Best plumber I have come across. Knowledgeable and honest. Now, my go to plumber. Highly recommend Hamzeh.

Hamzeh has been my go to plumber for the past few years. He is amazing and always explains the situation.

Great service. Owner was attentive and quick to respond. I would use them again if I have future plumbing needs.

Here you will have someone who you can trust to give the proper advise and fix the problem. I had a peoblem with my toilet which needed to be replaced. He presented all the options and we chose to go the less pricy route. Problem was fixed and have had no other issues. Professional and will use them again for any plumbing needs. read more

GREAT plumber We have found Hamzeh to be a great plumber and have hired him twice over the past 5 years. He is fair, friendly, very responsive, and professional. This time we had a leak in one of our bathrooms. He was spot on with his estimate of how long he thought the job would take and made sure his work was successful before leaving. His recommendations also focused on being practical and saving costs. We are so thankful to have a trustworthy plumber that charges a fair price for the work. Hamzeh will definitely be our go-to plumber going forward! read more

We have continued to have reliable, professional, and fantastic service with Hamzeh. He is our go to for plumbing needs. While watering the yard outside this morning, I realized that one of our outdoor faucets was having a large leak. In over half an hour it had filled a bucket up! I called Hamzeh and he arrived within an hour. He helped replace the faucet as well as made adjustments to another faucet that was unsecured. He clearly explained his process in his work and answered any questions we had. We appreciate him looking out for us! With my busy schedule at work, I am so grateful for having a professional make these changes as soon as possible. I'm sure our water bill would have been enormous without his support. Hamzeh does great work and I always trust his expertise. Check him out if you're needing plumbing services! read more

Absolutely the best plumber around. Professional, knowledgeable, mindful of costs and goes the extra mile. Recommend without reservation.

Easy to talk to, fast to respond, on time, and fixed the main sewer line problem on a Saturday. Hamzeh is recommended!

Very very very expensive ! Never again. Don't call for free estimate as his total price will be much higher then any plumber hourly charge

I've been using Hamzeh for a few years now. He's always on time, honest and get the job done! My two boys just clocked their toilet and shower (again). Just got off the phone with Hamzeh and he is coming tomorrow! Thank you Hamzeh! Because you dealt with my sons' shit so that I don't have to! read more

Hamzeh is a fantastic plumber, as is his right hand man Ed. But more than being just a great plumber, he's just a really smart guy who's great at problem solving in general. On top of that, he's on time, he's prompt, he works very efficiently, and he's fair in terms of price. When he finished the job faster than expected, he took a chunk off the bill, even though I had already agreed to paying the full amount. We had an emergency, he was able to come out the next day, and even during prime traffic hours in the bay area he was on time. He checked everything, and we agreed to put the estimate cost (175) towards the final bill, which I thought was very fair, since he did a very thorough job of inspecting the crawlspace and pipes. He took videos so I could see what was happening, and he was very keen on educating me about plumbing, which was kinda cool. My house is set up so that the pipes in question are very hard to access, so originally we thought we were going to have to break open a wall to get to the pipes, which would require us getting a contractor and spending a ton of $$$. Hamzeh and Ed brainstormed up a way of accessing the dishwasher, and the pipe set up was done in a way that make it very difficult for them -- but saved me a ton of money because we didn't have to get a contractor to basically demolish and rebuild sheetrock / drywall. If I have other issues, I would definitely call Hamzeh, as I feel like I can trust him to accurately diagnose the problem and come up with a future-proofed solution. read more

You will not be disappointed. I just called him showed up in 15 minutes . he spend half an hour checking the place diagnostic problem and he did not want to charged for his service. thank you. He is honest and knowledge you deserve 10 star. read more

Hamzeh was punctual and took care of business. We had some backflow problems due to a blockage near the sewer main. Hamzeh used a bladed snake tool to clear it out, which is better than the plumbers that just use a snake (no blades). The blades were able to pull out a surprise visitor in the sewer lateral: a rat. I've uploaded a picture as proof. Hamzeh was professional, courteous, and effective. Highly recommended. read more

Hamzeh has helped with two problems in expert fashion! First was repairing a mess of a bathroom sink piping job by old owner and the second was fixing the hot water flow of our kitchen sink. He was super personable, on time, and clean. During the kitchen sink job he noticed some tubing didn't have clamps, so he pointed it out and even added one for us as a courtesy. Fair pricing. Totally recommend! read more

My shower drainage was clogged. Called Wizards Plumbing and they suggested me to replace the whole sewage pipes for $6800! Himzeh came and opened it for $200! Within 24 hours! He's friendly and professional, get the job done and have great work ethics! I would recommend him to everyone! read more

Hamzeh is the great. I would hire him again and recommend him for sure! My garbage disposal was leaking. I shared some photos of the situation with him, and he came the next morning as promised. He was extremely friendly, diagnosed & showed me the issues, promptly replaced my disposal, and gave me tips on how to maintain the new one. He also stuck to his quote. It's comforting to know I have someone friendly & professional I can rely on in the future. read more

I needed something fixed in my shower in my condo and called Stephen Plumbing Services. The number was answered by Bell Plumbing. When they came out someone from Smelly Mel's Plumbing showed up. They gave me an estimate and I felt it was high plus I wasn't sure what company I was actually dealing with. I called around to get a few more estimates so I called First Call Plumbing. They were 'too busy' and brushed me off. Then I called James Caccia Plumbing and their receptionist told me they don't do any work in HOA buildings. I called Hamzeh Plumbing and to my surprise, Hamzeh himself answered the phone. I described the problem and sent him a few pictures. He understood what the problem was and was at my place later that morning. He fixed the problem and charged my much less that what I was previously quoted along with a one year warranty. Hamzeh is a great guy and promptly fixed my problem. I always prefer to support smaller companies (or the individual in this case). I highly recommend him for plumbing work on the peninsula. read more

I've not been able to use my dishwasher for a good month or so due to an air gap/hose issue. This was quickly diagnosed, on the phone, mind you and rectified in a span of 30 minutes by Hamzeh upon his arrival. The man is honest and provides a fair and reasonable price for the job. His work definitely warrants a 5 star rating and others obviously agree with me! Going forward, I will lean on him for my plumbing needs. Thanks once again Hamzeh! Just an update. I like Hamzeh but the last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. He installed the faucet for me and as I asked him for the fee, he threw numbers out and was really astonished to the figures he provided. I ended up paying $300 to my dismay. I called another plumber and he noted $100 for the install so lesson learned. read more

6 stars. Honest, great at his job, does he what he says he is going to do, fun, responsive. What more, I had a gnarly job (pipes breaking under the house) and I was freaking out. He took it down. If you need a plumber, hire Hamzeh. Begin chant: Hamzeh - Hamzeh - Hamzeh read more

Hamzeh saved the day!! My downstairs neighbor informed me that water was leaking down into his kitchen. I called my HOA/property manager and they sent in Pro-Roto, who they have a contract with. The plumber from Pro-Roto was "100% sure" that our kitchen drain has rotted and he needs to cut the ceiling in my neighbor's unit and fix the problem. He said it will cost me $3,600 and the job will take 3-4days. I asked him for more color to the situation, and he said he "didn't want get in between the HOA and me". I found this to be odd. I called Hamzeh since his Yelp reviews were solid. He said he would like to take a look and diagnose the problem. He came over and within a minute (I kid you not) he identified the problem, didn't have to cut my neighbor's ceiling, fixed the problem and cost me only $950. His whole process is great. He gives you advice and explains everything with pictures. He saved me a lot of money and time since he finished the job in an afternoon. If you have any problems, just give him a call and see what he says. He is a professional and a true pleasure to work with. Thank you, Hamzeh! read more

Hamzeh has been a lifesaver. Not once, but many, many, many times. He fixed a main sewer line problem, upgraded three toilets perfectly, fixed a problem with my shower, identified and stopped several leaks, replaced my dead garbage disposal and related pipes, and helped with countless other problems. Hamzeh is a perfectionist. He is honest, prompt, and extremely fair. Have a plumbing issue? You MUST call Hamzeh! read more

Like the other reviewers say: Hamzeh is a lifesaver who you'll really appreciate if you've been wrestling with so-so pipes or so-so plumbers. He quickly replaced a ton of 70-year-old galvanized steel pipe and corrected a bunch of mistakes wrought by earlier repairs. Three things stand out: (1) Hamzeh knows his stuff. He not only knew how to rebuild an ancient shower valve in my house, but he knew where to get the 20-or-so arcane gaskets we needed. (2) He does not cheap out on the parts. Yes, you're the one paying for the parts, but here's the point: You're paying a plumber for the hours needed to install something. If he installs a cheap valve that will need replacement soon, then you saved $1 on the part and you'll pay for it in, say, $300 worth of labor 2 years from now. So listen to Hamzeh: Use decent quality parts. (3) He lays out all the options for you. This goes with #1, above. He's got the experience to know what the various options are in a given situation, and he'll spell them out for you. read more

Thank you! Super nice person, came on the same day (squeezed us into an already busy schedule). Identified the problem right away (broken pressure regulator). Came back, fixed it the next day with a high quality job...our water pressure is amazing. So nice to meet someone that has pride in a job well done. read more

I woke up one morning hearing this gargle / bubbling noise from the toilet. Not really thinking anything of it, I started to do laundry, and this is where things got bad. Soapy water started backing up into the tub and my toilet wasn't flushing. With only 1 bathroom in the house, I needed a plumber sooner, than later. Hamzeh to the rescue! Hamzeh gave me an hour window and he showed up on time. Turns out when you get that bubbling noise from the toilet your sewage line might be broken. Without a clean out, Hamzeh snaked the sewage line through the toilet and pulled roots and even worms! He pointed out that when he pulls worms, it's a sure sign that your line has been broken for awhile. When he was done, he made sure he cleaned up the mess and sanitized my bathroom, bonus points. While working with Hamzeh I felt that he was genuine and really knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him, and would work with him again if needed (hopefully not anytime soon). read more

Hamzeh is a great man. I am very pleased to have worked with him. He is a hard working and honest person. He will never take you for a ride unless you are in his cab and you tell him where to go (he is also a cab driver;). He has an incredible humor and is very funny and makes you feel comfortable being around your place. Hamzeh is very punctual and works for a reasonable price. He will get the job done in no time and will stand by his work. The final line, you will not regret working with Hamzeh. His plumbing knowledge is unquestionable and you will make him your go to plumber once you decide to hire him for your plumbing needs. I admire hard working honest people and that's why Hamzeh is the person I refer to all my friends and colleagues when they have plumbing problems. read more

We have a slab foundation home and needed to access a blown pipe beneath the bathtub. We had quite a few plumbers come out. Some had lower prices than Hamzeh, but they had little in the way of warranties. Some had higher prices, but seemed uncertain they could do the job without taking apart our entire bathroom. Hamzeh is honest, and does what he says he will do. He literally chiseled the concrete which took him more time but cost us less money. He left the place clean, and my parents have sworn to call him when they need plumbers again, just as we will. Great work, ethical guy. Highly recommend! read more

Our water heater died and our original plumber wasn't able to come out immediately, so we called Hamzeh. He showed up on time, got started right away and worked into the night. Gave us an estimate and stuck to his price. Very courteous, detailed and explained all his work. Hamzeh replaced our 75 gallon unit with 2 x 50 gallon units and tied in a bypass feature in case one unit goes out. The install looked very clean. Would definitely use him again! read more

This is long overdue but I highly recommend Hamzeh! We own a 4 unit building and always have random issues popping up with our tenants' toilets, sinks, water heaters, showers... I'm pretty sure I wrote a review of Hamzeh Plumbing the last time I needed him, but here's another. Toilet clogged up and I couldn't get it unclogged using a plunger, which is the full extent of my plumbing prowess. So I called Hamzeh mid day today. He answered his phone and agreed to come by early evening. He called when he was on the way, arrived in good time, was cheery and friendly and not grossed out by my plumbing problems. He fixed it in about 15 min., completely cleaned up that gross, awful toilet and gave me a few tips on how to keep it working well. If you had to imagine the perfect plumber, it would look just like Hamzeh!! Don't think twice -- just call him first! read more

We moved into a new house two years ago. For two years we had HomeGuard HomeWarranty, and they charge a lot also sent us not really good technicians. We have two dishwashers and we always had a problem one of them, like pipes were leaking water to cabinets, it wasn't draining very well etc. Whomever HomeWarranty sent us they couldn't find what was wrong. I called Hamzeh, he was close to our house and he stopped by in an hour, checked the dishwasher and sink pipes. Then two day later he came to repair them. He did really good job, he showed me what was wrong. Dishwasher was standing on the pipes and didn't get enough water and didn't drain very well because of all these pressed pipes. And he showed me how it was leaking water so close to the socket. Thanks god we didn't burn the house. He replaced all the pipes then replaced sink's pipes with thicker pipes, also gave them better way to drain the water. He did really good and clean job. Thanks to him. read more

Hamzeh Plumbing - Water was leaking from dishwasher to the socket, horrible! And you can see how bad is the floor because of bad pipes - Plumbing Near Me

Plumbing problems are problems we all fear for one reason: we are never sure on exactly who we can rely. Rest easy, Hamzeh Plumbing is the best plumbing expert you will ever need. Hamzeh helped us a long while back while he was with another company so we were especially happy we tracked him down and that he is now on his own. In a word, Hamzeh's plumbing services are superb. First, when he says he will be there at a certain time -- he is! That fact, alone, should deem him trustworthy. Second, he is supremely knowledgeable about whatever plumbing issues you may have. Third, he works on holidays. Today, we had a dishwasher plumbing problem and Hamzeh said he could come out to take a look. He said he would arrive at 10:00 a.m. and he was ringing our doorbell at 9:58 a.m. Knowing how sacred our hardwood floors and carpets are, Hamzeh came prepared with the worker "booties" and walked in to tackle the problem. Within a few minutes, he figured out what was wrong. Resolving it, I thought, may require more time since we had to change out some rubber piping. Lo and behold, he does carry plumbing parts in his truck. That time savings was perfect and convenient. His service did not stop there, however. Once he switched out the parts, his re-assembly of the kitchen faucets was just as meticulous. Not happy with the way it looked, he took a few more minutes to make it look perfect, then added some extra sealing that is going to benefit us later. Hamzeh also is extremely personable. His style is quick, but not rushed. His prices were competitive, but extremely reasonable. What's more, he does not try to upsell you. For example, we had an ancillary problem with an Insta-hot kitchen faucet. Hamzeh advised me of what to do and what we needed, but was fine with me calling him back when we were ready. That advice, and patience, in a professional is refreshing considering we have had service persons come out and, on occasion, try to talk us into a complete remodel when all we needed was a touch of paint. Overall, fellow Yelpers and friends, if you have any plumbing issues at all, you do not have to look any further; Hamzeh Plumbing is the way to go. Hamzeh Plumbing is licensed and offers a limited warranty on his work. read more

Like most people, we never think about plumbers until we are in a crisis! On Sunday, July 6 our waterline from the floor to the fridge's ice maker started leaking. Turns out the old tube had been broken by the previous owners and patched together with tape! As water was quickly leaking on to the kitchen floor we called Hamzeh! Hamzeh was at our house in San Mateo in less than 15 minutes. He is very polite and courteous with a great sense of humor. We found his prices fair and reasonable considering it was Sunday too! read more

Thank you Hamzeh! Our sink was linking, I though I need to change a new cartilage. Last time I got ripped off from Cacciatore plumbing. For a small job, less than 10 ,mis and charged me $300. So this time I searched nextdoor and yelp again and again. I contacted several plumbing company before I decide to have hamzeh come over. He came over less than 20 mins and no charge at all. It was just a loose part. I am so thanksful his honest. He earned our business in the future. We will call him next time for sure. read more

Hamzeh continues to impress...Came out with only 12 hours notice to replace a leaking fill value. When he left, the unit working flawlessly, he had rerouted some of the piping for improved access and the room was spotless. Oh, and his prices are as reasonable as you'll ever find. Supporting a local businessman who takes pride in his work (and enjoys it, too) is easy when the result is of this caliber. I would never consider using anyone else. read more

Hamzeh is great! We discovered a leak in one of the pipes for our water heater the night before. We called someone else first but never received a response. Hamzeh responded quickly the next morning and was over in 20 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and knew exactly how to handle our problem. There were two outcomes for us in the fix: either he'll try to replace the pipe and hope it works or he'll have to replace the whole thing. He was nice enough to try the pipe replacement before doing the whole thing and said that he'd only charge us for whichever ends up fixing the problem. Fortunately for us, he was able to fix the problem simply by replacing the pipe. Before he left, he gave us tips on what to do during the next water heater break down. Great attitude, great to work with and he has some great jokes! Would definitely recommend! read more

I called Hamzeh after noticing odd smells in my bathroom and was concerned it was coming from pipes. Hamzeh came and told me there was no reason to inspect them as the issue was an improperly sealed toilet. He ended up replacing the toilet (which was my choice) and also quickly fixed my slow draining sink. He's very honest. Highly recommended. read more

We called several plumbers when our toilet was clogged at 730pm. No one answered except for Hamzeh. He arrived that evening. Turns out our pipe was cracked and the toilet was cracked. He walked us through everything and then provided a very reasonable quote. We agreed to have him start the job immediately. He took extra care to protect our hardwood floor and carpet as it was our hallway bathroom. He was super considerate to the fact that we have a newborn and needed the work done ASAP. Very meticulous and professional. The job took two days only because we didn't call him until late evening. He tested everything before leaving. He kept his equipment, tools and work area very tidy. You would have never known he was there when the job was done. He has definitely earned a customer for life. We plan on using him again when we're ready to have our gas pipe moved.
