I travel ALOT and I feel like I can give you a strong comparison to other comparable hotels especially the Hilton family. This ranks high amongst most Hamptons and I don't mean that negatively. There's clear evidence that the hotel is undergoing some type of remodeling so the past reviews may in fact have been accurate but at least for my room and experience it was very clean, comfortable, and efficient. Desk folks were super helpful and pleasant to deal with. There's virtually any restaurant you desire with a short shuttle or Uber ride. Didn't use the gym or other facilities but I did walk around and they all looked to be in great shape. The Hampton Breakfast was nicely done, exactly what I expect from the Hamptons. One area the staff forgot in the upgrades was the staircase. I know that's utility space but I try to avoid he elevator when I can and it did have a very musty odor and was in need of some new carpets and paint. Had to go to the staircase to find something to critique.. that's pretty damm good. I would recommend it!

I had tried to modify a 2 night reservation to an 8 night reservation but couldn't, so I cancelled it and booked a new reservation. They charged me for the cancelled reservation and the new one. I sought help from Bonvoy to get a refund and they first submitted it to the wrong hotel somewhere in Georgia. So I had to open a new case again. They decided they would not refund it but never notified me. So I called again and found out and asked them to prove it but they couldn't and then the lady hung up on me. I still have not received any follow up, any proof, or any effort whatsoever to help me. Bonvoy says it all up to the hotel. I called the hotel directly and they said it was all up to Bonvoy. So they stole $255 from a mom trying to take her teens on their first real vacation.

I understand that pests can happen, but what bothered me just as much was how the situation was handled. When I brought it to the front desk, I was basically told, "Sorry about that," and offered a $30 refund on a $130 stay. I explained that ants had gotten into my belongings and that I would now have to go through my suitcase to make sure I wasn't bringing them home with me, but they would not offer anything further. For the price of the room, I expected a clean, pest-free space and a more appropriate response when there was clearly an ant problem in the room. I would not stay here again based on this experience.

We're on the first floor and it sounds like the Jolly Green Giant is stomping up above. It's very noisy listening to everyone walk. It is pet friending and only $20 a night for up to 2 pets! That was the best part. We didn't use any other amenities as we were mostly just there to sleep and shower.
