Dr Moschonas has been caring for me for over 20 years. He is a thorough and detailed doctor who true gets to know his patients. He spends the time to ensure your needs are met. His techniques are gentle and by far the best I've encountered. read more

Front office staff and Office Manager rude, inflexible, non-patient oriented. Office phone answering non existent, messaging full and overflowing. Dr. Moschonas is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He listens to your concerns. He addresses them. He doesn't follow "protocols" like a robot. He thinks outside the box. He is a specialist in neurology, but he is first a doctor who sees you as a human that needs help. And he is there to help you. read more

I am a fan! My PC doctor sent me to Dr Moschonas because I've been having some heavy duty migraines. It took almost THREE months to get in, but now I can see why the wait is so long, he is GREAT! Super friendly, takes his time to talk to you and really seems to listen. If you are in need of a neurologist for sure go see him! read more

So after years and years of being patient of Dr. Moschonas I lost my job and with it my insurance. I was unable to see him but I was, and am still under the care of the pain doctor he referred me to. A couple of years had passed without me having my MS meds because without insurance the daily injections I need are well over $100 per day! I was having a decline in my ability to function. I discussed this with my pain doctor and he strongly suggested I go back and see Dr. M, even if it would be an out of pocket cost. I had to agree with him. So my pain doctors office called Dr. M's office to tell them what was going on and that I really needed to see him. He said that they told him they would call me with an appointment. Well, three days later they call me and say that they won't give me an appointment and that I had been discharged from the practice. I asked if there was a problem and if it was because I had not been there in so long. I told them I completely understand if I have to be considered a "new patient" even though I had seen him for about 10 years. And that if I had to wait a while for a new patient appointment that would be fine. She said "no, that isn't the issue. You've been discharged from the practice and he will no longer see you." I was COMPLETELY DUMBFOUNDED! Nothing had ever happened! I never missed appointments, been late, or anything! Our last appointment went just like any other. He never mentioned any concerns or issues to me. It just didn't make sense. I asked her if I had done something wrong or if he just wasn't seeing ANY "new patients". And she said (VERY rudely) "I don't know what to tell you! That's all the information I have!". When it clearly felt like there was some kind of issue that I just wasn't being told. So I told her I would like to discuss the issue with Dr.M himself. She promptly told me that since I'm not a patient, he won't be speaking to me. And that was it. I still to this day have NO IDEA what happened! He did start me on pain meds for the issues I was having but he honestly had to talk me into it. I HATE pain meds and I was terrified to go down that road. I took them AS PERSCRIBED, and most times I took less than that and he was fully aware of that. So to be clear, I NEVER called to get early refills or appointments, I NEVER asked to increase the dose, I NEVER "lost" my meds. So I truly don't know what the issue was and I'm very disappointed that they wouldn't give me the courtesy of a truthful answer as to why he wouldn't see me. His care had been going downhill as I described in my initial review but to be honest this treatment was really unprofessional! read more

Dr. Constantine Moschonas is a friendly, caring neurologist with an excellent and well-organized staff. He is very up-to-date with the latest research and, as I understand it, is very highly regarded in the medical community. He has always treated me as an intelligent person, and takes the time to examine my MRI films with me so I know at what I am looking, where my problem areas are, and how that might affect me. I have not had a single negative experience in his office, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of superior neurological care. read more

I took my 78 year old mom to see Dr. Moschonas for some serious issues. After we were put in the exam room, his PA Donna came in and did 90% of the appointment. She wasn't friendly and at times condescending and rude. Finally Dr Moschonas came in. He was a bit sarcastic but friendly. He ordered some tests and then left. We came for the follow up appointment a few weeks later and only was allowed to see the PA Donna again. This time she was VERY rude and seemed to talk down to us. She rolled her eyes at my questions and would answer my questions with a question back at me making us look stupid. I demanded to see the Dr but they said only every other visit. I will NOT return to this office and not because of Dr Moschonas but because of Donna! read more

The DR is great when you get him... The front office is not so much... Unbelievable! There was a missed appointment that never was made by my parents. They are on a limited income. My mom felt she was held hostage and had no choice to pay $50 in order to go to the next appointment in order to get the medication my father needed for his Parkinsons. They have never missed an appointment in the years they have been going read more

Dr. Moschonas is by far one of the most caring doctors I've ever had. If not for him I do not know what I would have done. He is so easy to talk to understands your needs. The patient portal is awesome. I've written to Dr M and I've gotten a reply like at 4am. Impressive Yes! I would recommend Dr Moschonas to anyone with Neuro issues. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Moschonas for nearly 8 years. A very nice fellow. Maybe too nice. His warm personality clouded my judgment as he failed to diagnose my disease for years. I was so assured by his personality that I failed to get a second opinion for nearly 7 years as my disease progressed. His answer was to "wait until it gets worse so we can figure it out". The second opinion found the problem after only a few weeks of tests. But, after some damage had needlessly been done. I also blame myself. Don't hesitate to get a second opinion. Maybe niceness isn't the most important thing to look for in a Doctor. read more

I met with Dr. Moschonas several months ago and found him to be one of the most uncaring physicians I have ever encountered. He is rude and arrogant and has little regard for his patients. Dr. Moschonas needs to develop his level of compassion for others. read more

Okay lets first say that I'm going through menopause. My doctor recommended me to see Dr. Moschonas. I seriously felt silly seeing him. He asked me why I was there and explained I'm not sure if it's even important at my age and symptoms. He asked me memory questions and was so intelligent, gentle, kind and informative. I don't remember having this feeling with any doctor. He said I was slow on a couple questions and just wanted to do a follow up test for precaution. They found a possibly problem I wasn't even looking at. I have a follow up appointment soon. This is the 1st time that I'm not worried to go to a doctor with results I wasn't expecting. I have full confidence in Doctor Moschonas. I hope this helps you. read more

Not a good experience! After major surgery with a neurological condition, he lacked sensitivity and care in the years following. I felt abandoned and betrayed. I experienced a ack of support from him and he minimized the concerns that I continue to experience. His lack of empathy has been an ongoing source of frustration with other neurologists, as they refer to him for understanding of my condition. If I could, I would sue him for a list of unprofessional and careless actions. Never never would I recommend him to anyone! read more

I am a patient person, and I spent a full 15 minutes (no exaggeration) on the phone trying to schedule an appointmen with Dr. Moschonas. I don't give up easily. However, after giving a great deal of information (insurance numbers, contact info, previous medical history), I was told by the scheduler that she could not set up an appointment before all medical history had been sent by fax by my primary physician. It was not enough that I told her I had the information and could bring it in--it had to be sent by my primary physician before I could be considered for an appointment. She would not even tell me how soon I could get in to see this physician . I need an appointment in the near future and know that there might not be an appointment available for months, since some specialists are very busy and are scheduled out for months. The fact that one has to send all medical records before even being able to find out when or if one can see Dr. Moschonas is ridiculous. Needless to say, this practice has shown no respect for patients time and medical needs. read more

Dr. Moschonas has been my migraine doctor for over a decade. He has kept me going for years by listening and acting. I have had many doctors over my life time who have worked on my headaches, but Dr. Moschonas went above and beyond by truly saving my life. I was having horrible abdominal pain and went to a very renowned hospital ER (twice). The first time after a quick evaluation they sent me home on antacid medication and pain pills. The second time I went with similar complaints the diagnosis this time was ischemic colitis. Several weeks later I had an episode of double vision and was very scarred. I called Dr. Moschonas' office in a panic and they got me in that day. I told Dr. Moschonas my story and I thought he would tell me the double vision was because of my migraines. I was shocked when he felt that the problem could be related to the ischemic colitis episode and be from small clots. He did a bubble test of my heart found a hole and had me seeing a specialist to close the hole very soon after that. He listens, he thinks, he diagnosis! Thank you Dr. M. you are the best! read more
