Update Horrible horrible horrible I'm mortified I told him a month ago I thought I had a capsular contracture on the left side and he told me I was crazy and needed to accept the fact that no two breasts are identical.. then fast forward a month of me nagging them saying I'm in pain .. I go in and he grades it a level 2 bakers capsular I asked 3 other doctors they said it's level 3 for sure and I also have a double bubble on the other breast where he claims he "fixed" a pocket I had prior to surgery... which we NEVER discussed him doing or even mentioned pre op... and he didn't fix anything, he went below my breast fold and screwed up my clevage and caused a double bubble.... He is no help. I'll have to spend extra money and wait a whole year feeling self conscious about my breast until I can fork out another arm and leg to get them fixed Also I paid an extra 2,000 for internal bra to close my gap in-between my breast and you can invisibly see I have lateral displacement STILL... I have had nothing but issues for 5 years. This was the worst decision I ever made. I am irreparably deformed. I cannot afford a new surgeon to fix this disgusting mess that is now my chest. Here is my story: Breast lift and implant exchange in October 2019- right breast did not drop. I was advised to wait until they settled which could take more than a year. In February 2021 I had the surgery to drop the right breast. Immediately after this surgery I notified your office that my breasts were two completely different shapes. Again, I was told to wait until they settled which could, again, be more than a year. In November of 2023 I had my third surgery on my breasts. Immediately after this surgery I developed an indent on the bottom side of my right breast. It seems like something is too tight inside. I was told it looked normal but if I had to have it fixed it could be done. But I needed to wait for it to settle. After waiting for it to settle I had my 4th surgery in June of 2024 to remove extra skin. At that time I notified Dr Meger that I didn't think it was loose skin that it looks and feels like something is pulled too tight inside. I was gaslight and told that I am growing extra skin. That they looked completely fine but if I wanted to fix it I could. Of course I wanted to fix my misshapen breast. Immediately after this surgery I could that the skin removal did not solve the problem. At my next appointment I again mentioned that it was like something inside was pulled too tight. I was again told that my breast looked normal and made to think I was imagining it. That leads to my last surgery which was the 5th and took place in September of 2024. It was another surgery to remove the excess skin that isn't even the actual problem. I fault myself for going through with it even though I knew in my heart it would not fix it. Immediately after removing my bandages the next day, I let your office know that not only is it not fixed, but it's worse now. I was told it needs to settle. The indent is something pulled too tight and it's not going to settle. Today I was again told that my breast looks completely normal. read more

Had a bad bleed 4 hours after eye lift called him and he said apply ice packs that was on a Thursday night I had to call on Monday and he never told his staff about my bleed. They said it's normal to have a little weeping they said send a picture which we did and 3 minutes later they said get back to get to their office right away. They said its staff was great but his lack of concern amazed me 3 weeks later he said I needed a special eye specialist. His staff searched and found me one. 3 surgeries later and painful eye injections to break up scar tissue I am better but will never feel normal on one eye I truly believe he nipped something on lower lid of one eye. I was incredibly excited about this particular surgeon. I have been doing a ton of research and was finally ready to reach out for a consultation. Getting someone to respond took over a week. That's fine, I can deal with that, people get busy, whatever. When I finally did get someone to return my call/email, it was clear pretty quickly that she didn't really want to be dealing with me at all. While I understand Covid precautions, I assume if someone is going to cut my body open, they could be in the same room with me with masks prior to surgery, but everyone has different policies, it's a weird time right now. I get it, so...whatever. She let me know that they were currently offer in person or virtual consultations, but that I should do it virtually. I expressed my desire for an in person consultation, she acted like I hadn't said anything a responded with "well someone actually cancelled on me this morning because their dad got covid, so it's really better to do it virtually." Better for who? And why are you so irritated about that? Enough so that you bring it up to me? Unprofessional, but once again...whatever. Now when she said virtual, I was expecting zoom or some sort of video chat with Dr Meger or one of his nurses? Assistants? Nope. "I will send you a link to paperwork. Fill it out and send me pictures and I'll send you a quote." I was pretty caught off guard by this, so I tried to explain again that I had a few different problem areas/concerns and I was hoping to be ale to discuss them so we can see what might be realistic or what order I should address them in. Just several things. Again, she acted like I hadn't just been talking and asked me for my email address. I gave it to her and she hurried me off the phone. "Check your email and complete the forms." I should have know right then I wasn't going to be happy, but I'm an idiot and I decided to waste more of my time anyways. I did what I was asked. I filled out the forms and sent over all the pictures that were requested as well as one additional that showed an issue I had expressed as my main concern and stressed the importance of addressing. The response, (their half of the "consultation") was so incredibly disappointing. It did nothing to even acknowledge any of my questions, concerns, problem areas/issue. Went to Robert Meger for liposuction. Had a virtual consultation, was offered a great price. The day of my surgery I was a little iffy of the small o.r room a little scared. When I got out of surgery I couldn't even hold my head up, I was treated horribly by the attending nurse Teresa, she continously accused me of faking how I was feeling and she was yelling at me to keep my voice down and told me stop crying because I was scaring the other patients. I was given benadryl and fell out of my wheelchair and was accused again that I fell on purpose I was so humiliated. The ambulance was called and Teresa was so rude and told me (great this is gonna make our office look real good.) Long story short, I ended up botched! It looks like a am missing a part of my left hip and butt cheek (I have to either have fat grafting or make the other side match, fat grafting will cost thousands) and my right side is completely uneven and full of fat. Meger refuses to fix the damage he did and now I am forced to pay 8k with another plastic surgeon just to make my body look decent! As a nurse, I made the decision to have breast implants removed in exchange for fat replacement. After shopping for years before choosing Dr. Meger. Dr. Meger's work consistently appeared natural and of extremely high quality. From the beginning, Jovina set the tone for exemplary service by being flexible with scheduling, informative, and by coordinating care with a smile in her voice. The surgical team was top notch including the presences of an anesthesiologist who took time to explain exactly what anesthesia would be administered and that he would be present for the entire procedure. It was very comforting having two doctors present. Nursing care was compassionate and considerate. Dr. Meger was present for questions preoperatively and he phoned the day after surgery to check on my welfare. I have been seeing Beth the esthetician at Dr. Meger's office for a while now to remove dark spots on my face with the laser. I have never considered doing much else as I aged. Dr. Meger removed my breast implants in 2015. He listened and addressed every point of concern, without up-selling extra procedures or products. He will even give you a small break on cost if you're paying out of pocket and undergoing multiple procedures. My husband received a call that evening from Dr. Meger to see how I was doing, which was thoughtful. He won't work on you if you've already had breast augmentation unless he receives a copy of the records from your last surgeon, which I admired, as some surgeons will just head on in without knowing your history. There is something to be said about following post-op instructions TO A TEE, massaging to disperse scar tissue, not lifting anything or overexerting yourself until weeks after surgery, not choosing extremely large implants if your frame can't carry it. Most issues are not due to surgical error, but on the part of healing and whether or not one follows careful post-op care instructions. It's a gamble any time you go under the knife and you sign a waiver releasing the surgeon from being held responsible for said mishaps. Dr. Meger is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in the biz for a long time. He is also up to date on the latest cutting edge techniques in today's cosmetic procedures. As for the people who are leaving reviews about a physician they have never met or know anything about, SHAME ON YOU! The positive reviews outweigh the negative ones. Unfortunately there are dishonest individuals who post multiple false reviews under various names. These disgruntled people will go to any length to ruin the reputation of an excellent doctor. Dr Meger performed surgery on my face one year and 3 months ago. I gave the results a year to see if they would improve, but they have not. He left fatty tissue or something on each side of my face below the cheeks and on the neck. plus you can see the scar under my chin. Each side is puffed out, one side looks marbled. His response was it has never happened before. My sister had referred him too me because she had a friend who used to work for him. I researched him and I should have gone with my conclusion, but my sister went with me for the initial visit and convinced me to use him. In researching a good plastic surgeon, there should be many testimonials on their site from patients. The few that I saw on Dr. Megers site are employees and/or a couple of comments about breast augmentation. I wanted a good facial plastic surgeon. I had to write a review for Dr Meger and the staff! Small backstory first...I had breast augmentation with a breast lift (mastopexy) back in February 2017 by an unnamed surgeon in the valley. That's where my nightmare begins. I had multiple surgeries to correct problems that occurred and when I went in to this unnamed surgeon's office for yet another consult back around Thanksgiving 2017, my options were to go through yet another surgery to fix the problem, replace the implants or remove them. Of course, his recommendation was NOT to remove them. But I was told to take time to think about it and call back. I was leaning towards removing them but wanted more info. I tried multiple times over the next three months to contact the office and NEVER once was I contacted back by the surgeon or his office! I went in to Dr. Meger's office to see him about a Brazilian butt lift a little over a week ago. I have thought long and hard about this decision, ultimately deciding I was 100% ready to do this. I was very excited to see him and speak with him about this procedure especially since he was the first Dr. I had chose to see about this. The office is nice and inviting and so are his staff. When I actually met Dr. Meger, I automatically felt like he didn't take anything I was saying seriously. He gave me this strange, blank stare the entire consolation. He was short with his words and the whole room felt awkward at times. Even my friend who was with me felt the same way. To be honest, I was disappointed in my experience because I was so excited and was fully ready to commit to this big procedure. I will say the last woman who came in to speak with me about financing has a great personality and listened to every question I had. I really appreciated that. I am a 22 year old professional woman who makes more than the average person my age. I really do feel that my age is the reason why Dr. Meger didn't seem to take me as seriously as he would a 55 year old woman getting her 2nd boob job, financed by her husband. I just walked out of my second post op appointment and truly couldn't come up with a complaint about my experience if I tried. I am almost 6 weeks out from my breast aug surgery and am so, so happy with my results. The whole experience was fantastic. I felt comfortable and confident under Dr. Meger's care from day one. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and between Dr. Meger and his staff, they made my idea a reality. I knew what I wanted to look like, but was hesitant on the size of the implant recommended because I felt like it would be too big on me (I got 450cc). Theresa and Jovita explained to me that based on my size and how much muscle I had going into the procedure that the implant size would give me exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Meger agreed and so I decided to trust them, and man am I happy I did! They turned out exactly as I had hoped, so much so I barely made it out of the operating room before I was going on about how happy I was with my results... 6 weeks later and I'm still going on about it. Each step of the way they answered every question I had, which were quite a few over multiple phone calls, and were available to me when I needed them. My entire experience has been amazing! From my consultation, to my surgery, and after appointments everyone has been wonderful!
