My husband was researching for an orthodontist and we stumbled along Dr Han Orthodontics. After our consultation we decided to get it done. I have to say, it feels like home here. The staff was oh so friendly and Dr Han reminded me of an old friend /colleague/classmate. The staff do make you feel welcome... not just initially, but for every appointment we have had. With that said, my husband had always wanted straight teeth since he was a wee lad. Now as grown adults, we can afford to. And they do take FSA/HSA (flexible spending account / healthcare spending account). Secretaries are super sweet. The process of having your consultation: 1) Taken to an exam room for a free image/X-ray. 2) Dr Han will have his assessment and see what you're a candidate for. 3) They have a finance department for you discuss options and payment plans. They offer traditional/metal braces, porcelain braces, and Invisalign ranging from $4-5,000ish just to give you a ballpark. We started the process 12/2017, now it's 9/2019, almost 2 years in the making. Hubby wanted to go with the Invisalign option. With this track, they order the trays in bulk, 2-3 months at a time. The braces option, you have to come in on a monthly basis. With invisalign, every coupe of month or so if you are diligent with the plan. We're almost there, we stumbled across a few stubborn teeth. Dr Han is great and he is working on how to perfect it currently. I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Han if you need braces, or new replacement retainers. Coming here I was very nervous because you never receive good news going to the dentist! And if you don't have dental insurance you might even being crying at the end of the consolation because it will break your pockets! However, I was very SURPRISED and RELIEVED that Dr. Han was willing to accommodate and work with my situation. I came here to get my retainers replaced. I did a lot of price comparison for retainers before deciding to set an appointment. Retainers generally range from $150-500 for a single retainer. And I must say that this place is by far the most affordable place. I called different locations in LA, Alhambra, Orange County, and Inland Empire to find the best deal that I could. The retainer that I needed cost around $250 (which is very reasonable). Being a college student, $250 for a retainer is pretty expensive (being that this is my 3rd replacement). Dr. Han was nice enough to allow me to do a payment plan ($150 when my impressions were taken, and then $150 when my retainers were ready). A lot of dental place won't let you do this unless you're going through a service provider such as GE money to make monthly payments ( which is the same credit company that Gap and other department stores uses) only because it is a liability issue to their practice. Dr. Han was very helpful explaining to me why I would need this particular retainer and the consolation was free! He wasn't trying to up sell or market anything to me. He was very honest, and professional. You can definitely tell that he care's for the needs of his patients. The dental office is very clean, a lot of open spaces, at every dental chair there is a Macbook (which is presumably where they keep most if not all of their files- GO GREEN!) Both my husband and I decided to go our second time around with braces. I truly cannot express in words how appreciative we are to have found such a great doctor along with such a great staff. I am so grateful to be able to schedule my appointments during my lunch time. It takes me longer to get there (15 min) than the total time I am in their office. I rarely write reviews, so please bear with me. Dr. Han has been my orthodontist for over a year. I drive from the San Fernando Valley for my ortho appointments. Though there are plenty of Orthodontists near me, I have found two key reasons for choosing him as my orthodontist. The first reason is patient care. The staff at Han Orthodontics are knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly caring. I have been to 5 dental offices over the past few years. Each office had it is quirks, and most lacked a staff who valued the patient. In a time where bedside manner/customer service is severely lacking, Dr. Han has chosen to place patient care as a priority. I was referred to here by friend who brought me to a few of her appointments to meet Dr. Han and the team. Even when just going to tag along with her the atmosphere there was very friendly and welcoming. Dr.Han was more than willing to look at my teeth briefly, while there with my friend for her appointment, for free before having an actual consultation with him. I was never sure if I could afford to fix my teeth because of the cost but his team helped explain to me the options and types of braces they have to offer and price differences that made it less intimidating. The two years of going Dr. Han and the staff added to the amazing atmosphere of a welcoming and warm environment. Their customer service and patience is great. Every visit that I had I saw how kind and attentive they were with other patients including children. And if you have children to take to an appointment they have a nice little arcade/movie waiting room with a cool fish tank to keep them distracted. After several consultantations at other offices we chose Dr. Han. From the moment we walked in we felt so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Han is awesome. I think what drew me in was the fact that I had an appointment scheduled and we were seen immediately not like other offices we had been to where we would have an appointment and it took like half an hour to be seen still or if i wanted to schdule an apponitment it was weeks away.
