Based upon the 5-Star reviews, I called Fox Plumbing and he called me back in about an hour. James told me that he could come later in the afternoon. When his scheduled cleared and was able to come earlier. My garbage disposal broke down and appeared to have rusted. I purchase a similar model to replace it. James was able to remove the old unit and install the new unit within about 30 minutes. He was fast, efficient, professional, and clean. This is a review about the great, 5 star service I got from James at Fox Plumbing, but I have to write about the ZERO star service from Wizard Plumbing first: I contacted Wizard Plumbing for a clogged drain. I've had it happen before (about 8 years ago) and in fact added an easy access pipe to make it easier to snake in the future. Wizard came out and spent an hour and a half crawling under my house and trying to snake the pipe. At the end I paid them $600 for failing to snake the drain and they offered me a quote for almost $10,000 to repipe 40 feet of pipe under my house. I called James at Fox, told him the whole story he came over within 1/2 an hour and had it snaked and working in about 15 minutes. He charged me $260 and offers a 6 month guarantee. Our kitchen sink had some drain issue, and we reached out to another plumbing company. 3 guys came and spent 1 hour, and said they need a jetter to clean the clog, and gave me a quote of $$1215 to fix it. Then we thought we may need a second opinion and then reached out to James. He came and fixed the drain issue within 1.5 hours. He fixed a clog in less than 20 minutes that a previous team of THREE plumbers could not fix!! He just knew exactly what to do and bam, got the clog out. If you're curious it was for a complicated double sink setup where it was extra challenging to get the snake down the right pipe. But not for James! The 5-star reviews he gets are well deserved. We had an issue with our toilet and he replaced the intake valve. He was on time, professional, and there were no surprises in his very reasonable quote. A couple months later, the toilet started running again. He came back and discovered there was a second issue with the flapper that he didn't catch the first time. He spent an inordinate amount of time running around to find the right replacement flapper. And because it was related to the first visit, he did not charge us anything, even after I offered. Awesome plumber. Spoke with James over the phone to schedule an appoint to inspect my main water line value leak. I texted him pictures after our call and he was able to give me an estimate over the phone. Even with the photos in hand, he still offered to stop by to inspect the leak. Since he is a sole proprietor, he was more flexible in dealing with unexpected complications than others we contacted for estimates. He came out to help with a drain line that we needed snaked, but then we encountered a secondary problem that made it much more complicated, partly because of the difficulty accessing the drain line.
