from the photos I sent that I had some unevenness between the girlies and made sure to even them out during the final sizing. He was on point with the final sizing and profile. Throughout the call he was extremely EASY to talk to; literally felt like speaking to a friend. Never once did I feel like the choice wasn't my own nor did I ever feel like he was trying to steer me away from my choices. Many of my friends had experiences where other doctors were trying to convince them a different profile or a bigger/smaller size (a big reason why i didn't go to other well known doctors in philadelphia and went all the way here instead). Surgery is a very high commitment and it can be uncomfortable when your doctor doesn't really respect what you want, but this WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL WITH HIM! He was super informative, very respectful, and even funny lol. Despite coming from such a long way, the process was very smooth and they communicated with me how to estimate which sizes I would like best through a process called the "rice test". Even though I was weary at first, i can say the rice test is pretty accurate now that I am post op! It helped me picked the perfect size that wasn't too big for me but still noticeable. He is amazing and well versed at his job because he was able to suggest a couple sizes for me that I probably never would have picked myself, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted after i tried those sizes during the rice test. He considered my rib cage width, my goals and was realistic. I was weary about sizing and profile types bc I didn't want to look like the letter "P" and he did amazing at suggesting the size and profile. We quickly agreed on medium and 405cc L/445cc R to balance out my unevenness. His team was very communicative and even accommodated my request for an earlier surgery date when unexpected circumstances came up and I could no longer do my original surgery date. This team made me feel so comfortable and reassured me very thoroughly, even after I expressed that I was quite nervous as I have never had a procedure done before. I was literally a mess the night before because i was so nervous but looking back it feels soooo silly bc they took care of me so flawlessly. I literally came into the surgery center scared as heck but woke up painlessly with beautiful boobies LOL. The nurses, the anesthesiologist, the doctor, everyone was so friendly and made me feel more at ease before we got started. Even the recovery process wasn't too bad, Dr. Corey outlined what to expect for the next week and he was spot on. I followed his instructions and so far have no complications a week later (but I am a post op nurse, so I may be a little more familiar with post op care than others). Make sure to follow post op care instructions his team provides in order to prevent complications and unwanted results! Once again, Dr. John J Corey is extremely comfortable to speak to and I had an AMAZING experience. I got a bilateral Transaxillary breast augmentation and i love it to much! The armpit approach gave me no visible scars and anyone I've shown so far has been super impressed! My friends have gotten it under the breast and sometimes the scarring can be dark for women of color (I am asian) so I really appreciate that he recommended this approach to me. Ask more about this approach and whether if it's a good fit for you because it is amazing. The aftercare for this site is less tedious too! I cannot recommend this doctor and his team enough! Thank you so much for giving me confidence and being so welcoming :) I cannot wait to see my final results within the next couple months and hope to be in AZ again one day to show you my results in person. Good luck with every future patient!

Ok. The pain in my knee was so bad I was all but dragging my leg along so I relented. The internet research gave me a couple names that were interesting. My first appointment was with Dr. Galat at Renovation Orthopaedics. He answered all my questions, explained the process with visual aids and put my mind at ease. I read robotic knee replacements had a much higher success rate. Dr. Galat works with a robot and he explained (with visual aids) how all that works. Fascinating! Couldn't wait for my surgery. I had no fears after talking with Dr. Galat so was raring to go. I had become knock-kneed due to the loss of cartilage on the lateral side of my knee. Long story short, I walked out of his office after surgery with a straighter leg and a new knee. 4 days after I was in physical therapy, 5 days later I cast aside the walker he provided and 4 weeks later I was driving. Today is my 6 week anniversary and I'm walking and climbing stairs like a normal person. My pain level is down to less than 1 and my life is back to normal. My thanks to God for steering me to Dr. Galat and his staff. To say I'm happy with the whole experience is a gross understatement. Choose him, you'll be glad you did.
