Upon arrival, they didn't have my reservation. I showed them the proof, and they found a room that was not supposed to be booked because the bathtub was in need of attention (see attached photo--so gross). While I am grateful to have had the room, I am extremely disappointed that they didn't have my reservation that I had made WELL in advance! Since it was their error (and a huge one, at that) and this room wasn't supposed to be reserved, they really should have comped the room. They didn't. I won't stay here again. read more

Stayed in room 120 with my fiancées family who payed for us to stay on a roadtrip. The staff was very polite. Check in is at 3pm. Rooms should be ready by that time. We get here at 2:50pm and no one is even at the front desk. At about 3:05pm, the front desk person (Mailee) gets there but advises us that there are no 1st floor rooms available and doesn't know what time they will be ready. Why is there even a 3pm check-in time?!?!? Completely unacceptable... The front desk girl named "Mailee" was completely incompetent. We were one of the first ones to get to the check-in counter. Like I said above, she said she didn't know when the 1st floor rooms would be ready. So we waited and waited for about an hour. Another young lady who seems to have just started her shift came in and Mailee walked out somewhere leaving the desk, nowhere to be seen. In the meantime, other guests are also starting to arrive to check-in. Mailee didn't bother to tell the new employee who was here first and so forth. So the new employee just starts checking people in out of order but obviously not her fault. In the end, we did get our 1st floor room, but I would never stay here ever again. Also, be advised, there are no elevators here. If you have a lot of luggage, God help you if they don't have any 1st floor rooms available. read more

This is an "ok" hotel. I booked it based on its "Ramada" name which I took to be indicative of a reasonably priced decent hotel - I was thinking "better than a Motel 6." Sadly, I think this particular location is comparable to a Motel 6, not better. We arrived around 4:30 am, which required us to pay an early check-in fee of $45. We had reservations for the day before and were told that we could check in as long as we arrived by 3 am. Oh well. This is understandable. ROOM - we opted for the 2 queen beds. First impression - sheets were wrinkled and beds looked like they were made by a college student in a rush. I mean, I'm used to sheets being pressed and beds being made with more or less sharp corners, even at budget hotels. The room had a TV, microwave, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, AC/heater unit and a coffee maker. The iron was broken, the dial was broken and although it did heat up, the heat was only up to a low temperature for materials such as polyester, but not for cottons, which was frustrating. The coffeemaker didn't work at all - checked if it was plugged in and it was; just wish I'd known it was broken before I poured water into the reservoir and coffee pouch in. The AC/heater unit worked, thank goodness because the nights were cold and days were pretty warm. The beds were fine, at least for me. The bed I slept on was ok, comfy for me; but the other bed was hard and uncomfortable. Rest of hotel - carpeting looked old and worn with a mild musty smell, giving the impression that it should have been replaced years ago but the owners thought they could get another 5 years out of it. The lobby area is rather large and looked like it had potential to be better. But these days, who really hangs out in the lobby and alot of hotels no longer have such a large space. Overall, it's an ok hotel. The front desk staff were friendly. We didn't have a chance to try the free breakfast. If I'm ever in the area again, I think I'll opt to try another hotel. read more

You know you're in a fancy place when the hardware on the doors are painted. I know that's a weird way to judge a place, but little things like that matter. The lady at the check in desk was less than pleasant-I'm not sure she really wanted to be there. I had a hard time understanding her mumbling through her mask, so when I had to ask her to repeat herself, I think that made her even more grumpy. Our room was on the second floor. She let us know that there was no elevator and asked if that would be a problem. No big deal for us, we were able to go up the stairs just fine. But keep that in mind if you have any physical limitations or are bringing a lot of stuff with you. The room itself was very dated. They may have tried to freshen things up with a new coat of paint here or there, but the painted air vents, door hinges and other hardware made it look like a rushed job. There were also patches on the wall that were fixed and painted in a slightly different color. The beds were comfortable enough, although the pillows were very lumpy. (Glad I brought my own). The space between the wall and the bed was visibly dirty. So I climbed across to the other side to avoid walking down there. Sure, this is the cheapest option around, so you get what you pay for. With a little TLC, this could be updated and have potential for being a decent place. read more

Firstly, the one star is for the fact there was what appeared to be old blood on the pull out couch. The bathroom sink did not drain appropriately. The toilet did not flush well either and would bring up toilet paper with a flush. The fridge was slightly dirty. The towels were very small. The hotel staff were kind and when I called about my complaints, the front desk woman was unable to accommodate anything that evening as all the rooms were booked and the manager was not in. I asked her to make a note for management and some type of discount or refund, she told me she would jot it down. So we had to stay in this room for the night. On the Ramada website it says they are pet friendly and allow 4 dogs for 10$/pet however upon checking in, the front desk said only 2 dogs were allowed. There are multiple entrances to the hotel which allowed for faster access to your room. I did not see any elevators. The outside area had ample parking and lots of grassy spots. The room was otherwise spacious and the bed was comfortable enough. The morning breakfast included sausage, waffles, eggs, bread, muffins, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal. Will not be staying here in the future. Hoping the management does something about the room. read more

This is the second time I've stayed at this establishment. Everything is pretty discombobulated here. This place is under new management by Wyndham and the staff are doing the best they can considering upper management seems to be taken a hands off approach to the daily running of this All the staff are pretty much getting a crash course in working at this location, other than the housekeeping staff, the front desk people are unfamiliar and pretty much first timers at this location. The towels were interesting, my shop towels had more absorption's than what was offered the first two days, on top of that, the front desk had no access to towels one evening when I got in late, in spite of the fact they didn't replace the towels I put out in the morning. The hot food wasn't available until halfway through my stay on the third day. One plus is since Wyndham has taken over, remodeling activities are going on, the rooms have new carpeting but the bathrooms are in dire need of remodeling. For what was paid for this place, I would probably been better off getting s room at motel 6, at least I know when I'm about to be disappointed. This place has a lot to iron out before I will choose them for a stay in the future. read more

1st thing, while I feel the facemask is worthless and does not protect you or me, they had a sign out from Facemask required, so put mine on out of respect for business rules, we get to the check in part and I noticed the lady was not wearing one, so I asked her about it and she had a Meh, dont care attitude and wasnt too friendly IMO, so I took mine off! get to the room and the keycard didnt want to read the card! So, get in, and the room is Meh, could be better- the place does have a very light cig smell, and the chair needs to go to the garbage! Or at the very least refurnished as it's diffidently seen its better days years ago. I doubt we will be back here next time we're in the SLC area and I would not recommend it! read more

People in front of me in line got turned away, first for having a Utah County ID, then for having a "foreign" ID (?). Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen since I didn't seen anything about this on their webpage or booking site. Imagine coming in from a flight from another country at like 9 PM and getting turned away because you have a "foreign ID." Wild. Get into the room now and you're immediately threatened with a list of items and their charges if they turn up missing, and you're told to call the front desk "within 15 minutes" or you'll be billed for anything not there. A bunch of the stuff was missing in my room. I didn't call and I wasn't billed. Apparently a random crapshoot as to whether the sausage and eggs will make an appearance for breakfast now. Also no longer have the bagels with PB and cream cheese they had last time I was here. Just flimsy toast and muffins now. At least the WiFi worked well this time, I guess? read more

This place is not good for someone who is allergic to mold. I checked in for one night there was so much air freshener in throughout. I thought it was OK but when I woke up in the morning the smell permeating the hallway with musty odor, reeked of mold. I woke up with an agitation in my chest and light cough. The only reason I am giving this hotel 2 stars is that our wheelchair accessible room was set up very well and they are pet friendly. Other than that our one night stay was very disappointing. When I went to check in there was no one at the front desk. After about 10 minutes someone finally showed up. When I asked about the attached restaurant, she was weirdly dismissive. You would think a hotel with an attached restaurant would encourage customers to try it. When we got to our room, we noticed right away that the door frame had been repaired with wood putty and the door was difficult to close. Almost like the door had been kicked in. Pretty disconcerting! Later, we washed some of our clothes in the guest laundry across the hall. The washing machine worked fine, but after two cycles in the dryer, they were still wet. Not damp, wet like the heat wasn't working at all. We were on a cross country trip, so we packed up the wet clothes and rewashed them at our next stop. When Diane took our dogs out for a walk before bedtime, she walked past a van with two people vehemently arguing outside it. She said it looked like the were living out of the van. Another very concerning situation. Suffice it to say, we were glad it was just a one night stay. read more

I travel for work and booked a room for 9 nights here. I arrived early yesterday and was able to check in about 3 hours before schedule. This is the only good thing about the room I am in. I put my belongings in the room and then left to go to my job, not returning until late in the evening. Unfortunately I completely unpacked and even put food in the refrigerator. This morning, in better light, I realized that the place is FILTHY, and in need of maintenance. The carpet is covered in stains, the bathroom fixtures have hair and bits of what looks like toothpaste on them, the refrigerator and microwave are grimy and the little freezer space is so frosted over that the little drawer beneath is frozen shut. The curtains (both the inner blackout shade and the outer sheer) are shredding, and missing half the hooks needed to make them hang straight. The nightstands have grime on them, with I don't know what spilled in one of the drawers, and the floor behind them hasn't been vacuumed for who knows how long. The clock radio is one of those that has outlets and charging ports. Both ports have been pushed into the top of the clock, making them non-functional and the plug-ins don't work. The only way to plug a phone in near the bed is to shove the head of the mattress away from the wall in order to reach a multiplug adapter on the wall below the head of the bed. The radiator has broken slats, and when it was turned to heat, the smell caused concern that a fire might start due to the accumulation of dust and lint. I am in the process of making a complaint. I will post again to share how the that goes. read more

Our room was clean and quiet and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel does not have an elevator so if you need a cart for your stuff or can't do stairs let them know. We left before breakfast so I don't know what their plan was for that. It had the best room and refrigerator we had on our road trip. The staff were helpful and I wish I had known their is a good steak house attached before we ate somewhere else. We have family nearby so we will go there again. It's also handy to the I 15. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - Dirty - No elevator (2 floors) - Bad management After difficulty using our hotels.com ap to book a 2 night stay, we ended up having to book the first night in person, and the second night through the ap. Apparently the two different methods of booking weren't linked up, so we were evicted while out and about. (They "tried to contact us" by knocking on our hotel room door. Not by you know, CALLING us.) WTF!??!?! You have our contact number. F***ing CONTACT US! Weirdly enough, even though the two bookings "weren't connected," they knew it was us because they went in and CANCELLED that second booking. SO WTF? If they knew we had that second night booked, why the hell couldn't we just stay that second night? We were humiliated by having all of our stuff thrown into clear plastic trash bags and left at the front for us to pick up. They just shoved everything randomly about - loose toothbrushes in a trash bag with a wet shirt, loofas, and whatever else. DISGUSTING. To top it off, they didn't even get all of our stuff, so I had to go back to the room to grab our stuff out of the fridge, drawers, and my computer charger. WTH would the next guest have said about the clothes and water bottles in the drawers and fridge? Nice going Ramada. Fortunately we went to a MUCH NICER hotel across the road. So, for a low price of 80 dollars thanks in part to booking.com, I have given this hotel a shot. As far the front desk personnel, I'd give that a 5 out of 5! Very friendly staff, and went over everything with me for the breakfast, pool/workout rooms, and the locations of the ice machines. FOR THE ROOM PROS: The room has your basic things, a small fridge, microwave, one cup coffee machine, desk with a lamp, tv, a couch and small table. Sheets are clean and the bed is okay, but having not slept yet and having a bad lower back, the morning time will tell me if it was an okay bed or not. The desk chair was comfortable enough for me to sit in and type out this review, so that's something. CONS: The door to our room needed to be shut hard from the inside so the door latch would catch in the door frame. I'm not sure if anyone has made it known to the staff so that the maintenance crew could take a look into this, possibly just need to reset the door on the hinges. The next thing, I'm a tall guy and damn the luck that my head almost hits the ceiling in the bathroom. This is the first hotel that I have been in that I almost have the need to tilt my head to one side so I can enter the bathroom. The lamp shades in the room that we had were, lets just say, old and need to be thrown away and replaced with something new. Also, the lighting can be changed out and updated with LED bulbs that I've been seeing in hotel rooms lately. Half of the power outlets in the room need to be replaced. I couldn't plug in a power bank for a laptop because the lamp outlets, outlets on the desk, and even an outlet by the night stand were just too worn out to hold the prongs of whatever you want to plug in. ***** THIS REVIEW IS POSTED DURING THE STAY. Do not book a room here! This was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had and I've traveled to 40+ countries and stayed in some 3rd world shit holes in my day. My girlfriend and I were exhausted after driving 10 hours and literally all we were looking for was a clean bed. After checking into the FIRST room, we were greeted with a used Q-Tip on the floor, black grime & hair in the shower, and food behind both beside tables including a syrup encrusted IHOP container. After complaining to the staff, we were "upgraded" to our SECOND room where we were delighted to find dirty sheets with lipstick stains, dark yellow circles from god knows what, a lovely pube from god knows who, and floors dirtier than an East Hollywood crack house. One would think that during the Covid-era, hotel management and cleaning staff would go the extra mile to ensure the health and safety of their guests, but not here! I can only imagine what this hotel is like when there is no pandemic. Needless to say, we checked out and moved across the street to the Fairfield Inn. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20. read more

Provos best...the employees are friendly and the rooms are clean. The location is freeway close and there is a mall nearby. The rates are decent and the parking is ample. No there isn't any room service or valet but hey it's Provo. We enjoyed our stay which included a morning breakfast bar. Good job !!! read more

I booked two rooms online for this hotel for July 7-9. We arrived at 5 p.m. I was in my room, laying on the bed. At 7 p.m., the door to my room was opened by a male guest who said that he also had this room and had a key for it. I called the front desk several times to ask how this could happen and the phone only rang. I walked to the front desk to make the same inquiry and was treated very disrespectfully by the front desk girl. She did not even apologize.  What if I were naked or having sex? I told her that this was unacceptable and has never happened before in my life. How can a hotel book the same room and issue keys for the same room just two hours apart? The girl responded, "Yeah, well, it happens all of the time." She said this in front of me and the guest who opened my door. I asked her how this will be handled and she laughed at me. I asked for the manager and she told me that the manager was not there. I grabbed the card for Kimberlee Nording, the general manager, and called it a few times. It just rang so I called again and the same front desk girl answered the phone.  Since she gave the man a differend room, my key is now not working and she said, "Yeah, I know," but did not offer to issue me another one. So, I asked for another key and she had the audacity to tell me to come get it or someone would bring it down in 15 minutes.   This incident is unacceptable.  This front desk person is very rude and disrespectful. I am only two hours into the stay and I am already angry and displeased with the service of this hotel. read more

Giving it 2 stars cuz the staff was nice but very over whelmed. They were working on their own during a very busy time. There were many problems happening at the same time that sounds bad. For the price it wasn't as good as it could have been. The room was not very clean. The housekeeping supervisor needs to be retrained. The beds very uncomfortable even for the grandkids. The hotel was putting in new carpeting and it set in a very bad place. We do remodels and the rolls of carpet could have been place around the corner in the hall out of sight. The staff we dealt with was polite and fantastic. Our phone interactions prior to arrival were so easy. When we realized we didn't have enough T.P. for our stay, the gal running the desk brought it herself. The room itself is recognizably old and tired, but most importantly CLEAN. The ends of the light blocking curtain didn't close well (nothing to hook the very end hooks onto). The fridge groaned much of the time, but not extremely loud - more like as if there was a water heater kicking on nearby. From our room we could hear highway traffic & everyone in the hall. It's awesome that there's an extra blanket and pillow in the closet. Our room also had a hair dryer provided, even thought that wasn't listed online in the room amenities (so I brought my own). The hotel is very easy to find. We wished Covid-19 hadn't shut down the breakfast & fitness room, but that's certainly not the hotel's fault. read more

Older hotel. Two story. No elevator. It was clean and quiet. Bed was ok. Bathroom was so small you had to squeeze between the sink and the toilet to open and close the door. Air conditioner worked great but was noisy. Plugs in bathroom are so worn the plugs fall out. But, there was a restaurant attached, Ruby River Steakhouse. It was amazing! I'd eat there again but probably won't be staying at the hotel again. read more

The carpets in our room are in the worst shape that I've ever seen in any other hotel. Stains in the carpet . This was my first impression. The electrical in the rooms need to be updated. I use a Cpap and need electricity available on the right side of the bed. I'm writing this review at the pool, which has a beautiful view of the mountains. Local kids drove up on their bicycles to use the pool, and like most kids their age weren't cognizant of their voices. read more

The motel was dirty. There was a giant hole in the wall leaking rancid smelling water. There were people camped on the grass. The desk clerk had a very large dog that growled and barked during the whole interaction. The motel smelled like smoke and sewage. The neighboring room smoked and it seeped under the door into the room. Housekeeping never came to the room for the entire 5 days. We were booked for 6 days but decided to leave early because of this. The desk chair was filthy and covered in weird stains. The lounge chair was stained and had no springs. Sitting in it was awful. That being said... there was a washer and dryer. Just the pair but they got the job done. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was fantastic. The fridge worked well. Absolutely horrible. My room was out of stock on facial tissue when I checked in. Not a big deal. The room was very clean, but what deserves a 2 star rating is. Their complementary breakfast, and morning clerk. The breakfast that was included in the cost of the room looked promising until we got there and found there was absolutely nothing except store bought, individually wrapped waffles and bottles of juice. No coffee, cereal, bread, eggs, nothing to provide any actual nutrition what so ever, and the clerk didn't even consider this odd. Clearly a college student that is not concerned with getting a good start to the day. They would be better off just saying that they no longer offer breakfast due to covid. My last hotel on this trip had a full breakfast, and someone served us our food to prevent the spread of covid-19, but here they don't even try to make an effort. I am not going to call out then desk clerk's name, as it is likely mandated by management, but this destroys my opinion of the place. Basically, this is a lazy effort. read more

The hotel was good for the price but their were two major issues. Our room door didn't lock if you didn't thoroughly check it. So we came back to a open door. I told the front desk and nothing got done to fix it. Came back a second time the door was open again. We knew it wasn't us cause we knew the door had a problem if you didn't check it after you closed. The cleaning staff was leaving it open but not to their fault cause they didn't know about it. Second issue is they over charged me 55$ on my bill. They quoted me one price online and charged me a different price at check out. I called them twice to fix it but nothing has been done. read more

I made a reservation online from booking.com . I tried calling several times for many hours to try and confirm my reservation and no one answered the phone. I tried calling for about three hours! I finally called the 1 800 number and they confirmed my reservation. I made it to this location and checked in I mentioned I called several times and asked why they don't answer the phone the guy working the front desk his name was David let out a little giggle and said " oh the phones on mute" I find this really weird that the front desk would mute the phone .. how do you run a big hotel and not know your phone is on mute .. I have noidea who these people are giving junk reviews but this place is really nice. For 59 dollars a night on a friday night? And secondly the rooms were nice and clean. Entire hotel is smoke free so super good. Bathrooms are fine not old nor tiny as some claim. Unless maybe they weigh like 700 pounds or something. We got adjoining rooms for our daughters to stay in and front desk and customer service were great. Checkin took less than 10 minutes ans both Kyle and Lincoln at the front desk were superb. As for breakfast... its like any other 3 star hotel nothing super fancy but honestly for the amount of money you save on the reservations you could buu a 5 star breakfast and still save. read more

We had to check in late for our reservation so I called to give them a heads up, they were pleasant on the phone and when we did arrive I spent less than 5 minutes at the front desk. They had everything printed out and ready to roll when we arrived, which was extremely nice after being on the road with a five month old all day! Room was nice and cool when we got in and very tidy (great job housekeeping staff!!). The bed was very comfortable, room was spacious, bathroom is a little on the small side but nothing you can't deal with. The shower head is nice and high, I'm 6 foot tall and I didn't hit my head which is a rarity for hotels! Mini fridge worked great, didn't use the microwave but it was clean.
