This hotel is conveniently located right off of IH-35 and next door to a shopping center that has a Target, Ross, and other stores and restaurants. Very quiet area. This hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and great hot water pressure. A few helpful tidbits: -- don't stay in a room located on the 1st floor. You can hear footsteps of those in the room above you walking around especially in the morning when no tv is on. -- fyi, the air conditioner is motion detected so it'll turn off if no movement is detected. -- plenty of parking -- mini fridge and microwave in rooms To sum it up would recommend this hotel location. There was still hair in my bathroom and the ac vents had so much dust in it like it had never been cleaned before. Also had to buy some febreeze due to the fact my room kept smelling like some sort of Italian food at all hours every time I came back into the room even at 1am so I do not think it was due to someone cooking the same thing all the time at least the staff gave me extra blankets once I told them about the torn up comforter. The breakfast is pretty mid imo they need more options. I get you probably get a lot of older travelers but the cereal was all plain boring tasteless cereal like plain cheerios and Raisin Bran the lady running the breakfast though is amazing/ hard working!

We stayed at this La Quinta because it was close to Texas State where we went for a college day. But besides the convenience to the school, it would not be a hotel that we would stay at again. When we walked in the building was hot and we were informed that the elevator was broken. When we got to our room, we were missing a remote for the front television. The couch looked dirty and when we took the pillows off to make the bed. It looked even less clean. We also found that our shower was dirty. There was not a lot of shower soap. Especially for three people to use, there was a bug in our room. And one of the lights did not have a light bulb. We did get the staff to bring us another remote. But this is not a hotel we would stay at in the future.

I read back through Yelp reviews and this place has been in a constant remodel for years. Our room was presentable but about three hours in the entire room started shaking and it went on for about 5 minutes. Go downstairs to inquire WTF was happening and the front desk lady played dumb. I literally looked for an earthquake on the USGS website. Said she heard nothing and didn't know why. Just after that a guy on the second floor at the desk complaining his room was 60 degrees and the heat didn't work. I walked around the breakfast area in the evening. Everything covered in drywall dusk. Footprints where food would sit. Pool is abandoned. You find random room doors wide open and contents in various states of disrepair. Yes, it was a cheap ($100 with taxes) stay. My advice to anyone staying in Buda would be to check out the adjacent hotels instead. Walk just a little further if you going to Mavericks!

Housekeeping did not service the bed daily. Breakfast service was also disappointing. On Sunday, the selection consisted only of plain eggs and white bread--no bagels, wheat bread, English muffins, fruit, yogurt, or other standard items. The juice came from a machine of very low quality, and everything was served on paper plates. On Monday, the situation worsened: no eggs were offered, the juice machine was shut down, and staff responded rudely when I inquired. At one point, the kitchen lights were even turned off while I was there, which made the experience very unpleasant. Given these issues, the value was extremely poor. The hotel charges close to $90 per night but provides a level of service and quality that would only justify $20-25. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

Upon arrival, our supervisors provided us with a day pass to the spa which included, access to the grounds, trail access, pickleball access, library access, breakfast, coffee/tea, an hour long massage and a boxed lunch. We started at the pickleball courts and we were the only ones out there. The staff provided us with pickleball equipment so don't worry if you don't have any! After a few rounds, we then went to the spa to get our massage. In the massage building there were four separate rooms and a bathroom. Everything was clean and smelled amazing. A male masseuse then guided me to our room and ensured I was comfortable and asked if I had any areas I wanted to focus on. The massage was INCREDIBLE! My peers had nothing but great things to say about their experience as well. One masseuse was even experienced in pre-natal massages. The boxed lunch meal was such a delicious treat. It came with a sandwich, cookie, drink, chips and a salad. After lunch, a few of us walked some trails and sat around the fire pit. I would recommend sage hill a hundred times! If you're looking for a weekend getaway, a date night, team bonding, or some quick personal self care, Sage Hill is it!

Upon check in I was told the pipes had burst on the side of the hotel with non-smoking rooms but they could offer me a smoking room with a king size bed. I said only if you give me a discount which they did ($20 off ) Parking was limited because of construction/repairs. When I got in the room it was so gross. The table had clearly not been cleaned and I found hair on the bed and in the sheets. The room obviously smelled terrible too. I had to call them up to change the sheets and still found hairs in the new sheets they put on. The toilet didn't work so they had to come up and fix that too. The towels were nasty. I wound up wearing my flip flops in the shower because I didn't want to be barefoot. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone else stay here. Avoid it like the plague.

I have never stayed at this hotel and I told them this seemed extreme and that I was coming from out of state? I also ask why are they charging my card when I requested the option to pay at the hotel? They tell me that they are allowed to do so to validate the reservation? Then say I have been banned on all platforms and that people like me who play games should not be allowed to stay at their hotel? I don't know this person and this was one of the oddest interactions I have ever had with a hotel. This person needs to be fired immediately. Who talks to a customer in this manner over a hotel room? Just unprofessional and totally bizarre behavior. I was glad not to stay here and will never stay at another studio 6 again. Beware if you stay here..

Honestly, with the room being less than $90, I was expecting a typical trash and dirty room like most of the hotels that I've in, but my room was surprisingly clean and very nice. It had a full kitchen with a stove and full fridge. The doors to the bathroom were kind of weird though. It looked like a closet door with a secret room. Our king sized bed was really comfortable. The outlets and lights works and there were no stains for once. There's a little round table with seats. Overall, pretty spacious for a room that wasn't expensive. It was perfect for one night. The staff are very friendly. Large parking lot and the lobby is nice. I don't think there's free breakfast or anything like that. There is a pool, but ain't nobody trying to swim in 40 degree weather.
