If I could give this absolute dump ZERO stars I would. The elevator doesn't work and clearly hasn't for some time and even though there is no elevator, they refuse to bring a towel to our room and of course they have no daily room cleaning or replenishing. So if you need anything you're expected to swallow up and down three flights of stairs to get it in the lobby. I am fully vaccinated and agree with every possible Covid related restriction. But no one in the hotel including staff wear masks. How about putting a mask on and provide ACTUAL customer service and provide at least towel service. Also, the shower had no anti- slippage at all, and all four of us almost fell. The toilet seat would not stay up for the men, and last but not least: THE RUDEST lobby attendant I have ever encountered. He has no business working in public service. Do you yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else. read more

For a mid-priced hotel, this is a great place to stay. It is clean, convenient and the staff is friendly. The beds are really comfortable and I loved the bedding. They have an indoor pool and spa and a small fitness center. Free Continental breakfast. A big -plus for the free computer access and printer in the lobby. read more

Really bad experience - find another hotel! There looked to be nice ones immediately next door. Elevator was broken and only available room was on 3rd floor so we had to lug our stuff up the stairs. Room smelled FUNKY. Turned on AC and it was loud and took forever to cool down the room (hours!). Shower had zero water pressure, just a trickle at best. Bed was hard as a rock. Stains in the carpet everywhere. Looked like dried boogers on bathroom wall. Seriously can't make this up! I "might" expect this at a sub-$100 hotel but this room cost $169/night and was one of the worst experiences. Super disappointed. read more

I have been here now 5 nights and here is my list of Pros and Cons. PROS Clean spacious rooms Good and clean breakfast area Coffee available 24/7 Clean pool area Decent gym (provided earbuds available in the gym) Friendly staff Close to mall Close to restaurants Free parking CONS Very thin walls I could hear the folks above me talking and next to me. Water never stays hot in shower... Goes hot warm hot warm. TV other than local are on East Coast time. (Tried to watch Spike TV Lip Sync Battle and it was 3 hours off according to the TV Guide) If your on the second floor you can hear when folks above you take a shower and flush loud and clear! Doors slam closed. This is especially annoying when people leave their room at 6am. Unfortunately, not a 100% Hampton Inn positive experience. read more

I've been to a ton of different hotels (ranging from $3/night to $1000/night) and I have to say the staff at his Hampton Inn Provo was among the friendliest and helpful I've encountered. We stayed for 5 nights one week then came back the following week for another 3 nights. By the 2nd day, they knew us (and our coffee drinking habits) and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable business trip. The rooms were fine for the price point and most importantly they were clean. We didn't hear much hallway noise but we weren't near the elevators either. Parking is free out in front and they have a nice breakfast spread each morning that they rotate. Much better than the Fairfield next door (which has the same limited selection each day). When we come back to Provo, this will definitely be my hotel of choice. read more

We stayed here at the Hampton for two nights. It was reasonably priced at $75.65 per night. Our room had a king bed, sofa, desk, fridge, and microwave. I really liked how they clean all bedding and towels and they actually smell fresh. Our room included breakfast, the first days breakfast had a wide variety of danishes, breads, cereals, breakfast burritos, and juice. However the next day there was just toast and bagels along with egg and sausage, no fresh fruit, it was pretty bare. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were warm and clean. Hotel is a good value for the price. read more

I would not even give this place one star, but it makes you. The 3rd party booking company THAT WAS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE was a non English speaking person whom I made repeat my credit card number back to me twice because she just couldn't get it. This transaction also took 39 minutes to book 2 rooms! Checked in and they said my card declined. The number they repeated back was not even the card I had the lady repeat back to me! Then she wanted to try and charge my card again. I looked at my account and they had already charged twice on my card! Then the elevator was broken. My husband is in a wheelchair and the reservation line did not share this info also making my 74yr old in-laws carry their suitcases up to the second floor because they only had one teenage looking girl working the front! I get to my room and thankfully it is handicap accessible, but it is not the suite with the fold out couch I needed for my children, so now an hour later, my kids had no place to sleep. I was given an air up twin mattress for my 15yr old and had to have my 10yr old sleep with my husband and I. The bed was rock hard, pillows flat, rooms outdated, floor slick in handicap bathroom...I could go on! The manager was gotten on the phone, but nothing was really resolved. I will be demanding a 100% refund for both of our rooms. This hotel is a hot mess and charged me $199 twice for crappy night's stay! Meanwhile in the lobby witnessing this was a poor guy who had been asking for towels the entire day and still had not received any! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! read more

Double check your reservation! The room was fine, but the service was the reason we are not happy. We called the day of (15 minutes before) to get a hotel room for the night after the place we were going to stay at didn't work out. The office booked us for the previous night by mistake, which we did not realize. Once we tried to check in, the front office at first could not find our reservation, then when they found it, saw the mistake, and told us we would not be charged for the previous night. We thought it was over till the credit card statement and we were charged double. When attempting to call the hotel to get the double charge removed, they told us they could do nothing about it, and we were apparently booked for the 2nd according to their records. We were not in the state on the 2nd, as our phone location shows and the phone records and credit statements for the hold are all on the 3rd. We would have been fine with an apology acknowledging their mistake and their attempt to do something to fix it. Instead we must go to the credit card companies and have them do it. read more

We had reservations at a different hotel, and after we pulled up to it, we decided that it did not look like a place we wanted to stay. So, we went to the Hampton Inn last minute. I am so glad that we did! The rooms seem recently remodeled and they are very clean! My husband and the boys swam in the pool which also looked very clean and well-maintained. Very happy with our decision! read more

The hotel room was beautiful. We arrived in lobby for breakfast at 9:15. By 9:30 there was still no food available except hard boiled eggs and cereal. They were restocking the little muffins so we left without the free breakfast. This would have been a better value had we actually had breakfast. Very disappointed read more

Wow! They loved my dogs and loved my kids! After a tiring drive what a welcome place! Cozy and clean with excellent breakfast. The employees could not be any nicer. read more

We originally booked this hotel thru Hotels.com, once we were on the road we realized they did not send us a confirmation email but did charge our credit card, so we called them 3 times and no one at the website could find our reservation FAIL. After the whole Hotels.com ordeal we just decided to stay with Hampton Inn Provo anyways and book thru them directly. I called off the road and the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and helpful, he directed me to booking which answered immediately, the lady was also very polite and helpful (this was a nice change from the rude and non helpful team at Hotels.com.) Rooms were very clean, large and modern. They are also pet friendly .. big plus because we brought our pup! :) The next morning we enjoyed the comp continental breakfast, there was a lot to choose from and it was tasty. We will definitely book with Hampton Inn again! read more

Good stay. Rooms are just normal and ordinary, but clean. Check in was very fast, pool was nice, mattresses are a little hard, but not bad. We usually choose to stay somewhere with a complimentary hot breakfast, and this one did not disappoint. Also, the lady that works at the breakfast is probably the nicest human being I have come in contact with in many years. read more

This location doesn't really compare with the Orem location. The day shift, front desk female staff was inattentive and rude. Only positive was the manner in which the breakfast was prepared and presented; kudos to the night audit staff. read more

Very clean rooms, great fresh and hot breakfast. Lots of coffee. We left very early our last night and even though the dining area was not open, she was setting up and told us to help ourselves. I thought that was very nice. Rooms are non-smoking too, a plus to us. read more

Nope, nyet, nein, nuh uh. Poor management, shabby hotel, and rude service. Stay up the road in Orem if your looking for a value hotel in the Hilton chain. read more

While traveling home in the midst of the coronavirus panic, we stayed at this beautiful Hampton Inn in Provo, Utah. I had made the reservation weeks before this coronavirus outbreak. Of course, we were a bit leery about eating and sleeping in the "unknown". As soon as I walked in to check in to this beautiful place, I knew that we were going to be ok. It was spotless! Fresh ice water was available and a smiling clerk checked us in. The manager, Brittney Dalebout is delightful! In the morning, I went down to the continental breakfast and was greeted by Valerie who was happily making sure that all of the guests had what they needed for breakfast. Although I wanted to get home to Wyoming (and check our toilet paper inventory!) I could have stayed there for weeks! We are supposed to go back to Nevada in two weeks and will definitely stay here again (IF the event that we are going to, isn't canceled due to the obvious!) read more

What a great check in experience, lovely gal! Room was great, clean, bed and pillows comfy. We had a King with a pull out sofa, small fridge, microwave and pod coffee maker. Families were enjoying the pool and it was 9:30. Fresh bowl of fruit to choose from and coffee including decaf available. Great value at triple A rate. read more

We have stayed in several hotels in our travels from California to Wyoming. This was amongst the best. The hot breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. read more

I travel quite a bit but this was my first time in Utah. The hotel had a quick check in & friendly staff. My room was clean. Wifi went on and off but it could have been because I chose a room wayyyyy at the end of the hall....which I regretted because the room took a while to warm up and the noise from people going in and out was a bit bothersome. That wasn't the hotel's fault. Rookie mistake. Breakfast was typical for this brand, which is a good thing. But let's get to the important fact....they have excellent coffee. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Hampton, for being my home away from home. read more

So here I am at the Hampton Inn in Provo Utah after a very long day of driving south. I had made an online reservation for the wrong date, so they were not expecting me when I arrived. I even thought I might be at the wrong hotel! But Jonathan Lindsay was working at the front desk, and he was my savior. What a kind, compassionate, competent young man. He was able to straighten out my messed reservation, and got me set up with a room for the night here at the Hampton where I wanted to be. Even though I felt like an addled old woman, he made me feel welcome and cared for. Love my room; so clean and comfortable with lots of little touches that make it special - even a night light in the bathroom! Thank you Hampton Inn. Thank you even more Jonathan Lindsay. You are my hero! read more

This is the best hotel for the price. The staff is outstanding, the rooms immaculate and a tasty breakfast is always ready. I have stayed here for many yeas as we travel to and from MT from AZ. I feel like it's my home on the road. read more

We stayed here for five nights and loved it. We travel quite a bit and this time we had our small dog with us. It was comforting to know that the hotel was pet friendly and staff treated them as part of the family? I wish more hotels were pet friendly. There was no extra charge for having a pet? The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The bed was a little firm but still comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The hotel is close to a mall and within walking distance to restaurants and Sam's Club. There is plenty of grass areas to walk dogs. I will definitely come back to this hotel. read more

The rooms at this Hampton Inn are satisfactory, but nothing special except over-priced. There are a lot of plugs to recharge phones, computers, and the like, but the room doors are very noisy when they close, and the walls provide the same sound-proofing as paper mache. In other words, if you are on the first floor, don't expect quiet, restful sleep. The room clock also does not illuminate, so it is impossible to see the time in the dark. But the real "star" of this review is Valerie, a front-office employee who helps with the breakfast. Based upon my experience, Valerie is uncivil, impolite and downright rude. I specifically did not take my dog near the breakfast buffet, and I chose a table right next to the front desk, really in the lobby. Even though there was no sign that I could not sit there with my dog, and even though the front desk clerk saw me sit down there with my dog, Valerie yelled across the breakfast room, so that everyone in the area and lobby could hear, that I had to leave immediately. She could have simply walked over and told me, and I would have complied, but Valerie has no such manners. Apparently, far better in Valerie's mind to embarrass and humiliate guests than treating her supposed issue quietly. Shame on Hilton for hiring an employee like Valerie and for letting her anywhere near guests. I, for one, will think long and hard before staying at another Hilton lodging. There is a Fairfield Inn and a Sleep Inn right next door. Not reason to stay at the Hampton Inn and to risk having to encounter Valerie. read more
