My family and I went there last year, and we really enjoyed their vegan broth ramen with pork. It was so delicious! Their tonkotsu ramen was good but was too light in flavor for what we are used to. Our server was great--friendly and personable and gave a background on how the restaurant got started. The inside is pretty spacious, clean, and modern. Parking is huge but finding a parking spot can be a challenge since the lot is shared by other businesses.

Hanami means flower viewing in Japanese so I was expecting to see flowers but I found bonsai plants. In any case, this place is cozy and decorated elegantly. No complaints. I was a little surprised to see it has an air filtration device running to keep the air fresh. It's a very nice gesture I thought. Its service was better than many Japanese restaurants I have visited. Hazel is friendly and attentive. I liked the spicy ramen I ordered but it was only mild. I looked for the ramen seasoning I had at other ramen shops but none to be found. :-(

Doing shopping in the area and this caught our eye, for something quick and fortunately when we arrived around 4pm-ish it was empty except one other group. There were people coming in from DoorDash and Uber eats. Either way, been to a lot of ramen places and been pretty lenient on the reviews. Not saying 3 is a bad review just to us it was good. Just didn't stand out too much. The inside was nice and clean, not sure how long this place has been there but everything looked very well kept up. Menu was pretty simple. Spicy garlic edamame was good, the Takoyaki was really good. The chicken karage was good as well. The ramen bowl was pretty good as well and it did feel as though they gave more noodles than some other ramen places we've been to. Service was on par and prices were typical . No happy hour, so in case you are looking for an extra couple of bucks off appetizers during happy hour, time. There aren't any. All in all I wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area, just wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but all around the experience was enjoyable. Everything was consumed.

The food was amazing! My friend and I came to Hanami after researching multiple ramen places in the area and we chose this place specifically for the tofu fries, which didn't disappointment. Tofu Fries: Very crispy on the outside with a nice chewy interior, went beautifully with the sweet sauce provided. Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen: Rich broth enhanced by the spice and paired well with the pork chashu. Yuzu Shio Ramen: Delightfully bright citrus flavor with a light broth base. It was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Overall, the service was good and the food was enjoyable. Not pictured was the mango passionfruit sweet tea and sakura milk tea. Both drinks were very good and the tea came in a big mason jar glass! This is definitely a spot I will definitely be coming back to!

Food is great, broth is flavorful. I add garlic and spinach but remove the bamboo shoots and egg. Nice atmosphere, staff is pleasant.

I have never been here and I came into the store to order, it was empty but that would be due to it being quite warm. But I am sick and have been feeling crappy, but it smelled delicious and tasted even better. The egg was jammy and sweet made perfectly. The broth was spicy and very deep in flavor. Overall a very good bowl of ramen for a sick girl. Will have to come in and dine in at some point, the restaurant looked clean and well maintained. Thank you for a delicious bowl of ramen!

I wanted to try ramen in the Cali area and this had the best reviews so we tried this place. Service was great. Food was meh but better than the disappointments I've had so far for my trip. The fried calamari was very crispy and the squid meat inside was nice and juicy and soft. It paired very well with the spicy mayo sauce. I got the spicy tonkotsu extra spicy, hence the three scoops of chili paste in my bowl. The broth was good but not enough flavor. The pork was nice and tender and fatty. I like that they add fresh bean sprouts and not ones that have been blanched. The egg however was not to my taste. I'm used to salty or yolky eggs, but the egg yolk was very sweet, like I was eating a candied egg. The Sakura milk tea tasted like milk with the red sala cider syrup used for shaved ice. Not my favorite. The boba was chewy, but tasted like it wasn't left to soak long enough. Nice shop for locals, but not for me.

Yuzu Shio ramen, Tokyo Tonkatsu ramen, some added spice on the side, extra noodle (to share), and a delicious Yuzu Lemonade.

Food/ramen = 3/5 Service = 4/5 Ambiance = 4/5 We ordered a Tokyo Style Tonkatsu ramen and a Yuzu Shio Ramen, with the Yuzu Lemonade drink. First and foremost, the noodle and broth were most of the score for both ramen, which were quite lacking, mainly the broth if I/we were honest, both we thought the ramen was fair, a 3/5. The egg was cooked well and tasted delicious. They are generous with the meat in their ramen. The chashu for the tonkatsu ramen was tender and melts in your mouth. The chicken for the yuzu shio ramen however was a fair bit plain. The corn was sweet and added to the flavor. It was mostly the broth flavor that was on the lower end of flavors. OVERALL = 3.6/5, but we'll bump that to a solid 4 because that Yuzu Lemonade was delicious.

Saw this new restaurant open up next to hobby lobby and decided to give it a try one night after work. Inside is pretty small and can become crowded easily. I was lucky enough to get a table right away but 5 minutes later a group of 4 came in and had to stand there until a table was free. A few others left because they did not want to wait for an open table. I felt the service was a bit slow. It could have just been the night I went. It took a while to get our order take. And our server messed up our table location with another table. When we were finished with our meal, it took a while to get our receipt to pay. Other than that the food was great. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen and gyoza. I ordered my ramen with extra noodles and extra seasoned egg. You can choose what type of noodles you want to go with your ramen such as white thin noodles, yellow wavy noodles or spinach noodles. I chose the yellow wavy noodles to go with my ramen. You can also choose what meat you want to go with your ramen as well such as pork, chicken or tofu. The ramen was delicious and the broth was yummy and rich in flavor. I also had a good amount of meat with mine which is always a plus. The seasoned eggs could have been a little better but they weee still good. The spicy miso ramen was delicious, the broth flavor was good. The gyoza was pan fried and packed some flavors to them.

The gyoza are good! These are pan fried, so they are still soft on top.

It took me a while to get used to the basic tonkatsu broth, mostly because of the garlic flavor I was not anticipating. I had ordered the #1 Tonkatsu Ramen. This is a creamy, long-time simmered pork broth. Toppings included a couple of very delicious, thick slices of pork that featured a ribbon of fat. The meat melted in your mouth. There was a whole, marinated soft boiled egg, bean sprouts green onion, and seaweed. Very basic, and mostly delicious, if only not so garlicky. But then, I admit to not being a ramen connoiseur. The things I loved were the pork and the soft-boiled egg. The egg, having been marinated and gently cooked, gave it its soft brown color, non-rubbery white, and unique taste that had an ever-so-slight sweetness. Lovely. The gyoza (6 pcs) were pan fried (you have a choice of that or deep fried) and had an excellent filling. By pan frying, a crispy little skirt develops that looks like lace and is fun to munch on. I would definitely bring my young gyoza-gobbling grandson here for this treat. While there are many ramen places cropping up in our area, some with fancier environs and menus that are more varied than here, I am impressed with the high quality of the food and reasonable prices they offer here. I will be happy to return and bring the extended family for a delicious treat.

Arrived around 1:15 pm and there was a long line so for me, this is an either a good sign or people are just hungry and there's no other choice. Signed up on their waiting list and waiting for about 30 mins before we got a table. IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND!! This is what we ordered: 1. XLB - 10/10 - freshly made, soup was very tasty, the filling was very flavorful. It gave DTF a run for their money. No need for ginger. Dip this in some chili oil and soy sauce and you're in for a treat! 2. Pork shiumai - 6/10 - it was good but not the best I've had. My least fave. 3. Schezuan eggplant - 11/10 - the best schezuan eggplant dish I've had. Fresh off from the wok so be careful eating this coz it is temperature hot. The flavor was full of umami, sweet, salty, and that sauce is heavenly!! 4. Cucumber salad - 10/10. Love the crispiness and garlic flavor of this app. Liked the addition of cilantro. 5. Garlic string beans - another 11/10 - it was a full plate of this all time fave of ours. Cooked to perfection!! Again a little touch of some salted black beans that added more umami flavor. 6. Dan Dan noodles - 10/10 - I'm a big fan of DD noodles and this was delish!! Love the freshness of the noodles and right balance of ground meat and flavor was spot on!! 7. House special chicken wings - 10/10. crispy, sweet, little tangy and BOMB! Lots of parking it's in a strip mall!! This place is legit! Service was great. Will definitely come back and try their other food!!

Unacceptable Food Handling Practices and Complete Disregard for Customer Concerns!…read more I was extremely disturbed by the lack of basic food safety and hygiene practices I witnessed during my recent visit to this restaurant. Although every employee appeared to be wearing gloves, I did not witness a single glove change. I watched servers clear dirty dishes from tables and then proceed to serve fresh food to other customers while wearing the exact same gloves. This is a serious cross-contamination concern and completely defeats the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. What made this experience even more disappointing was the response when I brought the issue to a server's attention. Rather than acknowledging my concern or taking any action, she simply looked at me, smiled, and walked away. No explanation, no acknowledgment, and absolutely no indication that my concern was being taken seriously. Management needs to take a serious look at its sanitation practices and employee training. Food safety is not optional, and customer concerns should never be dismissed with a smile and a walk away. Very disappointing and concerning experience. I don't care how good the food is, there is absolutely no excuse for such disgusting and unsanitary food-handling practices. Good food means nothing when basic hygiene and customer safety are being ignored.

The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This restaurant is great for groups of all sizes. We'll definitely be back to try more items.

Oh no! They have an impressive menu, very diverse. I like that you can order either large sushi rolls, or the smaller, Happy Hour, 5 pc. size so you can try more and not hate yourself as much when you waddle out the door. The rolls are beautifully made, made with very fresh ingredients, the ratio of rice to filling is perfect (i.e. not too much rice), and the rice is nicely flavored. Their tempura has great flavor, the poke salad is outstanding, the miso soup is rich, not watered down, but the biggest "prize" IMHO is the fish collar (kama), either salmon or hamachi. Here is where you separate the men from the boys. They do not sell old kama that has come from a food supplier's bag, frozen. They only use fresh, the same quality as their sushi, because it comes from the same whole fish they have selected to filet for sushi. Taste it and you know you have hit the jackpot. Before they broil it, they simply slather Japanese mayo on it and salt & pepper. There is something about the mayo that makes it sing a whole new tune. The kama is moist, tender, and comes with their tasty, house ponzu sauce. It's a real treat. Bonus points for being very reasonably priced relative to other sushi houses and they tend to be larger as well. To take advantage of the Happy Hour menu, it is available every day of the week. Monday through Thursday until 7pm, Friday through Sunday until 5 pm. It's an abbreviated menu but has great choices, fairly priced. Their service is tops, seating is limited (probably not more than 40), the interior is warm and quaint, and parking is no problem. And don't forget to respond to their friendly farewell with a duplicate, heartfelt "See you tomorrow" as you leave! Enjoy!

It is a fairly small dining room. Six booths of four max, six tables of four, and one table for six. No outdoor dining. While I was dining, there were lots of take out orders. The shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado with crab meat was divine. The presentation of the roll was beautiful. I didn't have to worry about the sauces as they were placed upon the top. Thankfully I was able to eat each piece in one bite. The roll was cut into nine pieces. So much more than I thought I would receive. Since I am not used to eating this type of food, I wasn't sure I could safely consume it the following day so I made sure to eat it all. I really enjoyed it. The teriyaki chicken was served on a hot skillet. So flavorful. I took the majority of the chicken and rice for lunch the next day. I came back a few weeks later and it was much calmer. The service was great both times. I would recommend it.
