This place is an absolute gem! Located inside a country golf club. I got the Honu Hou combo which has a choice of their fresh poke and meat. I got the garlic chicken and it was the juiciest chicken I've tasted, not dry at all! Owner was ultra friendly, and actually from Hawaii. This Hawaiian joint is legit! Definitely check it out! Did I mention these are "Hawaiian portion size"! read more

We finally tried this place and WOW... absolute fire. Hands down the best Hawaiian food we've had in Southern Utah. The poke was insanely fresh and flavorful, and honestly everything we ordered was delicious. Every bite hit. It's rare to find a place where the whole meal is this consistently good. As fellow business owners, we really appreciate people who take pride in what they do. We own an ice cream distribution company, so we know how much work goes into creating a great customer experience. You can tell the team here cares about the food and getting it right. We're originally from California, Las Vegas, and Illinois, so we've had our share of great food. A lot of places out here struggle with consistency, but this spot absolutely nailed it. If you're craving Hawaiian food, do yourself a favor and check them out. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more

We stopped by for lunch on our drive from Vegas to Zion. It's located at a golf course and there's plenty of parking right out front. Hana Hou is family-owned and everyone was incredibly friendly, the owner even came out to chat with guests. The portions are huge, and the BBQ meats were phenomenal. We tried the short ribs and the guava BBQ chicken, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. If you're driving through St. George, this is absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommend! read more

Making awesome poke and Polynesian food more accessible in Saint George Highly recommend their Hana Hou Special Poke

Driving back to Vegas & was looking for a good local food restaurant. Honestly thought were driving into the wrong spot since it brought us to a golf course, but the restaurant sits next to the golf shop. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of space & great views. We ordered all the grinds from garlic chicken, to poke nachos & locomoco. The food was ono! So sweet, the owner came out to talk story. Family owned business working with his sons in the kitchen. We felt like we're were back home! Will definitely be stopping by when we're back in Utah. Mahalos for the great company and ono food come support our local small business & their Ohana, they won't disappoint. read more

Great garlic chicken. Actually best I've ever tried. And I'm not really that type of gal. But it was perfectly juicy, deep fried with a sweet sauce on top. Soooo ono. I love the view (overlooking the golf course) and it's so quiet and hidden. I also love the spam and eggs. Could use a little more furikake on the rice read more

I've been to Hawaii and had poke there and this is the only poke I've ever had anywhere else that actually tasted like fresh authentic Hawaii poke!!! Forgot to take a picture till I was halfway through eating it because it was so good. We also got the garlic chicken and teriyaki beef, both were excellent as well! Would highly recommend! read more

Wow, this place is Ono. First thing the restaurant is at a golf course and is spacious with spectacular views. Now the best part. The Hawaiian style poke is the best in the west I've had at a restaurant ever!!! Fresh ahi, perfectly roasted inamona, crunchy limu, crunchy onions, perfect amount of Hawaiian salt. Kalbi was delicious and the pulehu guava chicken was perfect. The marinades for both were bomb. The garlic chicken was also ono and the mac salad was just how I like it, peppery. One the to note, rather than having traditional cabbage at the bottom of the meat, braddah Paki puts furukaki rice, go figure, awesome. Paki also does smoke meat. His cuts are a perfect balance of fat and meat. His smoke with real keawe is perfect and his sauce is bomb. Braddah Paki is lagit and represent Waimanlo well. read more

Hana Hou Kitchen - Omg- Surf and Turf plate.. Onolicious - Hawaiian Near Me - St. George, Utah

Let me put ya'll onto this spot in St. George. Tucked inside the cafe of the St George Golf Club's cafe, is a legit Hawaiian restaurant. Don't go to the chain restaurant if you're craving Hawaiian plates, come here. The owner, Josh, and his family are originally from Oahu and they bring the island flavors with them to little old St George, Utah. The customer service was so good, they made you feel like ohana before you even get your food. I got the surf and turf plate, kalbi short ribs and fresh poke, made to order. You choose your protein and poke flavor. I went with Hawaiian which is the traditional shoyu, onions, green onions, seaweed, and macadamia nuts. It's over a bed of rice sprinkled with furakake and oh so flavorful. The ribs were tender with the perfect balance of sweet and hint of saltiness. Their Mac salad is unlike any I've had before. No shredded carrots, their version is speckled with black pepper and is more on the savory side, I was a big fan of it. Whether you're playing a round of golf, driving through, or there for a convention or your kid's sports tournament, do yourself a favor and check out Hana Hou Kitchen. read more

we got the surf n turf with garlic chicken and hana hou poke. proteins were good but mac salad was not the best i've had -- a little doughy. what tanked my review is that i saw employees drop plastic cups on the ground, pick them up, and set them on the counter as water cups. this was very unsanitary and unsettling to witness. read more

First time here and it did not disappoint, its a small place inside the St.George golf club, met Braddah paki and talked story little while about back home. Good to reminisce. Anyways, the food is legit, we had the garlic chicken and poke nachos, so much food took us two days to eat it and was still ono the next day. Food was delicious, beautiful view, staff made me feel at home! New favorite local food spot in the area!

Im originally from Oahu, Hawaii now live in Las Vegas. I can honestly say, they have the best garlic chicken I had so far...and i pretty much tried them all. Great crispy crunch outside and tender and juicy inside with a awesome flavor from the sauce. Not chewy and dry inside like some places. Mac salad was different but to be honest, it was winnahz, great flavor. Poke nachos was mean too. Chips had great texture and light. Huge portions. I was with a big group and everyone enjoyed everything they ordered. I will definitely be back. Great food and service. Go check them out. read more

Amazing food and friendly service! I will be back every time I visit family in the area, what a gem.

Crispy garlic chicken, melt-in-your-mouth Kalbi ribs, and poke nachos you'll dream about. We stumbled across Hana Hou Kitchen while looking for a dog-friendly restaurant in St. George and ended up eating here two days in a row -- it's that good! If you're craving authentic Hawaiian food in St. George, this is the place to go. Day one we tried the Hana Hou Bento (crispy, juicy garlic chicken with rice, eggs, and spam) and the Hamburger Patty Omelette loaded with Portuguese sausage, green onions, and gravy, plus a side of smoky-sweet Kalbi ribs. Day two was all about their fresh, flavor-packed poke nachos on homemade wonton chips and the hamburger steak... with another order of Kalbi ribs, because we couldn't resist. Every dish came out looking amazing, with generous portions and bold island flavors. The garlic chicken had the perfect crunch, the poke was fresh, and the ribs were tender and full of flavor. The service made the experience even better. We met both owners, Josh and Paki, on different days, and each gave us great recommendations and made us feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely love sharing their food and their aloha spirit with customers. Located on a golf course with a clean, open dining space and great views, Hana Hou Kitchen is a pleasant surprise. It's easily one of the best Hawaiian restaurants in St. George, Utah, and we'll definitely make it a regular stop whenever we visit. Highly recommend! read more
