Directors that have been with the company for 20 years drive in from Bethesda for him to work on their cars. With the glowing recommendations I made my next oil change appointment with him. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was ready by lunch. They did a standard inspection and I walked away only spending about $150 on an oil change and new headlight. I am used to spending $900-$2000 every oil change. This was such a relief to my checking account. I will certainly be a returning customer, and am thankful to be done with the dealership! .

Based on my previous review I knew when I had a flat tire, flat tire & auto was the place to visit to get my issue solved. I had a flat tire due to hitting something on the road so I came here and after the staff assess the one tire it was determined that it had to be replaced. It cost 185 dollar after fees and tax. I like that while one staff member was preparing my new tire another worker put some air in my other three tire which was going above and beyond in my opinion. It took only about 17 minutes from start to finish so talk about quick service to getting me back on the road again. After paying my bill I even got a 10% off coupon to use for next time which was cool. All in all, this place is still great and would highly recommend anyone with tires issue to come here and get it fixed for a decent price.

They recommended 2 new tires and an alignment so we proceeded. It took a long time because someone had stripped the lug nuts on one of the wheels but they still didn't charge much for labor. Unfortunately, that evening the tire pressure was low according to the sensor but I didn't believe it until it became very low. I called and they said to bring it in immediately and moved us to the front of the line to get another new tire. They showed us the problems each step of the way and explained the options and made things right, even though it became very complicated. The outside is rough looking, but they clearly are very skilled and give great customer service.

I had a very good experience in resolving a drum brake issue on one vehicle with Precision. When I…read moreneeded plugs and coolant replaced on my SUV I decided to go back to Precision. On vehicle pickup I asked the mechanic present what brand of plugs and coolant they used. He would not or could not tell me. He responded that they used whatever is OEM from their parts supplier. There can be lots of variability in parts that can be used, and claiming OEM. Simple question but vague, dismissive answer after paying over $1000 for the work. After getting my keys, I opened the hood to check the engine area (something I always do after having engine work done). Found a pair of pliers left in the engine compartment. Same mechanic came out seeing me with the hood open and asked if there was a problem, to which I said yes and handed him the pliers noting where I found them. Price as high as the dealer. I will likely pick dealer service in the future, all things considered.

First off, their pricing is very competitive. I've called around and compared with dealerships and other independent shops in the area, and Rising Sun Motors is right in line -- often better -- without ever making it feel like they're cutting corners. There's no pressure, no upselling, and no gimmicks. They just do honest, quality work. Junior, the owner, is fantastic. He's friendly, approachable, and clearly takes pride in running a top-tier operation. He treats customers with respect and makes you feel valued, which goes a long way. You can tell he cares about both the quality of the service and the overall customer experience. The waiting area is another standout feature. It's extremely clean, modern, and comfortable -- honestly nicer than many dealership lounges I've been in. They have good coffee, drinks available, a TV, and comfortable chairs, so waiting there is actually pleasant. It doesn't feel like a typical repair shop waiting room at all -- it feels professional and well thought out. The location is also very convenient, especially being close to the highway. It makes getting in and out quick and easy, whether you're coming from work or heading somewhere else. Both times I've been there, the service was efficient, organized, and professional. My car was taken in on time, the work was completed promptly, and everything was handled smoothly. No surprises, no delays -- just straightforward, reliable service. It's clear this is a well-run business that values its customers. I'll absolutely continue coming here for future maintenance and would highly recommend Rising Sun Motors to anyone looking for honest service, fair pricing, and a great overall experience.
